My bad experiences with At&T spans a few years and the only reason we haven't switched sooner was that the coverage reviews with other companies was so bad I was afraid to switch After my most recent call with costumer service (which was short comparatively--mins) to the minto 1hrcalls since Septregarding why we were de-enrolled in auto pay We had this set up for years without an issue and out of the blue we were kicked out of the system We were told this happened to several customers, that is was a system glitch on their part and they would resolve the situation in a month I've been on the phone with them every month since then and each time promised that it was resolved and we should be "good to go" After being told this I not only was not "good to go" but they charged me a late fee AND a convenience fee for paying over the phone --which I was told I would not be charged because of all the trouble I'd gone through I'm a furious--but was told on this last call there was nothing they could do about the late fee or convenience fee even though he had the notes of my previous calls right in front of him--all about the same matter
Previous to this incident I have caught errors on our bills (double charges) and having data charges on our children's phone even though I was told their data access was turned off
I hope these complaints about AT&T start to impact their sales--it seems they are too big a company to take any accountability for these situations

My service went out on December 8th the first time the temperature dropped below degrees here in FloridaThey sent techs out that had to refer to Engineers that took weeks to restore my serviceOne week later the temp went down again and my service went out for another 4-days before they were able to get it working temporarilyJan 4th my service went out again in the middle of the night when guess what? The temperature went down again and was out for a couple of days while they changed another switch down the streetNow again today Jan 18th the service went out and it is degrees outside again!

We have had issues in the past of reaching customer service with ATT, you call and get placed on hold for ten, twenty even thirty minutes at a time.Only to be told they have to transfer you and place you on hold againAnd once its after business hours no one will ever pick upI was on hold and transferred for over an hour one time and then it was after hours I was never helpedI figured that out by hanging up and calling backThis time, My husband called about changing services and once he got a hold of someone after multiple attempts they told him they could increase our internet and switch our data to unlimited and we would actually save $a monthAfter taxes we were paying an average of $a monthOur Bill was going up around $I paid what I usually pay ($290, I should've reviewed statements and paid $I was thinking about the before tax amount)Anyway my husband called and they said the plan the previous person put us on was not in affect

I attempted to order new service through AT&T and there was a problem porting my number over, but none of their customer service reps could help me They told me I would have to cancel the order and then place another order I did so and they said that once I got my new phone, I could call and they could port the number over I called today, got hung up on times, had rude customer service agents, and on top of that, they told me I would have to go to a corporate store, which is miles away, return the phone I purchased, buy a new phone, and then they could port the number Well the corporate store doesn't have the phone and so it would be a wasted trip I cancelled my service because of the lies, rudeness, and unwillingness of AT&T to fix the situation The corporate store said they would have to still call the Porting department in order to port the number I will be cancelling my direct tv also because of this Forget AT&T and these big corporate companies

on 01/05/I signed up with Att for Home Phone and InternetI am an employee with the B.N.S.FRailroadMy Cell service is a National Discounted rateI was told that because I bundled mt services I would get H.B.OfreeThe Internet that was sold to me was JUNKIt was ATT Hotspot was very slow serviceI asked to disconnect and as a result ATT shut off my home phone service InsteadAs a result of improper Home Phone Disconnect I missed a Call for work for the RailroadIDIOTSWhat was even more troubling was the fact that when I bundled my services it voided my National Discount RateIt also voided my HBO discount because ATT said I terminated Internet Service earlyI then had ATT install Fiber Internet on 01/24/I also had problems with that service as wellThe problem was eventually solved by replacing a bad wireless router which by the way ATT wanted to avoid replacingToday I receive higher that usual bills, I also have been unable to get ATT to rollback my Cellu

*** *** a manager from AT&T said he was calling from AT&T to combine my Direct TV account with my U-verse account, he asked for my social security number and it wasn't until he asked for my account number that I got nervous and I checked the phone number that he had called from and it was *** which I called and it came up as unavailable, he then had a representative called stating that she was from AT&T with the number *** which came up unavailable also, I then called AT&T and they said neither one of those numbers listed above were one of their numbersI just want someone to look into these numbers to see if they are fraud numbers, and again I did give him my SS#, I hope he doesn't use it
