FCSI received the account for collection on or about 3-1-from the original creditor as a valid and due debt, per the original creditor the Date Service began was on 11-24-and the Last date Paid by the consumer was 7-24-FCSI sent the first letter on or about 3-3-with notification of the debt and the consumer’s rightsCredit was reported on 4-12-With no response to multiple calls made to the consumer another letter was sent on 5-1-and both letters were sent to the same address the consumer lists in this communicationAn FCSI representative spoke to the consumer on 8-11-and noted the account as disputed as it was stated they didn't owe the debtOn 8-FCSI received this complaint and reached out to our client, ***On 8-*** reported that the consumer paid in full the valid and due debt in the amount of $directly to themFCSI posted the payment and reflected a zero balance on the account as well as reported it to the CBR's as paid in fullThe credit bureaus have been notified that there is no longer a balance and it is satisfiedFCSI has made no misrepresentations Thank you

Guest made reservations through Choice Hotels but booked an advanced purchase rate. Our GM - Cortney *** cancelled the reservation on 4/14/and also refunded the guest's credit card. These reservations are typically non-cancelable but our GM took the courtesy to cancel at no charge

FCSI received the account for ** *** from the original creditor *** on 10-22-for *** account # *** in the amount of $Letters sent and calls made with no responseOn 12-19-a letter was received requesting validation of debt and validation was sent the same dayToday
12-20-we receive this complaint via Revdex.com and CFPB stating they have no knowledge of the debt and wants it removed from their creditFCSI reached out to the original creditor to ensure the validity of the debt as well as request a copy of the final bill be sent to the consumerThe original creditor stated the debt is valid and due and the consumer should be receiving a copy of the final bill for their reviewThank you

After review of the account and the calls, the consumer stated the representative spoke to her inappropriately, it was found that the representative never raised her voice or spoke in any inappropriate mannerThe rep did ask if she was going to get a tax return and since her unpaid debt
was in collections it is a very appropriate question to ask, even the supervisor explained that to the consumerThe consumer was unwilling to commit to paying the debt even after being given specific arrangements in order to do so, the consumer stated she had other debts she was going to clear up firstThe supervisor told her this debt was over months old and explained the need for it to be taken care of immediately since she was now at a collection agencyThe consumer did not like that she was given terms to work with that were not her termsThe account has been noted for no more calls to the consumer as requested and the next step in the collection process has been takenThank you

I am rejecting this response because: I was informed by AT&T that it should have never been reported to the Credit Bureau's. The only fair solution is to have it removed from the CB/s so it does not show at all. Not just that it was paid. AT&T stated that they would inform Franklin to remove it from my negative file

Please have the consumer complete the fraud packet when it is received as quickly as possible and return it to the address of the original creditor that is contained in the packet along with all the instructions so the original creditor may begin the investigation into his fraud claim. Thank you

As stated in the response earlier today, the itemized final bill from the original creditor has been forwarded to the consumerIt is being sent through he US Postal Service and since it was sent today the consumer has not had sufficient time to allow it to get to their locationThank you
