I have made a previous complaint about the same issueI thought this was cleared up with attA u verse account was created, a mobility account was created AND a line was added to my existing mobility accountThe two "new accounts" were supposed to be deleted and all fees waived because they were never supposed to be created! Promised promotions removed, over billed months in a row
I was promised an AT&T U-verse bill for my current services of $+ taxEach month for the past three months my bill has arrived at close to $ Each month I do electronic chat, and each month I have been promised it was fixed back to the $price I have printed transcripts of these chats from September, October, and now November But each month the promised promotion is again missing, and my choices are: 1) pay 60% more than promised, or 2) sit on the phone and chat for 1.5-hours each month escalating
As I type this, I am on hold for the 20th minute trying to get this month's bill resolved
My sincere belief is that AT&T fraudulently removes promotions hoping it's not worth the trouble for me to have my bill fixed This month is no exception, as I spent minute chatting online, was called by a managerThat person forwarded me via phone to customer loyalty Customer Loyalty talked to me for minutes the
Spent long years with them as my provider First year was great I got a good deal and my software all worked correctly Miraculously after my first year expired and my deals expired everything went to crap I started having system failures weekly I would call and sit on hold for long periods of time only to have a rep pick up and instantly my tv worked again I thought it was an odd coincidence at first but after happening month after month and every time as soon as they picked up the phone it would work again
I called in August to lower my package since the movie channels and all that were no longer free I spoke with a rep and told her exactly what plan I wanted months later I realize she only dropped me one plan and I was paying an extra $a month than I wanted too When I called back to discuss conveniently the notes in their system showed they dropped me to the plan I requested
My service went out again and I got an appointment for a technician to come out They missed the appointment by two hours and wanted to show up during a showing of our house The technician was livid that he wasn't able to get in the house and do his work while we were showing it He showed up at the house anyway and interrupted our realtor
It took them two weeks to get out to our house for another technician appointment after everything went out yet again and we were told we would be given compensation for the two weeks we were without service Our bill was close to $a month They compensated us a whopping $for two weeks of no service AwfulThey told me that was the standard rate
I had to dispute a $charge one month I paid the bill owed, less the $I was disputing Two weeks later my services shut off on a Friday night The only way I can get through to talk to a rep about the situation is to pay the "overdue balance" first So word to the wise don't bother filing a claim when they overcharge you they just turn your service off until you pay it
Lastly and the biggest screw up of all happened when cancelling my services because we sold our houseAfter being told my multiple reps that I asked during conversation with other issues, we were told no cancellation fees would be applied After we cancel we get slapped with a bill for $for cancelling and some other crap charges that totaled $ I called and called and couldn't get a clear response I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com and got a call the next day Spoke with a Shelly who seemed to be the first rep id spoken too that understood customer service She told me my last bill would be taken out in a few days and they would be refunding me the full amount for the issues and waiving the cancellation fees A month later I still hadn't received the money so I started leaving her voicemails every day Never heard backHer voicemail changed to being away and provided another number I called that number for weeks leaving voicemails and nothing So I re-opened my complaint with Revdex.com and got a call the next day surprisingly from a GregThis started on January 6th and didn't get "resolved" until yesterday 3/ And by resolved I mean I was told sorry nothing we can do for you We aren't refunding you what we promised
Greg, my new rep has absolutely no idea about anything going on with my case Used only the notes left by Shelly conveniently to tell me that I was wrong and that AT&T went above and beyond and I should "thank them for their out of the box thinking on taking care of me." I was told that my refund was applied to a 2nd bill from the month of January that I never received and should not have received because why would I get billed twice in one monthI was not given a reason as to why or how it makes sense to apply my "credits" to a fake bill Greg also informed me that if I were still a customer providing revenue things might be different Apparently the thousands I paid over two years wasn't enough for them
Awful company, awful customer service They use their notes as law and their is nothing as a customer you can do to dispute their notes They conveniently don't record phone calls despite saying they record phone calls for quality assurance
Avoid this company They will screw you once your initial deal runs out
Be aware of this company, they are thief and will steal your money,will sell you service for one price and then will make up some inflated bill with whatever they can come up with.If you don't like this type of behavior don't ever sign up,This company are criminal and they should be put out of businessI have so many things bad to say and none good that I wish I could give less than one starDon't do business with them,if you do ,most likely you will regret it

THESE ARE THE BIGGEST SCAM ARTIST!!! At&t has refused to remove cancelled services from my monthly bill
I removed HBO/Cinemax from my bill on September 2, When I received my statement on 9/14, I was still being charged for HBO/Cinemax so I called customer serviceThe representative informed me that I had removed the service during a billing cycle and that it would not appear on the next bill
I received the next bill on October 14, and I was still being charged for HBO/CinemaxWhen I called, I was told that it takes to billing cycles for it to be removedThis cycle has continued for monthsI have called on November and December because the charges still have not been removed from my billI have spoken with a manager who assured me that the charges would be removedHowever, I just received my January bill and I'm still being charged for HBO/Cinemax and I'm tired of wasting my time calling customer service because they obviously cannot resolve the issue
AT&T/DirecTV are liars Like many of the other reviews/complaints on here, they quoted me $for DirecTV and Internet and then charged me $month After months of complaining with no resolution, I cancelled and was promptly hit with a early cancellation fee of $ AT&T is a scummy business with even scummier business practices If you do business with them, enter at your own risk, because they sure as hell don't care about you

This is the worst phone company hands down! I should have read all the reviews before switching from Spectrum prior to taking the plunge because AT&T has lived up to it's negative reviews

The customer service reps have no idea what they are saying and each gives a different responseI have been put on hold for almost an hour knowing full well they were not even trying to help only to be given a nonsensical response that did not make any sense I have spoken to numerous customer reps, transferred to multiple departments and kept on hold with no solution in sightI have patient's, employees, hospitals that need to reach us regarding patients and multiple other people that call that main line which forwards to multiple other lines and for it to be down even for one hour is detrimental leave alone going on days!
This is definitely the worse case of poor customer service and technical support I have ever seen and join the thousands of people who have had such a horrible experience with this company
Hello years go ATT tech came to my house and took my modem and they installed a new modem, but the modem they took it that I owned amd they never gave it back to me I keep calling ATT and ask for my modem but they do not care and they still charging me $ per month for the modem,months ago I returned the new modem they installed so they do not have to charge me the $ per month but they still charge me every month, that is not right
