We purchased a 70" Vizio TV model E701i-Ain November of 2013, the product was replaced on Aug 2015, due to defects of white spots on screen, which Vizio agreed was defective They let me know that the TV was under a warranty that was extended to years because of this known issue and that this model was highly defective The TV I recieved as a replacement has now begun to show the same white spots and I have be talking with Vizio for days now on the issue only to be told I can choose to pay $for a discounted TV or pay to have it repaired on cost to me throught ITI their repair department I was then told that the TV I recieved was a refurbished TV by one of there customer service reps I was told that my circumstance was unique and that I would be sent to Vizio's ERT department to handle this matter From there I was told my only options were to accept the $offer or pay for a repair that I was told over the phone was not economically sound due to it being a screen
I purchased a Vizio TV a little over four years ago All the HD ports went out on mine and Vizio tech support said to use the coaxial cable since that worksWhy would I want to do that when I bought the TV for HD? They referred me to their non-warrantee department I had to leave a message and I still have not heard anything back from them on how much it would cost to get it fixedThe customer service rep also told me that I would need to weigh my options whether to buy a brand new TV or get it fixed depending on how much it would costThere customer service is as bad as their productsI have only had the TV a little over 4yearsDon't waste your money on this brand!!!!!
I Purchased a new TV from *** *** ** * *** ** *** ** and never opened the box for yearsThe TV was stored at my parents houseThe box did not have damage and was in climate control roomI travel a lot for work and was in the process of buying a houseAfter finally getting settled in the new place I removed the TV from the box and plugged it in and realized the screen was damagedNow keep in mind the box had no damage from shippingThis is definitely a manufacturer defectAfter several phone calls and emails from the company, they would not put the manager on the phone etcThey claim nothing can be donePlease help!
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowhi, they come out to repair my tv,put they put a motherboard in it for a in tv not a in like I have and what was in it before they came out.it shows a different model number and serial number it shows in stats in the tv info.and it says dtv not hdtv.they tell me the parts are interchangeable, but why not put the right part in for a in tv.the guy that came out to fix our tv told us his next job would be easier it was a in tv,so I think he put there part in our tv and ours in there tv.I contacted vizio to let them know they tell me there is nothing they can do.I told them if they sent the guy back out to put the in part in I would be very happy.I did not pay for a tv that shows tv stats.it had the right stats before they came out so it should have the same stats now.they make a motherboard for that tv with the right statsif you want to call my number is *** thanks *** ***

Contacted customer service to see about repairing a tv we received as a gift It was less than months old and purchased for over $ When we were moving into our new home, the screen broke We were not looking for anything free, merely a replacement part The tv is inches, so we thought it would be easier and cheaper to repair the tv Visio informed us they don't offer replacement screens and that the only thing we could do was purchase a new tv When I told them I surely won't be purchasing a Vizio, they put me on hold to offer me a discounted price of $off, but even with the $off, I could find the tv cheaper at a big box store Needless to say, I will be paying $for a new tv But it will be another name brandNever a Vizio again They support throw away products and I am not rich enough to throw away $on a tv

I'm thoroughly disgusted with Vizio's complete lack of respect for their customers' time and impact when the shipping company they contract causes a horrible customer experience
I ordered a TV from Vizio's website, 7/I got an email 8/from a 3rd party shipping company I've never heard of that supposedly offers "white Glove" service to set up my deliveryI scheduled the delivery for 8/(their first available date)
I got another email 8/stating my window for 8/was 2p-6p
I made arrangements to be at home for that windowat 5:30p I had not heard from anyone and had no TV so I called this shipping company...it took minutes to reach someone, who tried to reach the "driver" and after another minutes on hold I was told he could not reach him...he'd try again in minutes and call me backI got no call back, it was 6:52p when I get a call from a guy who tells me that their truck broke down and they cannot deliver my TV until 8/in the same window of 2-After venting I said no that is not good for me and I'd need it delivered in the morning of 8/15...the guy said he "put a note" but could not promise anythingWe ended that call
I called Vizio to complain about their shipping company and they completely didn't care about my impact or situationThey said they cannot help it (which I certainly understand) however Vizio should be willing to DO SOMETHING for their customer who was impactedThey were not
I then stated that if they don't care enough about the customer to do something, I don't want their TV and wanted to cancel my orderAfter being placed on hold times for over another minutesI'm told I'll be transferred to another department to cancel the orderthen the rep comes back to say they cannot cancel the orderI need to refuse delivery of the TV, then once THEY (Vizio) gets the TV back THEN they will refund me
I'm completely astounded at how Vizio operates and completely ignores their customer experienceThey will never get any more of my dollars unless they make this right

