I would like to take the time to explain changing your level of service and the type of serviceWhen a customer is requesting to change their level of service, they can increase, decrease or add service at any time, however, not the type of service
When requesting to change the type of service, (Trash or Recycle) it means to change the line of businessAt that time, your old account is closed; a new account is opened with a new service agreement
In your case, you previously had a recycling account, which was cancelled when you opened a new permanent roll off account for trash Please accept our apologies for the frustration caused by this situation

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint Sent: Wednesday, February 14, 9:PMSubject: Re: Revdex.com Complaint ID ***Mr*** did make several attempts to make contact with *** at ***, the signer and phone number on the contractMr*** calls from different phone numbers and it doesn't show who's calling when he calls, only the number is shownIf you don't know who's calling and you're on top of a ladder, in an attic or working in a ditch you don't always answer calls unless you know who is callingWhen *** would call back, he was unable to make contact with Mr*** was getting nowhere so he asked if I would callMr*** pointed out that I was not authorized on the account, *** would need to grant me authorizationI don't have access to the *** phone, all calls are automatically forwarded to ***'s cell phoneWhenever I requested call backs I provided my call back numbers on the voice messages, emails and on the certified letterI never once received a call from Mr*** on the numbers I provided, at least he never left me a messageMr*** did send me the original contract but failed to include the terms pageIt was not made clear that the account was still under contractIn absence of the terms page, how would I know that after ten years on a three year contract that we were still locked in? A three year contract was offered with too high of a rate and no guaranteeI made several attempts and requests to speak with Mr***, my requests went unansweredOnce you loose trust in a company all you want to do is cut your losses and get as far away from them as soon as possibleThe offer was declinedDuring all this back and forth I was dealing with my mom's stroke and the return of her cancerWithout the requested call back and in the absence of the terms page, I misunderstood Mr***'s email to say that all we had to give was a minimum day and not to exceed days notice via certified mailA certified letter was mailed November 20, Thinking we were near the end, it came as a shock to find out in January that we had an additional six months left to pay the outlandish rateAfter several failed attempts I finally made contact with Mr*** to have the terms page emailedWhen I called back he offered either a three year contract with the first two years guaranteed with a % increase for each of the first two years or a two year contract with no guaranteeI'm sorry but at this point I have lost all confidence in your companyYour company's reputation is horrible. All we expected from Waste Management was to be treated fairlyI've been a Waste Management customer since about I've never had any issues with the service or the driversWe stayed with Waste Management after our move years ago because I never forgot the helpfulness of one of your drivers in disposing of a tree after a windstorm had blown it downI was a single mother at the time and the tree was too big for me to move by myselfThe driver took it upon himself to remove the tree from the backyard for meThat was great customer service and I never forgot itHow does Waste Management repay years of loyalty; they charge you three times the competitive rateCustomers should be able to trust companies and have peace of mind knowing that they will be treated fairly and charged a competitive rate without requiring constant re-negotiations or being locked into additional long term, one way contractsWe might have a nice house but it doesn't mean we are wealthyWe work hard everyday trying to make ends meet, which is a constant struggleWe are too busy to remember the fine print of a contract signed years ago and shouldn't have toIt should be simple, charge customers a fair competitive rate and provide good service and your customers will stay by their own free will Your policy seems to be: get as much as you can, for as long as you can and lock them in so they can't get away. Shouldn't plus years of loyal patronage count for something? What I'm requesting is that we either 1.) Be released from the contract at the end of February per the day minimum and the certified letter mailed November 20, along with payment of the $removal fee or 2.) The rate revert back to what it was before the last increase for the term of the contract, giving credit for the excess fees paid at the higher rate*** did verbally contest the rate increase, that's what started all of this. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. Perparagraph of the agreement between *** Transportation and Waste Management, on November 5, *** Transportation notifiedin writing, Waste Management of the increase in the billing amount as agreed upon. As of January 25, 2026, Waste Management still had taken no action to correct such billing increase. *** Transportation, as of January 26, Elected, perparagraph 3, to terminate its contract with Waste Management. Waste Management's customer service is awfulWaste Management's contract is written to trap unwitting customers into a bad agreement with ridiculous fees. I currently receive service from one of WM competitors who charges 1/as much, without all of the extra fees and add-ons. Even now WM claims my bill is almost $300.00. *** was quoted a price of $permonth. WM is claiming we owe almost $for months of service. That is 2X as much as *** was quoted. Add the amount WM supposedly deducted to the amount due and *** would have paid $for months of trash service. We were quoted $a month x 3= $or $(according to WM). *** does not owe and will not pay any liquidated damages to WM. WM breech the contract with their outrageous billing practices. *** will forward WM $for the months of service (although WM stopped picking up the trash days ago)

It is a shame that it took a Revdex.com complaint to finally (maybe) receive the refund three different representatives promised was on its way to meI sincerely hope WM will fix the flaws in its refund process so this does not happen to anyone elseFive months+ to process a measly $refund is absolutely unacceptable

Regards, I have statements that say charge off -dollars it doesn't say anything about being put on hold or anything you need to let people know what is going on I understand what you are saying but no one ever said I thing about me being charged if you look at the bill it looks like I wasn't being charged because it said charge-off due to bad debt -like different times
