I recently ordered a car cover from CarAutoCovers.com. I admit I was a bit skeptical about ordering from them, but their prices were affordable and they had a good selection to choose from. I took the plunge and ordered. I must say, I am very impressed! The car cover that came in was very good quality, and fit my car like a glove. It's very durable, and looks nice in the car. Shipping was quick as well. I am pleased, and would definitely recommend them.
This company has false advertisement. They advertise custom fit car covers. They are NOT custom fit. They are just one big cover drapped over your car. Custom would mean it is snug and fits around the side mirrors. There covers do not do this. When I asked for a refund all of a sudden the 100% satisfaction does not apply. 1) you have to pay the shipping to return it to Canada...not USA. The cost of shipping that large of a box out of country would be cost prohibited. In addition, they have you wait until they receive it to refund you. OR you can keep the cover and they'll give you 50% back. They did not address my issue of the cover not being a custom fit or their false advertisement. Do not buy from this non USA company.
Review: I sent pictures to the warranty department via email of their defective auto cover leaving sand-like powder from their cover on my car. This cover has a lifetime warranty. They sent me a reply and had determined that I am entitled to a replacement cover and would send me a new cover after proof that I paid the shipping charge. I sent them proof of the $20 Shipping Payment PDF via Email that was charged on my credit card. There are no more replies to my emails except that it is being reviewed by their support staff and they give me the run around when I call via telephone.Desired Settlement: Replace defective item with another non defective item.

Review: They advrtise a limited lifetime warranty but when I sent photos of their deteriorating car cover after only 8 months they refused to honor their advertised warranty saying the cover looked just fine even though the top layer was completely flaking apart.Desired Settlement: Replace defective item with another non defective item or provide cash refund.

I bought the cover almost a year ago, at about 9 or 10 months the plastic for water protection started turning to dust (probably toxic) I rinsed it and the dust is a bit better but continues to deteriorate . When you take the cover off the car is dusty. I thought I bought 5 layers, not sure but I only see 3.
The Lifetime Warranty they are telling me is that you only get one replacement in a lifetime. So 9 months later I already need a new one. I think when I get a replacement I will have them give me a cheaper one without plastic! So not sure how long a second one will last, wont be water proof but will protect from the sun I suppose.

**please note that the order number can be found at the end of your order or on the confirmation email you received." which says nothing about one time. I dont consider paying 142.00 for 9 months a very good deal.

According to the picture, the cover is still in very good condition. We do not see a need for a replacement at this time. Please keep in mind that you only have one free replacement in your warranty, be sure to use it wisely. If you really want a new cover now, we can send you another one.
