Bought my cover from carautocovers may of 2015 , was lied to a bunch of times by James definitely not very smart and very rude , told me my cover would ship same day as he said "100 percent it would ship today " it did not ship for a few more days, once I finally got it , seem to fit ok , until I found out it is no where near waterproof even though [redacted] lies again and says "yes sir 100 percent waterproof" wich is not water proof at all then after a few months starts to leave huge amounts of powder from the underliner ,cover is falling apart, so I emailed warrenty department and they say that I have to pay 20 dollars to ship it , yet I did not make this cover do this why should I have to pay for shipping when it's there falt ,then if it happens a second time and it will read others reviews , now it's 50 to ship like it got heavier, so I can see that this place is a big scam that just resells used covers and keeps making money, I will not be sending this back and will throw in the trash, lesson learned I would not do business with these low life people who like to make money a unhonest way, so reviews are all I can do. I guess that they go out of business soon anyway sad business, stay away ,love all the five star reviews on there site yet you can't leave one of your own, should have known employees or paid customers for those reviews

Review: The length of the car cover from front to back is fine, but not from side to side. It falls about 6-8 inches short on both sides. The attached front & back clips and straps line up on the wheels & do not reach. Also, the cable lock grommets are too high up on the side of the car. I did not bother to take out the cable to try it because I felt it would damage the paint.Desired Settlement: After several chats, emails and phone conversations I am convinced that I no longer want to conduct business with this company. I have gotten several different stories from them. Ranging from ship it back at my cost [roughly $50], to just keep it without a refund, to we will send out another larger cover. The "owner" who would only refer to himself as [redacted] was very rude and unprofessional. These covers are advertised as "Sure-Fit Guarantee" for your specific vehicle. They also state on their website that the customer will be issued a full refund including all original and return shipping costs which they were having all kinds of problems honoring. I am not confident that a replacement will fit properly for my specific vehicle if they could not get it right the first time. Therefore, I am requesting a full refund to include return shipping costs if they want their product back.

I have been looking for a good place to get car covers for a while already. A friend referred me to CarAutoCovers.com, saying that they had bought from them previously, and were satisfied with the product and the service. So I bought mine there too, and have also had a good experience. Shipped in good shape, arrived in timely fashion, and fits my car well. Feels like durable material, so should last me awhile.

Review: Company claims "waterproof cover", "lifetime warranty", "satisfaction guaranteed". I tried the cover and a moderate rainfall soaked through completely leaving my car wet for several days. The entire cover was soaked through, not just one spot. It took several weeks hanging in the workshop for the cover to dry enough to attempt packaging it. Three months after my order I requested a refund and a return shipping label. I was told that it was too late for a refund and I could only get a replacement if I paid $20 for shipping or returned the cover at my expense. I do not believe this was a one-time defective item, there was no obvious flaw or damage. The material is simply not waterproof as described. I have no need for another cover that does not function as claimed.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $144.99

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.This information about the cover not being waterproof immediately and taking a month to become waterproof and fit properly was not disclosed in the cover description or at any time in the purchase process. If it had been I would not have bought the cover which, I'm sure, is the reason it was not mentioned. It was also never mentioned when I reported to the company that the cover was not waterproof and I requested a refund. This is bad business practice if not, as I believe, actually fraudulent. Perhaps I should be dealing with the State Attorney General, reporting fraud.

Review: Ordered cover, Jan 4, 2016, and was sent the wrong cover for the vehicle. I have contacted the company multiple times and it has now been over a month and the company will not return my email or calls to resolve the issue. I have paid for a car cover for my vehicle and the company refuses to provide the product that was ordered and paid for.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the car cover I paid for. Not a cover that is too big for the vehicle or a discount. I want a 5layer cover for my 91 F150 standard cab short bed.

on July 3, 2015 while putting truck cover onto vehicle my wife and I notice the Right front strap was defective. The black plastic portion of strap is broken, which allows connection to the left front strap for tightening of cover. I have sent out four emails to carAutocovers but the only response I get is I request to send in a picture. Why should I send in a picture to get a replacement for a defective item they sent me? I was interested in just exchanging this item but now I don't want another item from this company. I just want a return receipt to return item and get my money and shop elsewhere.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the amount paid for products that was unsatisfactory

I purchased a cover with an advertised lifetime warranty on Aug 2014. By dec 2014 the outer waterproof coating began to fail and flake off, rendering the cover good for dust and sun only. I have tried to contact the company several times to obtain warranty service or replacement to no avail. No response from them, as if they just disregard customers with complaints. For $156 dollars paid new, I can state the cover I bought is worthless now.

Review: Purchased this product on March 24, 2014 and it does have a warranty. After receiving this product, it has recently been falling apart and so I called the company first but was told to send an email with pictures and an order number. I have complied and sent my address, phone and address along with pictures. The only thing I could not provide was an order #. The package came to me without paperwork and I had deleted my email containing information regarding the purchase online. When I called again because I had not received any information from the company, I was told that unless I could provide them with an order # they were unable to send me a new cover.

At this time, I have the receipt on my credit card showing the amount I paid for the cover and am looking to get a refund from the company since they are not willing to work with me on this issue.Desired Settlement: I have tried to give the company all the information they have asked for except the order #. At this point I would like a full refund.

The customer has the responsibility of keeping their order number for warranty claims. The only way to track a customer is with this number. This is the proof of purchase and without this we cannot proceed with a warranty claim. If she provides us with the order number then we gladly send her a replacement cover.

