I have reached out to company and they have yet to send the products ordered. It has been more than 30 days since placing the order.
I placed the order on Wednesday, June 16. Order # XXXXXX for $319.80. Received notification with tracking info (XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) on Friday, June 19 that "Order was on the way." Placed second order on Friday, June 26. Order#XXXXXX for $85.99. Received notification with tracking (XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) on Monday, June 29 that "Order was on the way." I contacted company on July 16 via email about my order and specifically their shipping policies, according to their shipping timeline, I should have received my 1st order. Company rep, Maci D., responded with repeating what their website indicated. I responded to Maci D's message that I needed more detail about the status of where the package was located.
On July 17, Maci D's response was to check the website for updates and order #XXXXXX was shipped, which was delivered Saturday , July18. She also indicated that the 1st package was a large order and had to be packaged separately and was being processed and their was an issue with their distribution warehouse, which they were checking into. I responded to Maci D, concerning the first package. Why the 2nd order was shipped before the 1st and they weight was about the same. I also mentioned that if there was an issue, why would the second package be shipped and not the first if it was in smaller packages. That didn't make sense. My final message to Maci D. was according to her email that she didn't provide a shipping date, so the package could be in limbo forever. I let the company know that I would be contacting UPS (because Canvas rep blamed UPS at first) concerning the package location/status. I have not heard from the company since May 17.
Today, I contacted UPS about the tracking status. The UPS rep informed me that Canvas Beauty created a label on June 19 but have not sent a message that package needs to be picked up from facility.
Also, when I placed the first order (XXXXXX), I emailed the company as to whether the products would be sent when items were available, and how to they handle orders when product is sold out. I ordered hair care sets and some of the items in the sets were sold out.
I'm not sure if this is the reason that my product was delayed, but the company doesn't provide any information that is helpful in getting my order or the status of my order.
I would like to get my products within the next few days. It has been a month since I purchased the items. Unfortunately, the company promises one thing and never delivers as stated in their policy. I'm concerned with getting products from them at this point because I'm afraid that they will ship partial orders or I'll have product missing and I'll have file another complaint. If they cannot fulfill my entire order within a reasonable time, than I want them to refund the $319.80.
The customer's CBB Order, #XXXXXX, placed on June 26, 2020, was delivered on July 17, 2020. Please note that this shipment was delayed due to backordered input products. We sincerely apologize for the delay due to these products selling out much faster than replenishment capability at this time.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
CBB, LLC only addressed the 2nd order placed. I've attached my email correspondence to and from CBB and at no time, did the representative inform me that their was a "backorder" for the products ordered.
Concerning the 1st order placed, CBB LLC didn't mention order number XXXXXX for $319.80 at all! This order was a larger order and as you will see in the email correspondence, they did not address my concerns with the order being in limbo FOREVER! I don't understand why they send out a notice indicating that the order is on its way with a tracking number but they never send the products.
I feel that they continue to deceive customers by falsely advertising products that they cannot deliver, whatever the cause (rapid growth, unavailable products, supply chain issues, etc.). It appears that they have had a history of not being able to deliver products to customers.
CBB, LLC continues to advertise their products with continued complaints from customers that cannot get their products that they have purchased.
As I stated in my original complaint, I want the company to issue a refund of $319.80, immediately because I don't feel that they can be trusted to ship my entire order.
I've attached all the email correspondence between myself and CBB, LLC. I've only attached the items concerning order #XXXXXX. Order #XXXXXX was deliver as stated by CBB, LLC. If additional information is need for either order, I will provide upon request.
Hopefully, the company will issue a refund with the next few business days. My next step will be to contact the Attorney General's Office about the Company's business practice.
On 08/01/2020, I received order #XXXXXX in its entirety. Given the lengthy shipping time, the misleading information offered by the company as to why I hadn't received my order as stated in previous emails, and the continued advertising of products that are not available, I feel that this company deserves the F rating assigned by the Revdex.com and consumers should be protected from companies such as Canvas Beauty Brands, LLC.
Use a contact number for questions is not working, how can you conduct a credible business this way, seems like a lot of people are having the same problem
Products Not Delivered
I am filing a complaint against Canvas Beauty Brand. I purchased my several products on June 29, 2020. It says it takes 7 to 10 business days to deliver. I receive a tracking number right away. The tracking number says currently awaiting package. The only messages I received from customer service is that your package will be shipped. This is very unacceptable for black company.
I would like to either get the products are full refund of my payment.

