I was with Directv and got a phone call asking if I wanted to try AT&T Mobil service because it would save me a lot of moneyI was skeptical because I hadn't always heard the best things about AT&T but money was tight so I was willing to give it a tryI expressed my skepticism and was assured over and over that it would be "risk free" to meI knew that a lot of companies charged a restocking fee for apple phones so I specifically asked if that would be the case and was told that as long as I returned the phones within days I would not be charged a dimeSo, we get the phones and as I suspected the service was awful but I still called to see what else I could maybe do with wifi calling, satellite, etcI went into an AT&T store in Yucaipa California and while I was trying to get help the employee helping me was too busy flirting with another customer (who was already being assisted by another employee) that he asked me to repeat several things I was saying and even turned away and answered someone else's question in the middle of me already repeating what I was askingI just walked out at that point and decided to mail them backMy service started 5/2/and I mailed them back on 5/I was charged though for service from 5/2-5/because that's when they received them, so I gave them my tracking information to show when I sent them back and they said "oh well that's when they got to them" and they had no way of knowing when they were received other than the date they show in heir computerSo, I guess mistake made and I'll move on after being denied any credits for the time period I did not have possession of the phoneEven though I had proof that all he numbers had been ported back to Verizon so the phone were clearlyIt being used for anythingThen I get hit with the restocking fee...$for phonesI made several calls at getting this fee removed and asking if they can play the call back where I was informed there was no restocking feeThey said they can't do that and they apologize that I was misinformedA request for the credit of $was submitted and was deniedSo now, I owe $for having a cellphone that worked percent of the time for daysSo much for saving me moneyThey don't care though , they have enough customers so losing me doesn't matter and I realize that I would NEVER recommend AT&T or directv to anyone at this pointAlso, AT&T can keep their generic comment on this review to themselves

This customer service has been one of the worst I've ever experiencedI was quoted a price that was not honoredI tried to cancel several times and each time was given the run aroundI was told as a consolation for having this hard time they wouldn't charge me to cancel but when I cancelled they had no record of saying that (big surprise)They told me three times they would call me back about various things and never did, further delaying the proceess so they could charge me more moneyI will not pay this fee and will not ever do business with at&t again

I have literally no idea how ATT can have an A+ rating when they are the biggest thieves in the industryOver three years and my cell phone bill has never once been the same or even close for that matterI have had to call customer service every single month to walk through the billThey can never explain why there is a massive difference from one bill to the next, but instead they read line by line and say "it all adds up." I have spoken with two Supervisors in the last two days and both have been sarcastic and rude, rushing me off the lineThis weekend I am changing carriers and filing an FCC complaintI am still forced to pay the random $that hit my bill - and that is still unjustified by ATT - to avoid hurting my credit

They took my money, ported out my number which causes my other service to be cancelled and then canceled my orderNow they are telling me to wait 3-business days for refund? What am I suppose to do until then? this company tried charging me twice for the same month of service, complete scam

I sold my house and had to wait for closing two months laterI temporarily moved with family to a new address but had to wait to move into house I had purchasedI called uverse to turn in equipment but they told me to hang on to it and I would not have to pay anything from January to April for equipment rental fees or taxes Not only was I charged for each month, now they are charging me for full services which aren't even connected, a total of for services I haven't even used No hook upTheir excuse is that I miss understood The lady back in January clearly said I will give enough credit to cover rental fees plus taxes All lies, but worse is that I'm being charged full service when it's not even hooked up and no credit is to be given for anything according to my last call today May

I bundled cable and internet with AT&T and DIRECTV back in AugustI was overcharged on my first bill, so I called and it was resolvedThen it continued to happen every month even after I asked them to make sure it wouldn't happen again and put notes in my account showing I asked thisMany times notes were never put in my account and I continued to have to call and waste time being transferred multiple timesWe were charged for an installation fee for three months (which was supposed to be waived)Then we were charged the protection plan fee for a month after we cancelledWhen I cancelled services they only cancelled internet and then told me that the amount I was told our final bill would be was incorrect and my $credit was not showing up from when I called in DecemberWe are being charged for the mistakes they made multiple times and the companies do not even communicate with each other, despite having a BUNDLED accountThey were extremely frustrating to work with and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone

