Bought my cover from carautocovers may of , was lied to a bunch of times by James definitely not very smart and very rude , told me my cover would ship same day as he said "percent it would ship today " it did not ship for a few more days, once I finally got it , seem to fit ok , until I found out it is no where near waterproof even though *** lies again and says "yes sir percent waterproof" wich is not water proof at all then after a few months starts to leave huge amounts of powder from the underliner ,cover is falling apart, so I emailed warrenty department and they say that I have to pay dollars to ship it , yet I did not make this cover do this why should I have to pay for shipping when it's there falt ,then if it happens a second time and it will read others reviews , now it's to ship like it got heavier,  so I can see that this place is a big scam that just resells used covers and keeps making  money, I will not be sending this back and will throw in the trash, lesson learned I would not do business with these low life people who like to make money a unhonest way, so reviews are all I can doI guess that they go out of business soon anyway sad business, stay away ,love all the five star reviews on there site yet you can't leave one of your own, should have known employees or paid customers for those reviews

cover not being waterproof immediately and taking a month to become waterproof and fit properly was not disclosed in the cover description or at any time in the purchase process If it had been I would not have bought the cover which, I'm sure, is the reason it was not mentioned It was also never mentioned when I reported to the company that the cover was not waterproof and I requested a refund This is bad business practice if not, as I believe, actually fraudulent Perhaps I should be dealing with the State Attorney General, reporting fraud

I was going to accept this response until I saw the word “ethical”After going back and forth to their warranty email address about my issues, I sent them a link to a Youtube video of another buyer who experienced the same issues I was having and who had posted a review of the cover. I never claimed the video was of myself, nor do I know this individualVideo is here https:/*** or should be easy enough to find via searchSo, on the phone later that day, Mr*** from CarAutoCovers.com says, and I quote “if you remove the video, I’ll give you a full refund.” I had to reiterate to him that I did not post the video reviewOnce understood that I wasn’t the reviewer, he then proceeded to welsh on the deal and offered a replacement cover shipped to me insteadI was also threatened to be sued if I posted my own video reviewIt’s called Free Speech, so good luck with thatHe basically reiterated time and again that a quality car cover made for outdoor use is going to start to deteriorate after a year, no matter whatI’ve been around cars for many years, and that’s a new one on meSay you bought a pair of waterproof hunting boots, and after seasons they started to tear up, would that be acceptable? So if you’re reading this, then there’s probably a good reason why you’re on Revdex.com in the first place, so I’ll reserve judgement for the reader

find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. However, the resolution I desired was to receive the correct cover for the vehicle I ordered. I was finally able to speak with *** at the warehouse and he confirmed by the part number on the cover I received, that the cover sent was for a long bed truck and not the short bed version that I ordered. *** stated he would ship the correct cover and a return label for me to return the incorrect cover. This would be the most helpful resolution as I would really like the correct cover that fits my truck, which is why I ordered the cover over a month ago now and have been steadfast in my effort to get the correct cover. All I have wanted through this process is the correct cover I ordered. It became very frustrating that after notifying the company that I had received the incorrect cover, I was told that the cover I received is the best fit the company could provide and I knew that was not correct because I have purchased multiple covers for the same vehicle from this company. I felt I was pushed aside and offered a partial refund just to go away and my concerns were not addressed, instead of listening to my issue and considering the idea that the company shipped the wrong cover by mistake. I would certainly appreciate a refund in full, but my ultimate goal is to obtain a cover to protect my vehicle. Once I finally had the opportunity to speak to the warehouse/parts manager *** did confirm the cover sent to me was not the correct cover for my vehicle and he quickly identified the mistake and shipped me the correct cover (I hope), which I am waiting to arrive this weekI will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved

The company's advertising link appeared with a search on Amazon.com for "an outdoor car cover for a Toyota Camry"The CarAutoCovers.com Home page has a detailed vehicle search with Year, Make, Model, Trim implying a detailed fit for a particular car & body typeThe Home Page has feature banners stating "Free Shipping", #Car Cover in USA, Sure-Fit Guarantee, Hassel Free Return Day Money Back, Best-price Guarantee, Over 100,Satisfied Customers"However when the car cover arrived it is way too large to fit my car, perhaps a large truckWhen I called to inquire about returning the cover I was told to send an email request and I would get a reply in 24-hrsAs it turns out, in order to return the car cover and get a refund the "Hassel Free" return that is offered is: 1) choose to keep the cover that does not fit and get 50% of money refunded; or 2) the "Free Shipping" turns into a customer expense - customer must pay the shipping cost mailing only USPS with tracking number and insured for $(most likely the true value of item)They have refused to send a prepaid shipping label for a true "Hassel Free Return" as advertisedWhen I attempted to call the owner/shipper listed on return label, the General Manager informed me the owner does not take or return callsThe customer is left with a misrepresented product that does not fit and must accrue expenses in order to return a faulty product, for simply believing the advertisement and ordering a useless car cover! Hello, All our layer covers are 100% waterproof but not after the first use, it takes some time for the cover to become 100% and it can take up one monthThe return policy states that if the customer wishes to return the cover back to us, the shipping expense is on