I have placed an order with these guys and never received a confirmation email or package. I called 3 times and no one answered. Also I sent out a email to them as well. So I would like a refund!
Purchased products and still have no tracking nor have I received my items.
I have tried numerous of times to reach this company via email, social media, and phone to no avail. I purchased products on June 22nd and 25th online via the Canvas Beauty website. At one point I was able to speak to Tanaja RaShon via email customer service as I inquired about my orders to get status. She reassured they were sent out yet she would put in a ticket to find out what was going on. Last correspondence was July 8 which she also closed out my support ticket. I am beyond frustrated, but also understanding that with everything going on there maybe shipment delays. But when a customer inquires about products they ordered they should be able to get clear answers. Also due to the length of time of not receiving a valid tracking number it would benefit the company to send a secondary shipment rather than telling the customer to "just be patient". It's very concerning that I can't get a response to my concerns but they have my money. I'm very interested in trying the product otherwise I could have settled this by filling a dispute with my bank. But hopefully this will get someone's attention to get me a resolution.
I would like for the company to contact me and explain what happened with my orders. But most of all I would greatly appreciate it if they would expedite my shipments to me to make up for the delay, and lack of compassionately customer service and respect as a new customer that was not given to me.
On Wednesday July 15th I finally received a response from the company. I spoke to their social media account manager. Not only did the person get a resolution to my issue but kept contact throughout the process to make sure I was satisfied. They also made a quick turnaround in my products by offering a faster shipping speed as well. They sent my updated tracking Friday and it is actively tracking for delivery by Monday. I'm very pleased with the action took to rectify my situation.

Was told I can't have a refund even when the product wasn't shipped at the time I ask for it. Nothing has been done as of now, to resolve this issue and still no 116.00 plus ship and handling worth of product. No phone number or customer service and no ratings with Revdex.com. I should have checked there 1st. Starting to believe I was got.
I don't recommend anyone take the chance on this scam!

I ordered the serum and it came in a timely manner. I have notice hair growth and thickness already. I have read the reviews and not good ones, but maybe it depends on the person. all I know is that it's working for me. Thank you Canvas Beauty. Diane ***.

This product has something in it that put chemical burns in my scalp. My scalp had severe itching and burning. I had a sew-in with leave out at the top. I had to take it down due to the burning and itching and my hair started fallen out by the strands during daily usage. I was noticing ball spots in the front and back of my hair. As I my hairstylist was taking my sew-in out my entire perimeter braid fell out. Now I have multiple balls spots and hair loss due to this product. I will not be using nor recommending this product to anyone. I'd suggest people not use this product on babies or small children. Preceded and use with caution. This stuff is dangerous. Buyers Beware!!
They don't deliver product and they take no accountability. They don't respect your dollar. Very disappointing.

Once your order is placed and they have received their money. Shipping and tracking takes up to 2 to 3 weeks to receive you package. That's horrible!
Communication is lack there of. This company only cares about making a profit verses taking care of their customers. No Refunds or No returns.
I will never order from this company again! I ordered $136 worth of their full kit and still have not received my product . I place my order 3 weeks ago and no updates on the tracking yet. have email customer service twice about this and I haven't received a response,I wish I would have read the reviews about them not shipping out customers products This company is a complete f* scam . I see a pattern with this Canvas company when you order their full kit (which is $136) or when you spend a hundred dollars or more they're not sending their customers their items at an greater rate !!!this company needs to be shut down if they're not going to send out the product. I will be going to my bank tomorrow to dispute the charges. It's a shame this canvas company is skinny customers out of the little money that we have to buy the things that we need .
I've been duped! Placed an order and noticed they or my address is wrong. Tried correcting it by sending a same day email, only to keep getting, your order is processing. The next day got a Tracking# that wasn't legit. The UPS tracking information kept asking me to re enter the correct number and their number isn't that long. Call the bank, they can't do anything because it's still in process. Tried calling Canvas Beauty and the call hangs up before answering. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH CANVAS BEAUTY BRAND LLC, they are a rip off. Kicking myself, because I'm pretty good when it comes to these types of scams. Still in the process and will be filing a complaint.

This company is a disgrace to black owned businesses. Like many have expressed on this forum, they take your money and do not deliver. Furthermore they have the audacity to use the COVID 19 pandemic and protests in response to the murder of George Floyd as an excuse for their delays and poor customer service. I regret supporting this company as they seem to make their profits from deceiving their customers.

On May 19, 2020. I ordered a product for my hair from a Canvas Beauty Brand. This is after seeing several advertisements on line about their hair products.
I checked on the status of my order everyday, but continuously receiving the same information: "order is preparing for shipment".
On 5/27, I received a note from Canvas Beauty Brand, stating that the order will be delayed for up to 7 days.
On 6/3, I received a notice from the post office stating that my package will be delivered at 8p. The package was not received.
On 6/4, I received another email from the post office stating that the package was returned to sender. This was due to insufficient address.
On 6/5 (AM) I called the local post office, and spoke to a ***. I gave him the tracking number of my package. *** told me that the address on the label was insufficient. I asked him to inform me of the address, *** told me the address on the package was: *** XXXXX. No *** Road, ***
I wrote to Canvas Beauty Brand, requesting a copy of the shipping label.
On 6/5, I received an email from a *** of Canvas Beauty Brand, with an attachment of a shipping label. The address on the shipping label was: *** LA XXXXX.
I immediately wrote back and stated that the address is wrong. My correct address is: *** NJ XXXXX. I did not hear back. I sent several emails thereafter, before they finally responded.
On 6/9, I received an email from a Marci with the address label with my proper address, except it has Apt 2A, twice. I was so mad that I asked for the president or manager's name. They sent me the name of a ***.
On 6/15, I sent an email to ***. Today is the 19th of June and, no response as to date.
This company took my $40.25, and did not fulfil their obligation. I know it is not a lot of money, but it is the principle. I had also written to the post office. They are investigating. Right now I am not sure who is telling the truth. My concern is, if I told Canvas that the address is correct, they should remail the packaging, pointing it out to the post office. They are telling me to pay for shipping. I was not comfortable doing likewise. I was afraid that they are not legitimate.
I would appreciate your assistance in investigating this company.