I have purchased VIZIO products for years, nice TV's, clear content, easy to set up and use
I recently bought myself a large smartcast TV for my bedroom, so my grandchildren and I can watch movies together, or YouTube kittens etc
It's a wonderful TV, picture clear as a bell, nice size, I just absolutely love it
THEN CRASH BANG BOOM!! 4am, I literally thought someone drove a vehicle through my home!
I woke very slowly, terribly shaken up and confused, got the light on and looked around...I was puzzled until I noticed my TV wasn't there!!
Yep, leg snapped off and the TV tumbled to the floor landing ON the leg and piercing a hole in the top of the TV rendering it useless
After weeks of arguing my case and sending pictures, and having someone tell me that after only minutes, her TEAM deemed the photos of no use and it's not their fault my TV's leg snapped offNot a part of the manufacturing process
Say what???? Really??? Oh but they'll let me use a coupon for $off a new one...WHAT??? That's not the point, the TV I bought, with a TWO YEAR warranty, was to be coveredNow the TV sells on the VIZIO site for just around $so why not just send me my new TV and make at least ONE Of your customers happy??
Jeez!!! It's not fairI bought it on a payment schedule because of my disabilities, I have to purchase things that way, I horribly limited income doesn't allow me to make a one time payment
This sucks, I still have the tv, the leg, and I will NOT throw it out, I'll put it up on my wall and glue photos to it before I'll get rid of it
There must be ONE person in the corporation of billions of dollars that sees that the cost of replacing my TV far outweighs the negative reviews and snarky remarks I can come up with to make sure other poor people don't fall victim to the VIZIO empire of inadequate customer service personnel, and shoddy WARRANTY COVERAGE
THE FOLLOWING IS A COPY OF WHAT I WAS TOLD:
Based on the pictures provided, this issue would be a non manufacturer's defect, and not covered under the warrantyIf you can find the leg in question and get us those pictures, let me know and we will take a second look
Thanks,
Miranda
VIZIO
SERIOUSLY?? WELL I SURE AS HELL DIDN'T MANUFACTURE IT!!!
WHAT A LOAD OF BS!!
NOW I'M TOLD MY WARRANTY OF YEARS IS NO GOOD, BECAUSE THE STUPID LEG SNAPPED OFF!
I SWEAR TO GOT, IT JUST SNAPPED OFF, I HAVE NO CLUE WHY
I CAN ONLY SURMISE THAT IT WAS DEFECTIVE IN THE FIRST PLACE...AKA CRACKED, AND I JUST DIDN'T NOTICE WHEN I PUT THE TV TOGETHER
I HAVE ALL MY EMAILS SAVEDIT'S PATHETIC HOW HORRIBLE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SUPPOSED TO SATISFY THE CUSTOMER, WITHOUT US YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR BILLIIONS

This is the 3rd Vizio set I have had to have replacedOn Vizio case number I have had Vizio case number, each involving the same model of TV the Vizio M65-DMy most recent one has non working component inputs, a screen that stops displaying and requires a complete resetPoor image quality due to pixelation and color bleed, an electric buzzing sound which causes concern of a fire hazard in my apartment, and poor build quality with obvious quality issues in the TV frame buildThese issues have not been addressed and Vizio is content to keep stringing me as a customer along while failing to replace the unit and instead seeking to only diagnose it despite having been sent proof when requested by their customer service dept

I purchased a 65’ flatscreen television and within years the screen began to slowly fade to black When I called and complained I was told there was a problem with the way the television was made and it would cost as much to fix it as it would to repair it! Telling me because it was a few months out of warranty there was nothing I could do about it!! That television cost over $ It wasn’t easy getting it It was a Birthday gift to myself Uuugh
