I ordered their 5 Layer car cover that's advertised as 100% waterproof:

I have a classic car that is critical stays dry and there were puddles of rain under the cover after a storm. After contacting them, they offered 50% off no questions asked (which screams "Yes, we know but we're still going to do it" OR that I would have to ship it back at my expense. Fraudulent advertising and horrible customer service.

We ordered a cover for a 79 Chevy single cab long bed. On the site we ordered the one it stated would fit. When we got it, it was too short it doesn't fit the truck. We have emailed their customer service and have called multiple times. Only twice have we reached someone, who answered the phone HELLO and we said is this Car auto Covers, he hung up. We called back after it rang 50 times the same person answered, he said you need to push option 3 which we did no one ever answered. All we want is exchange this cover for one that fits! But one one will return our email or phone call. We paid $144.95 for this cover! Please help
I recently ordered a 5 ply car cover on sale for $1*5 (a sale that was ending that night and still hasn't ended 3 weeks later)! I entered all info about car correctly thinking item would fit? Cover arrived and did not fit-it was too small! Called sales phone number and asked the guy what vehicles the 6 digit # inside cover fit? He got offended and said-"you did not order a custom cover"! No, but I did order one to fit! I told him I wanted to return it, he told me to send email to [email protected] and they would respond with instructions w/in 1 day. * days later I called again, after they did not respond. I asked what the return policy was in the event it did not fit? He said "are you trying to trick me?" After 7 days he responded, offering a 60% refund no questions asked! WTF? Keep in mind this car is so nice I wanna cover it, he sent me something that might fit a VW Bug and now he wants to keep *0%.........I wish I would have read this page first! They said they would replace the cover but they did not state who will pay for shipping.As I said in the complaint they want me to pay $30.00 for the shipping of the defective cover replacement.I don't want to pay anymore money to have the defective cover replaced.At this point I would like a refund I will be happy to ship the cover back if they provide me with a shipping label.

Hello,We do not replace the cover more than once. If you need another replacement, we charge a very fair rate of $40. We cannot send you replacement covers everytime you think the cover is defective. Thank you

I purchased a car cover from CarAutoCovers, within less then a year the car cover did not withstand the California sun. The cover devleop holes and sun damage in less then a year of use. Since the car cover was still under warranty, I sent an email to the company explaining the situation. They asked me to send them pictures and they would replace it with a new car cover. They asked me to pay the $20.00 shipping, I agreed and gave them my credit card number. A month went by and I never received a replacement. I called and someone on the phone lied and said that the car cover was shipped and gave me a fake tracking number. I called again 3 weeks later and they said that they would ship it that day. In short, this company did not stand by their warranty and took another $20.00 from me and I never received a replacement. They were rude and hang up on me when I called back to ask for a refund. I would like others to "BE AWARE" before doing business with CarAutoCovers.com.

[redacted] I tried calling the number provided by the seller (800-288-[redacted]) and it is just a recording and there is no way to get in touch with this person named [redacted]. I tried all 4 options and no one picked up the phone. This company is not honoring there guarantee of 100% satisfaction, Hassle free returns, repair or replacement. This company is just ripping people off.

Hello, Unfortunately, we cannot issue an RMA after this long. The only thing we can do is to replace the cover for you. In order to do so you can send the old one back to us or simply pay $20 and we will ship you a brand new one without you having to send the old one back. Thank you

I have specifically requested a refund of my money. The company is at fault for the cover, and expects to only give me back 50% of my money which is not okay. Especially because they have given me the run around (and still are with the response just received) and their website says no hassle and money back guarantee. This company is a SCAM.

I bought the cover almost a year ago, at about 9 or 10 months the plastic for water protection started turning to dust (probably toxic) I rinsed it and the dust is a bit better but continues to deteriorate . When you take the cover off the car is dusty. I thought I bought 5 layers, not sure but I only see 3.
The Lifetime Warranty they are telling me is that you only get one replacement in a lifetime. So 9 months later I already need a new one. I think when I get a replacement I will have them give me a cheaper one without plastic! So not sure how long a second one will last, wont be water proof but will protect from the sun I suppose.
