I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
We accept the repair at no cost to us, either for parts or labor However, we do not accept the term, "final courtesy"! With the number of days of work that I have missed since the purchase of this expensive appliance, I will never be ahead! Our only real satisfaction, at this point, is to warn anyone remodeling a kitchen, not to purchase Viking Appliances!

I am rejecting this response because:
We are passed the repair stage. We have allowed Viking to send out repairmen to no avail. The appliances still are not working properly. To reiterate...the dishwasher still leaks (I can forward a video of it leaking or I can post to YouTube for anyone to see) and both dishwashers sound like tree grinding machines, the oven and cooktop still cook unevenly, the ice machine is still not working and the microwave still does not pop popcorn (even with glass pie plate we were told by a repairman to use). I have come to hate cooking in my new kitchen. I have not baked cookies in over a year (since just after moving in to our new house) due to the oven

I am rejecting this response because: Viking is failing to respond to the actual, cited issue in the complaintThey have not contacted me, rather they are reading service notes that indicate they do not understand the problem and their response had errors in it that does not reflect the installation setup in my homeThe tech from lake view verified that the unit is NOT wired into the ***It is on the same breaker as a *** but the two are not tied into each other, and before a tech was ever in my home, I had a liscensed and bonded electrician in my home who verified everything in the kitchen is poroperlly installedThe issue at hand is that the range got so hot that it melted through the power cord from the outside inHad this been a home electrical or installation issue, that form of damage would not have happened and any evidence of damage would have been reverse, burning up wiring from the inside outMy complaint and concern is being pushed off by a company that refuses to take responsibility for their faulty unitA unit that took a year and a half of use to slowing melt through the power cord and cause the damageA unit that I have zero confidence in and believe that since that root cause of excessive heat near the power cord inside the unit has not been addressed, I do not feel safe using this appliance as it is a time bomb waiting to melt through the power cord again and cause more damageFailure to address this issue is unacceptable and failure to resolve will be reported to consumer complaint news outlets of NBC and CBS as well as my attorney
