Westpark Electronics, LLC Reviews (585)

We are rejecting this rejection due to fact we are willing to work with the customer which we stated previously.Abe's of Maine honor all offers posted on the website. All offers are bonafide offer to sell. Since the original order was cancelled I can not reinstate it. We do not store credit card on file for security reasons. A new order would need to be placed. We can ship out right away. I would personally follow up to make sure the experience is exactly what is expected. The prices on electronics change daily due to manufacturers promotions. We would allow him to use coupon code [redacted] that would discount 2% off the online order. That coupon is usually only for wire transfers. We would allow that coupon to be used for credit card purchases. This would allow the price to almost the same as the original order that was cancelled. I would need the order number emailed to be after is placed so I can allow the [redacted] coupon to apply. We look forward to a new order placed so we can full fill the order. We would through in white glove service and free hdmi cable to satisfy the customer.Thank You[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:The information provided in the response are completely wrong. I never mentioned that date and I never asked a representative to change the shipping method. Do you have anything that proves your claim? I sent an email asking if I can get the item by 7/3/2014 and I never specified any other date.

Dear [redacted]Your order shipped on 1/14 via private trucking, the trucker attempted to deliver the TV to you 1/16. We received you email for cancellation after your order shipped. We asked the carrier to return the product to us. It arrived back to us and we promptly refunded your credit card. We...

Regarding the above complaint ID number [redacted] I have been in communication with the...

We have agreed that Abes of Maine would accept shipping charges, for me to return the lens, and that a full refund would be credited back to my credit card.
I would like at this time to close this claim, as per above agreement with vendor.

We followed up with [redacted] to make sure the process was expedited. We were told by [redacted] the TV is working and the service call was completed. I am rejecting this response because:1) Get my name right.2) This does not resolve your high pressure and illegal bait and switch selling tactics.  A week after I order a [redacted] tv I am told it's out of stock but the tv I ordered is no good anyway and what I really want is the real [redacted] display and it's only going to cost me a couple hundred dollars more.  I have never seen such blatant disrespect for a customer and for the law.  This is a clearly illegal activity that will also be reported to the Division of Consumer Affairs.

Hello there,
I have requested to please reopen this case as it is not resolved. I have called in several times to do the same and the response I have got is that the representative [redacted] is busy on another call.

Dear [redacted]We have searched all banking transactions and do not see a wire was received for payment of your order. You used promo code [redacted] which deducts 2% off for order for payments using wire transfers. "Pay via wire transfer, certified check or money orderto save an...

extra 2% on all purchases." as stated on the website Use promotion code "[redacted] at checkout. As the [redacted] the salesman explained we need to receive the wire payment in order to ship this order. If you do not wish to pay by credit card we accept payment via credit card and ship your order. Please let me know how you wish to proceed. I'm sorry you have had this experience and the communication was not clear regarding the status of your order.Thank You[redacted]West Park ElectronicsDBA Abe's of Maine[redacted]

We are rejecting this response, the order shipped out on 2/18 when we spoke to you. It shipped via private carrier [redacted] and is in transit it you.The pro number is [redacted]. We are showing the scheduled delivery date is 2/27. [redacted]Attached is a copy of your invoice. Abe's of Maine uses the classic bait and switch. They advertise a price that is much lower than the overall market, but don't disclose that is a non-U.S. product. After placing the order, you have to talk to Jeff who informs you that the model you ordered only works with 230V. If you want the 120V (U.S.) model, it is several hundred dollars more. The is for an [redacted]

[redacted]We are willing to work with you to satisfy your needs. We simply stated since the original order was cancelled I could not reinstate it. We do not save credit card information for you security. Yes prices do fluctuate in the the electronics industry. While I couldn't guarantee the same price as your original order we willing to apply a promo code that we have available for wire transfer and upgrade you to white glove delivery at no additional charge. The price difference would have been negligible. We have the TV available to immediate shipment. As stated previously please place a new order, email me the order number and I will apply the promo code. I will upgrade it to white glove delivery and expedite out. If you have already purchase a TV from another source, please let me know and we can send you a out a tilt wall mount or an extended warranty for that purchase at no charge. We have a reputation of keeping our customers happy and we want to make sure it is kept upheld. Please accept my sincere apologies. Please let me know what I can do.Thank You[redacted]Abe's of Maine[redacted]

Hello,  I  apologize that [redacted] felt that we were advertising false prices so we can get the order that is not true we are a great family caring company and value our customers. The reason we wanted [redacted] to give us a call and verify the order is because the billing didn't...

match the shipping address and there was a red flag on it. We contact [redacted] we verified the order and [redacted] agreed to pay $50 dollars more for the insurance on the TV and upgraded the shipping for him for free and shipped it out for him. please close the complaint. Thank You

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Abe's of Maine (dba Westpark Electronics, LLC) is not addressing the issue at hand. The issue is that they lied about the products in which I ordered and paid for. The items were to be US retail NOT grey market. It is NOT a warranty issue. It is an issue with their sales and business practices.I ordered and paid retail prices for what I was told was US retail products.  What I received were grey market items worth 40%-50% less. Please refer to the attachments I have provided as well as the communication emails which follow.

Frank,
The only US retail [redacted] item I received was the [redacted] 50mm lens.
In response to your 3 (three) voicemails you’ve left me and the email in which I have included and am replying to, please consider the facts of the matter:
The "issue with my camera" in which you refer to in the voice mails and email is not an end user use issue or a camera functionality problem, but a sales/business practice problem.
Abe’s of Maine (dba Westpark Electronics, LLC), lied to me about the products in which I ordered and paid for (Intentional AND Defraud AND Truth and Material Misrepresentations) and used an interstate carrier [redacted] (Other Carriers) thus falling into Mail Fraud under (18USC1341).
At this time, due to the severity of the issue and the penalties associated with interstate fraud, which can result in high fines, long prison sentences, and restitution; I will give Abe’s of Maine one attempt at resolving this issue.
If the offer isn’t in my best interests and submitted to me by 5:00pm today (10/09/2015), then this matter will be forwarded to the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General [redacted] and other federal and state agencies as deemed appropriate.
