complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.We have already submitted extensive documentation of our damage, and received a wholly unsatisfactory offer.  We consider this company's actions to be grossly negligent, which may, in fact, invalidate our initial service agreement.  We are in discussions on that issue.
Essentially, All My Sons is aware of the fact that they badly damaged many of our pieces.  They caused a great deal more damage to our goods than any other moving company with which we've worked in the past.  We are flabbergasted by their lack of attention to our property, and insulted by their offer to "settle" the claim for just under $270.  They caused thousands and thousands of dollars worth of damage.

I do not accept the business’s response because I was willing to pay what the business quoted me which I figured would be around $300.00 but they came with a $730 dollar charge which was not right...

in what the business verbally told me about their pricing. I do not have $700 dollars at this time.

I wish I had thought to find the C- rating before hiring this company. I talked to them about moving our stuff to storage and some furniture to another location. Based on previous moves, I estimated 4 hours but was willing to pay for six. On Monday before my move on Tuesday, I received a reminder call about my all day Wednesday move. I informed them that my move was Tuesday and only 1/2 day. They then checked the schedule to see if they had time. They asked for a detailed list of everything to be moved - which I sent. Based on the list they were to call back if they couldn't work me in for a 4 hour move on Tuesday, arriving between 11 and 3. They did not call back. They showed up at 4 on Tuesday, and only sent 2 men instead of the 3 I contracted for. We asked if they had time to get the move done because we were told by the office that they had to done by 7pm. They said sure. After an hour where not much work was accomplished we started questioning again about timing and brought up the 7pm deadline. The driver said he'd never heard of that but would call the office. The office said he did have to be done by 7 normally, but if he was willing to work later, that was OK. We proceeded, but we should have sent them away right then. We had only furniture, which was already taken apart and about 20 boxes. This was a two stop move so they loaded stop 2 into the truck first - it took 3 hours just to move half my stuff into the truck. At that point we called the office and agreed that this stuff would be taken to the second location and another truck would be sent for the remainder on Wednesday. The only discount we would get was only paying one "transportation" fee since it was supposed to be a one day move. So, in 5 hours, half my stuff was moved. When we talked to the office about why it was taking double the time, they said I had lied on my list and the drivers told them I kept "adding items." (I reviewed my list and found that I had left off two items, I also found that the driver only had the first list I had sent, I had made an update within 30 minutes of sending the original, adding 3 more items, and the updated list wasn't given to the driver. So I had "added" 5 items, but 3 of them were still in my house!) I paid them for that night and was told to expect a new truck at my house "first thing in the morning" (Did I mention that one of the guys threw up in my front yard.)
In the morning, 3 men and a truck arrived at my house at 9:30 am (first thing?). I asked for an estimate of time to move the remaining items - the driver said 4 hours. (I'd already paid for 2 men for 5 hours, now these 3 men needed 4 more to move 1/2 my stuff.) I asked to talk to the office before they began so I could negotiate a final price without paying for endless hours. The office said that if he estimated 4 hours, it would probably take 6 because it takes a long time to move everything into an inside storage unit. 80% of what was left to move was in my garage, at ground level - it just needed to get in a truck and go to a storage unit, no stairs, no corners. I told the office I would not pay for 6 more hours, that my 4-6 hour move was now doubled and there was no reason for this. He said "You are unreasonable and I'm going to tell my employees to leave your house." He then handed the phone to someone else while mumbling "I can't deal with this woman"
They left, we hired someone else who came on Saturday, moved everything plus an additional large item that wasn't going previously and they were gone in 3 1/2 hours.

This company was a complete disaster to work with. They arrived without clothing boxes and refused to move the cloths from our closets. They came in and demanded more money because they felt the job was going to take longer than expected. We had the movers fighting among themselves and had one mover walk off and leave the rest of the move to the other mover to finish by himself.
They didn't finish the job and my wife and I were left having to move the clothes and everything from our closets as well as several heavy boxes and our whole storage shed that was full with boxes.
I will never use this company again and will never recommend them to anyone.

crew arrived at the customers home, due to animal feces and pet odor we had to cancel the move. We are unable to let our men go into an unsanitary environment that could jeopardize their health, the deposit was immediately refunded on 9/26/15 when the move was canceled.

We are very sorry we had unforseen circumstances arise and that we had to cancel your move. We never want to ever leave a customer without moving services. I assure you we did everything in our power to get moves to you that day and we faild and we are so very truly sorry. I have confirmed that the...

I hired all my sons in November of 2015 and it was the worst mistake I've ever made in LIFE, them three guys tore my sectional up they tore up my washing machine they put several big holes in my apartment walls and now there asking me to take a $185.00 no way mister I'm taking u to court mark my word. Maybe if your guys wasn't drinking beer and weed they could have done there job right. I'm pissed off don't use them!!!!

I have spoken with our customer and have expressed the regret for having put them in this situation. After speaking with Mrs, [redacted] I have terminated employment of the 3 men involved as I take these matters of our reputation very seriously.

The shipper signed and accepted the terms of our standard uniform bill of lading contract. The contract states liability is $0.60 per pound per article, the customer signed this liability coverage, the customer submitted a claim with weights in total of 446 lbs. the total liability is $267.00. We apologize that we did not meet the shippers expectations, in an effort to resolve this matter and allow the shipper to put this behind them, we are extending a full settlement of $1,000.00

The moving process was great. The staff was friendly and very good with our move. However, when they moved our treadmill they scratch our basement door bad and dropped it on our brand new hardwood floors.

The staff was very apologetic and said hey I will contact my supervisor and we will fix this. It has been 4 months and they keep blowing me off. They say "Hey we are looking at solutions to fix this." They say that if anything goes wrong they will cover it, however, I find that to be completely false.

I would not recommend using them just because if something breaks or gets ruined they don't care.

Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">As of today, the only response from All My Sons was that they sent a furniture damage claim form, which in no way addresses my concerns with the length of time it took for them to complete the job nor the fact that they left so many items behind at the previous location.  I consider this issue unresolved until they have addressed those concerns.

I contracted with this business to move me on 27 Oct. 2016! First half went great,but on 3 Nov. 2016 the second move never took place! These people are bottom feeders and after I know reputable movers! These people are not! I move around the world with my father who served 21 years in U.S.Army,and I moved many times while serving in the U S. A.F. These guys are the worst!Want to thank a Veteran? NEVER USE THIS SORRY COMPANY!
