Internet/Tablet wireless service Have been a customer for years Six months ago a week outage Latest outage March 17th to March 29th Received email on March 31st while out of town that my service was being reduced from the 75mbit service I had for the last two yrs to 50mbit and that the price was going up $ Called and spoke with support who told me that construction in the neighborhood and installation of fibre meant that the faster speed could no longer be provided I objected to paying more for less and the agent said they could lower my price to $a month for the next year as a concession I never got a call back on fibre availability as I had been promised On 4/18/I called to cancel all my service The agent then told me that I would be charged $for cancelling the contract I was signed up for without either my written or spoken

AT&T is horrible they don't care how loyal you been I've been loyal since they have horrible customer service they don't work with you in anyway they just tell you there's nothing they can do their website is horrible never works there iPhone app is absolutely horrible they give you Sy Apple phones that only works for a year and don't warrantee them and when you buy a warranty through AT&T you still have to pay $for anything that happens to your device it covers nothing like cracked screen falling in the water anything like that etcthey don't work with you or help you in anyway the worse company in the world

Terrible customer service! Stay far away from AT&T Made the unfortunate decision to switch back to them from Sprint just over a year agoTook advantage of a buy one get one free promotion on iPhone 8's and purchased lines and recently added a fifth The promotion had nothing to do with my already current Directv account In fact since I was already a DirecTv customer they stated I would only be able to receive a small discount on my DTV bill and nothing on the cell bill Before I canceled DTV I called ATT and specifically asked (and this is why I am so pissed off at this terrible company) if this would impact my ATT bill I was blatantly lied to and told NO! About two months later they started charging me for the two iPhones that I signed up for in good faith as buy two get two free Called multiple times and the first representative stated there appeared to be an error and credited that month He stated he would figure out how to fix it Well he didn't and upon calling back another representative stated that it appeared because I canceled DTV that I was getting charged now ATT's social media pages are filled with similar complaints of blatant lies by sales people and shady business practices Going to pay the phones off and go to Verizon So they may end up getting their $for the last couple months but they are losing out on HUNDREDS of dollars a month from now on If you are reading this stay away from ATT!

I do love my new phone However, the promotion states that if you buy the Swith next then you will get it for 50% off When your bill comes in, you will find that you are only getting 40% off When you call Customer Support to inform them off this error, the blithely inform you that, despite the fact that the promotion DOES state "50% off a Samsung S9" AND even you bill states "50% off device Promo" in the credit; the Sis "one of AT&T's most expensive phones and so AT&T will only give you 40% off the device" This promotion was the deciding factor in getting me to switch over to AT&T and now I feel nothing but regret As nice as the phone is, it's not nice enough to make up for AT&T horrendous math and fraudulent promotion

I have been trying to close out an fraudulent account since a week that AT&T without my authorization has transferred to my nameAT&T does not want to take responsibility for their error and are holding me responsible for dues on a number that I never authorized or have any knowledge aboutFurthermore, they are accusing me of lying about the fraudulent account, so they don't have to deal with it

AT&T is literally the worst company I have ever had to deal with I have spent months and tickets trying to resolve an issue we have had I reached out back in September via the messaging system on AT&T's website inquiring about ways to lower our monthly bill I was advised that the best option for lowering out bill would be to bundle with *** At the time we didn't have cable services I agreed because I was informed that our bill would drop about $100/month Our first bill came out and ended up being $more that what our bill was prior to the change I immediately called AT&T and requested to change the services back to what they were prior to the change because the information provided was false I was then advised that I was in a month contract and would have to pay to cancel the services Never during the chat communication was a contact discussed as I can prove because to confirm I was being billed correctly screenshots of said conversation were taken I was on the phone for over an hour and half only to be hung up on by a "manager" because I wanted to stay on hold until I received an email from him that I could provide the documents of the chat to I called back and spoke to someone different who then opened my first ticket After the allotted 5-business days of not hearing back I called back to check on the ticket only to be told it was closed that they had the wrong phone number on file This incident then happened again with the 2nd ticket The third call after reviewing everything again and phone numbers being correct I was advised that the bill was changed and lowered back to my original amount but requested that I speak to someone in the department because I needed previous bills changed back as well Never hearing back again I called and was advised the ticket was closed with no notes A fourth ticket has now been open for about days This has been so incredibly frustrating I want to fulfill my cell phone contract with this company and uphold my end but AT&T does not uphold there's and I am at my whits end I would not suggest AT&T to anyone

I am completely disappointed in the customer service that AT&T has provided me for over monthsI have been into the store times with multiple different managers, who have done absolutely nothing for meOne manager never even came back out and left me just waiting in the showroomI have reached out via phone, just to have the rep's say that they cannot do anything for meI have probably wasted well over hours on the phone trying to get this straightened outJust for my valuable time being wasted
This all started in June 2017, when I was quoted a plan from my company's business cellphones around $I have this plan in writing and then emails back and forth from the AT&T representative explaining why now that quoted plan cannot be fulfilled at this rateI currently pay almost $700, almost double what was quotedPlus, this was going to be a switch from Sprint, with AT&T being responsible for the switch over/cancellation fees from SprintI have still not received that reimbursement of almost $3,eight months laterThe reason for this delay from AT&T is that the equipment was returned incorrectly, yet the person who provided the quote and instructions on the reimbursement never provided me with these detailed return proceduresEven if they would have directed me just to bring the devices to a store, it would have been easier than no instructions besides just shipping them back with the provided return labelI am now being told, I had to have recorded all the SSN numbers on each phone, corresponding with phone numbersNow neither AT&T, nor myself have a record of this so they have with held my reimbursementTherefore, I have been and continue paying almost double what I was promised monthly and still have not seen a dollar from my promised $3,reimbursement for cancelation charges from SprintIn addition to the direct monetary loses, I have lost my valuable time trying unsuccessfully to receive help from AT&T on these issues

I moved to a new house in late december and took advantage of the direct tv movers dealWhen I got my first bill in January it didn't reflect the price that I was quoted for the movers dealOn January I called in regards to what I saw and talked to several people including a manager who told me that he apologized for the inconvenience and that he would waive the cancelation fee for me as long as I decided to cancel within daysI called back a couple of days later and cancelled my serviceFebruary bill rolls around and I am being charged $in cancellation chargesI called back and they apologized and saw that I was accidentally charged for it and it would be credited back to the account and that I need not worryA week goes by and still nothingI chatted with several representatives online and explained the situation and they assured me that I would not have to worry and that I was going to be credited before the bill was dueA few more days go by and the bill is about to be due and still nothingI chat with another representative and they apologize and tell me that I won't be charged a late fee and that I will be getting a check in the mail that will cover that cancellation fee that I was mistakenly charged for and I should not worry and not pay for the service until I got the checkThat was almost weeks agoI have now talked to people and currently on hold after I was chatting with an agent online and they set up a call back for meThe manager called me and said that he was transferring me to someone elseI have been on hold as of this very second for over minutesThis has been by far the worst and most ridiculous experience I've ever had with a companyPrior to this I was a long time direct tv customer and I've had ATT services in the past and actually liked themThis makes me want to never again use any ATT serviceI don't know what to do at this point since I feel like anything ATT reps have told me hasn't happened and its ridiculous that I've had to spend this much time to try to resolve an issue that should have been corrected after the first phone call
