manual.  As printed in the attached excerpt from the Use & Care manual; any cosmetic issues are to be reported to the selling dealer within 90-days from the date of the original retail purchase.  Based upon the registration the purchase date on file is July 2014.   Also, cosmetic issues are not considered service issues, therefore the 90-day No Quibble policy would not have applied.  Unfortunately, Viking Range is unable to assist with the cosmetic issues outside of the 90-day warranty.Sincerely,

Good afternoon.Thank you for the reply.  We are sorry you disagree with the decision made. We understand the dishwasher was serviced while under warranty.  However the warranty was for a period of 1-year only.  The number of service calls does not change the terms of the warranty, nor does it start over due to service.  Unfortunately, Viking Range is unable to replace the dishwasher with it being more than 3-years outside of warranty.Sincerely,

I have been waiting for parts since last November (2015). There are hundreds of complaints against this company for many of the same reasons. A quick Google search of "Viking Complaints" will yield a slew of bad experiences and awful customer service records. I wish I had known before purchasing....I will never do business with this company again and I will act as an advocate to make sure others steer away from the Viking product line and this company as well. Don't know how you all at Revdex.com could punish them, but they should not be allowed to conduct business anywhere given their poorly designed product line and their complete lack of service.Viking management, you should be ashamed of yourselves!!! You are Awful!!

warranty with Viking.  Viking has reached out to [redacted] on several occasion for assistance and they did not returning our calls.Unfortunately, Viking Warranty covers repairs on the appliances; therefore, we are unable to offer a refund on the range. Good afternoon.The service manager from Viking West advised the following:Viking parts has been in touch with this customer. A voicemail was left yesterday with [redacted]. We let her know that all charges were being reversed for anycharges regarding her parts. There is also a concern that the incorrect part was received damaged last time. We have requested the customer call Viking toconfirm the model and serial number of the product to make sure the correct part is delivered to them, at no charge, as soon as possible.Sincerely,

Viking Range Makes every effort to manufacture products of the highest quality.  Unfortunately, in spite of all precaution taken to ensure the reliability of our products, parts failures may occur.
The appliances are too far outside of warranty for a refund. Therefore, your request for refund is denied; howbeit, Viking Range is willing to cove these repairs.

I am rejecting this response for all the reasons previously stated.....Viking has not made any attempt to "Try" and work something out which is amicable for all parties.Instead, they are digging their heels in and enforcing a policy which is buried in the back of their manual which they know that no one reads until they have a problem at best.  I maintain that this Cosmetic Warranty is Hidden in a place that Viking knows the customer seldom goes to.... Its funny that when a potential consumer asks the Viking Sales team (let alone any Sales Team) what the warranty is for Viking product, they mention the 3 year P&L warranty without ever mentioning the 90 day cosmetic warranty. ... Thats exactly what I did today when I called Viking  800 Sales Team # (800-241-9152) and the response from Morgan was 3 Yrs P&L...  No mention of a 90 day Cosmetic warranty...  All that I am asking Viking to do is deal in Good Faith which I do not believe they are... Based on "Consumer Affairs", alot of people seem to have some type of problem with the way Viking handles their consumer concerns.... Based on this deceptive practice & the way Viking has chosen to handle my concern, I would never buy another Viking product....  I wonder if the Executive Office would handle this problem the same way knowing how many customers they will potentially lose.
