I am rejecting this response because:
  I received a message from you today, 7/14, which is an exact duplicate of a message received on Friday 7/11, therefore I fear I missed some information
<!--[if !supportLists]-->-          <!--[endif]-->After I filed my complaint on Thursday, I phoned Viking again.  I was advised that the regional service manager had already spoken to the local technician and that they would be coming out today, 7/14.  Technician was here today to reassess/diagnose and said that he heard from Viking Friday 7/11 for the first time.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->-          <!--[endif]-->Range was purchased as a new item.  The technician told us today that this unit had been serviced before as there were wire nuts in the electrical system that did not belong.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->-          <!--[endif]-->The technician has not advised us to stop using the range, nor has he mentioned any safety issue whatsoever, but while cooking dinner tonight, two burners were on, there was a pop and a large spark and the breaker on that side of the kitchen turned off;  this is not the first time this has happened.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->-          <!--[endif]-->Viking failed to provide any customer service regarding my problem until Revdex.com involvement.  It is obvious that this unit was troubled before I purchased it and it should be replaced.

I am rejecting this response because:I think the more pressing issue here is what message Viking is focusing on during the Marketing of their Product Line.... For example, The 3 yr P&L Warranty on each product... And the No Quibbles Return Promotion on their product.... As a consumer, thats all I heard or knew so "Thats the Message I received Loud & Clear from Viking".... I never knew of the separate "Cosmetic Warranty" that stands alone.The fact is that I as the consumer NEVER knew about the "fine print" in the back of the manual that no one reads until they have a problem if any.... Its never mentioned in their promotions....I truly believe in what I am stating and am sorry that Viking doesnt see my side of it....Sometimes, it takes someone on the other side of the phone to place themselves in someone elses shoes and see how they would feel if faced with the same predicament....Unfortunately, Viking doesnt.

I am rejecting this response because:Viking is not living up to their end of their Marketing promise when they were trying to convince me to become a Viking customer.......Notice how they did not address the fact that their own employees in 800 Sales / Customer Service only quote the 3 Year warranty....and do not mention anything about the Cosmetic warranty when I called and asked them what their warranty was on their product last week.... This was clearly stated in my last response....  Why is that?  Unfortunately, the only reason is because they are simply choosing Not to reply.... Pretty telling!    If Viking  really cared about their customers, they would have tried to make this situation right in one fashion or another.... but based on their actions thus far have made it clear that they do not care do make ANY attempts!  I as an honest customer do not appreciate their deceptive actions.  Congratulations Viking.... If your goal was to lose another customer... You have succeeded.  Way to go!

Viking Range will be pleased to fully support any warranty repairs to you range in accordance with the terms of the warranty as outlined in your "Use & Care" manual. While I am extremely pleased with the offer of replacement, we have no idea as to when this wi be done   We have been told a new appliance has been ordered and we will be contacted by an installer since we are dealing with a defective appliance that is critial, especially during the holiday seasshopping n,  we would appreciate being given a time frame and a contact person for our situation

Their customer service line is a complete waste of time and energy. The service company that has the part ordered is as follows: [redacted]The gentleman with this appliance company called today and now says the part is back ordered till May 5th!!!
