AT&T is horrible We have been dealing with an issue for days and still waiting for it to be corrected We called to cancel our Uverse service but instead AT&T cancelled our son's Internet and Direct TV in a different city He is now receiving a bill that includes a disconnect and reconnect fees A technician had to come out and set up new service because of their mistake and now my son is responsible for returning the "old" equipment to a UPS store for shipment It's a shame AT&T doesn't care about their customers any more They used to be a very reliable and friendly company

Around Christmas, my wife and I decided to have my mother-in-law join our plan At that time, I was told my younger Brother, Michael is the main person on my account Imagine my shock when my brother, someone who has NEVER been on our cell plan at any point, is the main person After hours, I was told it was changed Today, I went into a AT&T corporate store to find out any options with my malfunctioning phone, only to be told that Michael had to be present Imagine this: You are going to the grocery store to buy milkDo you have to have your siblings approval before you can check-out? I called customer care...big mistake They give me my options: Pay $and turn phone in Pay $and keep phone I chose the $ I then find out,after they received payment, that they couldn't complete the transaction and that I had to go to an AT&T store but because I had already paid, I shouldn't have an issue Well, BIG issue The contingency on the $option is that the phone is operational, which it is not and the customer care rep knew this So after my trips to the store, call to customer care sandwiched between, I now call customer care AGAIN and get offered $and my money back Lets see, I cant get a working phone today because I need little brothers approval, I havent worked in hours, you offer me $AND STILL NO CLOSER TO A PHONE!

ATT stole from me by overcharging me for services not provided to me and for their mistakes, their lack of communication and lack of professionalism and capacity to perform their woksI canceled the services on April 10thThey discounted only part of the services and continued changing me for the services they did not discontinuedThey then stated they did not receive the equipmentThen after talking to so many people I had some fees waivedthen I got those waived charges billed to me in addition to other services and date after I canceled servicesI sent my payment, and for weeks they kept calling me asking me to pay, though I had already sent the payment from fees I could not clear with them even after talking to like peoplethey kept transferring me to different departments, and no one knew what to do, other than to transfer me to a different department
When I thought the nightmare has endedThey sent me another bill for some equipmentI am yet to call, but I really do not want to argue and explain myself again for the 100th time

I was told in the store U-Verse Cable would be around $a month, internet approximately $90, received a bill for $ $of which was U-Verse and Internet....several additional charges I was not told of in the store Customer serv rep mislead me into purchasing something I had no idea We have been customers of ATT for years, pay our bill on time and I feel totally fooled, very disappointing

I am so fed up with ATT it makes me shake! I am copying another review because it is exactly what my complaint is PLUS when I was just on the phone with att, a gal named Sunshine seemed like she was going to FINALLY help me and I was disconnected!!!! I am furious with the service