I recently signed up for a 2-year internet and DirectTV bundle Within a few weeks, I received multiple ads reporting the same package was being offered for $dollars less I contacted AT&T requesting they honor the advertised price for the same package and they politely insisted there was nothing they could do They stated the manager was busy with other calls and would not place me on hold to wait for them

ATT was scheduled to come out to make repairs on my mother's UVerse phone and internet, August between - pm No one showed up at the residence to make the repairs nor did they call to cancel After literally hours on phone, new appt was made for August between and noon Corporate customer service was called to coordinate a rush on the service and to assign a representative It is now pm and we have not seen a service tech yet! I have made calls to the rep (none have been returned) and to corporate customer service All I get is we're working on it I'm fed up as my mom has wasted two days waiting on repair of faulty equipment that is just not coming I am so ready to discontinue my service and my mother's service with AT&T!

AT&T has been terrible with me I responded to one of their adds to hook up Direct TV and internet for $80/month The direct TV was hooked up and is working great The internet however is not even hooked up yet The people on the phone continue to promise things they shouldn't promise I was told they were coming weeks ago on a Saturday between 12-4pm My husband sat home waiting I was at work I got an email the previous day that they had changed our appointment to a day when neither of us would be around I called and requested that if they are going to change our appointment, they need to call and talk to me in person or send a text I rescheduled the appointment again and switched my schedule so I could be home They were supposed to come again between 12-4pm At 3:I called and asked if they were still coming I spoke to someone at a call center overseas and they said they were just running behind I waited till 5:and called again to cancel altogether The lady on the phone offered a $visa gift card and $credit on the billShe then transferred me to someone again at a call center overseas The guy took minutes trying to find out what happened, even though I told him that I didn't care what happened and that I just wanted this to be done Then he took another minutes trying to find out if they could come out first thing in the morning He promised they would be out 1st thing in the morning then before he hung up he said that I might be closer to noon After being on the phone for minutes I didn't care anymore and hung up It is now the next day and we waited from 8am till noon and no phone call, email, or text We are done and we are staying with charter This is ridiculous Why don't they have their technicians make their own schedule, since they know their own limitationsI can't believe I wasted Saturdays and a Friday waiting for this

If I could leave zero stars I would This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced I cancelled my internet and Direct TV service after chatting with a representative about how to increase my internet speed I was told there was nothing they could do and that it would be understandable if I chose to switch to a different company I did, and now I am fighting to get money back from AT&T who never should have withdrawn the money to begin with I cancelled on 8/which was the date my billing cycle started I promptly returned all equipment and was told I would have a credit of $ Miraculously my account is charged $despite being told by multiple people that I would not be charged Now I want to get my refund and no one seems to know where it has gone, then suddenly they tell me it's being sent in the form of a pre-paid card!!!! This company takes money from me but then cannot refund it in the form it was originally sent I would not recommend this company to anyone

AT&T does a lot to lock you inFor example you buy a phone with cash and they tie it to their network and then take days to unlock itCalling doesn't help, no status updates
It should take them less than minutes as that is what it takes to do it as a hacker
Don't trust a business that tries to hold you and your money hostage

ATT is absoultely shocking in regards to their customer serviceI waited THREE DAYS at my house for a tech to come install an upgraded internet and no one ever showed upWith over hours of phone calls, talking to managers, and supervisors, no one ever came to install my internet I was told techs never picked up my ticket and on the third day was told someone would be at my house at AM and again....no one showed upI was lied to on MULTIPLE occasions, and have these lies recordedAre they going to compensate me 43/hr for all the time I had to take off work?

Ever since we have had phone repair issues with AT&T We are a small business in a rural setting and every customer is important to usAt first, it seemed every time it rained, we had buzzing on the phone lineAfter years that has been addressed Now the latest problem involves not being able to either receive or call out on either of our two phones This started July 10th and was fixed after waiting business days Now July 21st, the same problem; can't receive or call out We are still waiting for a repair, going on business days On top of it, they still bill us the same