I ordered their 5 Layer car cover that's advertised as 100% waterproof:

and it absolutely is not 100% waterproof. I have a classic car that is critical stays dry and there were puddles of rain under the cover after a storm. After contacting them, they offered 50% off no questions asked (which screams "Yes, we know but we're still going to do it" OR that I would have to ship it back at my expense. Fraudulent advertising and horrible customer service.

Review: the car cover I ordered does not fit, nor does it have side mirror pockets as I had asked for and was told it would. I've emailed 4 times trying to resolve returning it, and called three times. was told supervisor would call me back, no calls came back. I was hung up on once, and it took from 10/10/2015 until 10/20/2015 to get an answer as to how to return the item. I had sent a picture of how poorly the car cover fits, it has a huge air bubble in the middle, and hangs to the ground on both sides, does not fit snugly at all. they even advertise "We are aware that customers are cautious about return policies since they are often tricky and misleading. Our goal is to make the return or exchange process trustworthy and as simple as 1-2-3". I had to pay for return shipping of $37.69 and I would like that money returned to me.Desired Settlement: Return money of $37.69 that I had to pay out of pocket to return the item.

Review: I ordered a car cover on July 27th. Order #[redacted]. It arrived a week or so later. When I finally had a chance to put it on it did not fit. I emailed them on August 10th telling them this. They replied on August 11th saying theywould send me a new one. That same day I asked them if they could send me a prepaid RMA so I could return it. They said dont't bother, just keep it as a gift. On August 26th I emailed them again and asked for an update. No email reply was sent. On Sept. 22nd I emailed them again and stated I was going to contact the Revdex.com if I did not get the correct cover sent. The same day I got a reply saying they were sorry for the trouble and it would be in the mail the next day. Today is the 30th and I have not received anything. There have also been several phone calls where I was told that it was being sent and obviously it hasn't.

I have email copies saved so if you need them please let me know.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my credit card re-imbursed for the $144.99 I have spent.

Car cover was ordered for 2014 VW Beetle, the mirror pockets were in the wrong place,,, about 14" too far forward so the cover would not reach the front of the car.

Customer service is a joke, would not even check the part number to make sure it was the correct cover.

I have purchased 4 covers from this company. 3 of the 4 transactions were flawless. On one they shipped the wrong cover and immediately re shipped the correct one.

Review: I purchased a car cover for my 2016 Mazda Miata MX5. When it arrived, I tried the cover on the car and found that it is not form fitting at all, contains no holes for antenna and leaves a great deal of lint on my convertible top. The cover basically looks like a fitted sheet and has no form fitting qualities. I'm still trying to get all of the lint from the inside of it off of the top of my car.

I've tried 4 times now to try and return the cover. I've sent 4 emails to the returns address, spoken with customer service and chatted with on-line support. They in tern told me that I had to send an email to the return email address which I did. They promised that someone would be in touch within 24 hours with a return authorization number. It's been over a week and I still have had no contact from the company. I just want to get my money back for this poor purchase($109.99). They promise total satisfaction but refuse to speak with you when you do have an issue.Desired Settlement: I just want to be able to send the cover back and get my $109.99 back.

Review: I purchased a cover for my truck from CarAutoCovers.com on July 27, 2014. I received the product on time and immediately fitted it to my truck with no issues. My Order is #[redacted] and I paid $156.95 for the product via my Debit Card. On October 5, 2014, when removing the cover, I noticed that the outer coating was badly deteriorating with the coating flaking off. I immediately notified CarAutoCover.com via their requirements, including my Order # and Photographs. The Company then referred me to different email addresses and following some effort on my behalf, I received a response on October 16, 2014, I received a response saying that a replacement would be issued and I need take no further action. They also noted that it could take up to 15 Business Days for me to receive a replacement. At that time, I did ask what the defect was as I wasn't certain that I wanted a replacement, but again, no response. By November 3, 2014, I had not received a replacement cover and so I emailed CarAutoCovers.com. They responded on November 7, 2014 stating that they could not offer a refund as more than 30 Days had elapsed. I reminded them that they offer a lifetime warranty and money back guarantee. They responded on November 9, 2014 stating that my cover would leave the warehouse by the end of the week and that I was to "please understand that they had a production defect". The Company has not responded to any other communication or my request for a full refund. I did call them today, but the only number which they answer is the support line. During my call with support, the Gentleman stated that he could not help me and I must await a response to emails. I desire a full refund.Desired Settlement: A full refund please.

I never received an email and when I called them to find out when I was going to get a refund the guy said let me check into it and get back to you, which he never did..this was 3 weeks after I had sent it back via [redacted]. Second time I called the guy was very rude and stated when I asked him to just check into it, he said they get 1000s of packages in and he can't check into it without a tracking number. What company does not know what is returned to them and relies on a tracking number to know if they got a product returned to them. This is just another way for them to rip unsatisfied customers off.Desired Settlement: They can just follow through with their promise of refunding the money they owe me $144.99 and if they really want to make me happy they can refund the cost of me shipping it back to them which was $31.18 for all my troubles they have caused me.

Review: Purchased a car cover, states that it has a lifetime warrenty. After two months the cover lost its layers of protection, on July 29,2014 they promised to send a new replacement cover. On August 22,2014 I emailed them that I did not receive the replacement cover, they stated that I would receive it within one week. As of today Septyember 9,2014 I still have no cover. When you call they say to email them about your problem, I purchased this cover for $144.99 and I have no cover as promised or no refund.Desired Settlement: Please replace the cover immediately or credit my credit card for the $144.99.