The resolution I am seeking is: Canvas Beauty Brand should remail by product, because if the second label they sent me is correct. Then, they should remail the product. If they fail, then they should reimburse me my funds. I will NOT purchase anything from them AGAIN.
The customer's CBB Order, #XXXXXX, placed on May 19, 2020, was returned due to incorrect address data entered by the customer. Customer refused to repay reship charges due to her error. The customer was refunded her purchase amount on June 23, 2020.
I have waited since 10+ days, been excited yet tracking shows my package never left, only label made. Maci D communicates no refunds allowed yet I don't have the product within 7-10 days promised & to discover the package hasn't even been sent, I asked for a Manager's attention while this Maci D would not pass it on. After the 7th message, asked for $120.56 refund. I have called, emailed & really don't want to do business when Maci D's are the customer service reps that really tells me Customers don't matter after the order is placed. Literally says it!

Buyer beware: Canvas Beauty is a complete scam. The unsuspecting consumer places an order with the company. The website offers and advertises 10% off your first order. You try to use the 10% option. Unfortunately, it does not work. Canvas Beauty offers and announces free shipping on all orders over $120. The unwitting consumer places an order for $136, Canvas Beauty breaks the order up and charges $8.99 shipping fees. When you contact the company, they email you back, relinquishing all claims and stating it is not their fault. Canvas Beauty, please stop deceptively advertising one thing while saying something completely different in another place on your website. You cannot legally claim one thing to lure a consumer in, and once you have trapped us, claim another policy.
"Canvas Beauty Brand is NOT responsible for any discount codes, promotions, fees, or funds lost or forgotten due to failure to input any codes for promotions. If a 20% sale starts at 12:00 PM EST, and an order is placed at 11:59 AM EST, the discount code will not be honored as the discount code would have been in place at 12:00 PM EST."
The next concern, once you place your order, you are instantly emailed a fake tracking number. The tracking number will state the same thing for days, weeks, months. When you again attempt to contact the number and inquire, they let you know. You cannot ask for a refund.
This is a company that operates because we, as consumers, are looking for a cure to help us with hair growth. Canvas Beauty runs on our desire to look beautiful and create an outward appearance that will make us feel happy.
It is ashamed that this company has no integrity and a sense of honor or pride. Where is corporate accountability? There is none. The number of online complaints is growing. Read the current Better Business Complaints.
If Canvas Beauty has taken advantage of you and your loved ones, I urge you to file a Federal Trade Commissions Complaint, Fraud, and consumer deception is against the law.
If you placed an order and did not receive the order, I urge you to contact your local financial institution and file a claim. They will recover 100% of your money. Unfortunately, Canvas Beauty will retain 100% of your money. In our current world, there are still predatory companies trying to make millions off the backs of hard-working American citizens. Companies know all transactions are insured and backed by fraud prevention. They take your money and provide you with nothing but hopes and dreams. You will recover the money, but what happens to companies like this if we do nothing? They will continue to thrive.

On May 16, 2020, I ordered Canvas Beauty Serum ( order #XXXXXX) and have not received. I have emailed them 5 times and only received 2 responses from Kelsey.
so far. I finally got a USPS Tracking number XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX; verified status is in "Transit" since June 3, 2020 and have not moved. My order was shipped on May 22nd then finally reach Tampa, Florida on May 30th I. The Distribution Facility and still sitting there; this facility is 20 minutes from my home. I read reviews for 2 months before I ordered this product and really want this product, but I cannot get any note responses; I called two different numbers, one was out of service and the other mailbox full. This is extremely u professional with The email responses to cease and no product received. It is almost a month, and no product received and email again today for additional assistance or further action on my shipment. They took my money from my credit card really fast and now, no further responses after responding only twice. This is beyond ridiculous and unprofessional to treat customers in this fashion. It's like buying a dress and only getting the hanger. I am very skeptical about this company and do not plan to ever order from them again. This appears to be a company who scams customers with false advertisements.

Canvas Brand Beauty advertises on Facebook and I notified them that I had not received my order in over a month. They responded by Facebook messenger and claim they sent me recent email regarding the status of my order; never received the email and advised them the same on Facebook messenger. Furthermore, I called them and left a voicemail message. To my surprise, I received my Canvas Brand Serum today. I will not be ordering for this company again.
