I have been waiting for parts since last November (2015)There are hundreds of complaints against this company for many of the same reasonsA quick Google search of "Viking Complaints" will yield a slew of bad experiences and awful customer service recordsI wish I had known before purchasingI will never do business with this company again and I will act as an advocate to make sure others steer away from the Viking product line and this company as wellDon't know how you all at Revdex.com could punish them, but they should not be allowed to conduct business anywhere given their poorly designed product line and their complete lack of serviceViking management, you should be ashamed of yourselves!!! I am rejecting this response because: while I appreciate Viking covering the repairs for this one time, it does not solve the continual problems we experienceSo, while I'm happy that this will fix the current issues it does not prevent future problemsUnfortunately, I can guarantee with 99% certainty that we will no doubt have another of our Viking appliances require repair within the next six monthsAs stated in my letter, we have decided that we no longer want a Viking Professional kitchenSo really the only acceptable response would be to provide a refund for the cost to replace all of our appliances.

I think the more pressing issue here is what message Viking is focusing on during the Marketing of their Product LineFor example, The yr P&L Warranty on each productAnd the No Quibbles Return Promotion on their productAs a consumer, thats all I heard or knew so "Thats the Message I received Loud & Clear from Viking"I never knew of the separate "Cosmetic Warranty" that stands aloneThe fact is that I as the consumer NEVER knew about the "fine print" in the back of the manual that no one reads until they have a problem if anyIts never mentioned in their promotionsI truly believe in what I am stating and am sorry that Viking doesnt see my side of itSometimes, it takes someone on the other side of the phone to place themselves in someone elses shoes and see how they would feel if faced with the same predicamentUnfortunately, Viking doesnt

surface rust on a griddle is caused by water and oxygen, if you do not season the griddle correctly in the beginning surface rust will occurthe griddle can still be cleaned and re seasoned but its not something that is covered by warranty due to human errorCustomers need to take

I have reviewed the response made by Viking RangeThe oven was repaired on the third attemptOnce Viking became engaged directly- nearly a month after I first contacted them- they did finally arrange to overnight the parts on the second try.
The oven is now finally repairedIt should not have required this level of effort in order to get the company to be responsive; however, the ultimate fault lies with the original reseller who sold not only a defective oven, but one that deceptively was returned nearly years after original installationAt least it now functions- but buyer bewareUntil I was assigned a person from Viking directly I did not receive responsive serviceI do accept the company's response as the oven does now work
