We wanted to take this opportunity to most importantly, apologize for the frustration the removal charge caused you. We take these concerns very seriously and took immediate take action to remove this charge. Upon review of your account, our records indicate you spoke with our representative on Nov. 10 regarding your cancellation request. At this time, we offered to reduce your removal charge from $40.00 plus taxes & surcharges to $24.00 plus taxes & surcharges. Per our phone discussion on 11/22, we agreed to remove your removal charge of $24.00 and no refund is due to you. Your account reflects a zero balance. I had Disposall Garbage and Recycle pickup when we first moved to Palm Harbor from DunedinAfter a month or two of service they did not pickup our recycleI called about the missed service and was promised a special pickup...which never cameSince our neighbor has Waste Management I thought I'd go with themAgain, once a week pickup of garbage and recycleAll was good the first weekThen last week (our second week) they did not pickup the recycleI called on Friday and a truck did come by and pick up the recycleSo, here we are on the 3rd week...again, they picked up the garbage on Thursday, but not the recycleI sent an email about the missed pickup and after a couple of hours I calledIt is after PMWill they pick it up tomorrow? Mind you, I'm positive this missed pick up will not be deducted from my monthly billI am now looking for another (my 3rd) companyWhile in Dunedin for over years I cannot remember a missed pickup...I'm sure there had to be one or twoI'm used to excellent service

At Waste Management, we are committed to providing exceptional and reliable customer service. We have taken the appropriate action to identify the cause of the error and prevent this experience from occurring in the future. On November 10, 2016, an invoice was posted and issued to you in the amount of $149.66. This invoice includes fuel and environmental charges, which are costs to service and maintain our equipment and our landfill, and is included in all of our services. This charge would normally be added on the original invoice of $520.00, but was sent in a separate invoice. We truly appreciate your business and will make sure we do everything we can to exceed your expectations in the future.
