I have purchased 13 televisions from this brand in the past year (most within the last 2 months) and this particular television was missing the stand in the box. I called repeatedly, from several phones, only to be disconnected each time. I used chat, and the 1st chat person, [redacted] , disconnected from chat. Then I talk to **, who says they can do nothing, and then have a manager be completely rude to me via telephone, telling me good luck returning the television to the store, and that he's worked in retail and that they are the reason that the stand isn't in the box, and he refused to send me one. I'm going to be letting the store manager know that he accused them of doing this, and as a business owner, I was highly offended at the thought he was accusing their employees of being responsible, versus simply sending me a replacement (which he said Vizio "doesn't do that" which isn't true, because I had a replacement sent due to bad power cord.

I purchased the *** model television from the vendor "buydig" on *** in October, I was satisfied with the television set up until the release of the latest firmware, "3.0.12.2" around January 9thEverything was fine aside from occasional blackouts with the use of HDR on HDMIunder *** *** However, now there are a whole set of new problems that are not limited to more frequent signal dropouts, snow, and green barsAlso there are backlighting issues and dimming issues that cause colors to be misrepresentedThe update has effectively rendered the TV unwatchable the majority of the times d/t the inconveniences introduced by the latest patchNow it may be months before a proper fixNo warranty will correct this issue as it is not a hardware issue, but a software one Please advise me on what options I have at this time
On November 3rd my husband and I purchased a 43" 1080p 120Hz LED Vizio TV from ***
On Saturday October 14th, the TV powered off and was unable to power onWe tried plugging the TV into several outlets in our home, still the TV would not power onWe also tried cycling the TV, as suggested by other VISIO ownersThis entails unplugging the TV from the outlet and holding down the power button for seconds and then plugging the TV back into the outletCycling the TV did not correct the issue either
I called VISIO and spoke to a lady who set up my case and forwarded me an email to which I was to respond with an photo of the proof of purchase***, the lady I spoke to, advise that in lieu of the receipt, I could contact *** as *** is very good about keeping proof of purchases
*** was able to provide me with a proof of purchase that shows the TV was purchased on November 3rd, 2016, within the year limited manufactures warranty I submitted the photo

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
In reference of complaint ***, While Vizio has responded to my complaint with what sounds like an offer, Vizio is very disingenuous in their offer for repair their product at nearly the full retail price, or the greater insult of offering to repair said product, but would not guarantee the repairBasically they told me that I could pay them $toward the labor, but there was no way of knowing if this TV would not do this same issueI also have a inch Vizio TV that had similar issues, but thankfully I had bought a year warranty through Walmart, and they have now repaired it times for similar motherboard issuesTo think that that issue wont occur again with my inch would be irrational for any human being to assume, especially if they are not willing to guarantee the repair for a reasonable length of time VIZIO is obviously making shotty products, and should be ashamed of themselvesJudging from the other complaints on the internet, I am not the only person having these EXACT SAME ISSUES with the EXACT SAME MODEL NUMBERSAs far as I am concerned, this issue is not resolved until I get a 100% refundSorry but Vizio has proven that they are not a trustworthy company! And if they read this, the year warranty is ridiculous! ALL TV's should have a year STANDARD warranty! PERIOD! I wonder how many more people are merely tossing their Vizio TV's and doing what I ended up doingI bought a Samsung! Revdex.com please move this complaint to UNRESOLVED as I am considering just throwing my $600+ investment in the trash! Sincerely Mr*** ***, ** *** *** *** ** ***, *** cell

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.Vizio customer service was not able to help me, however Vizio Corporate Support sent a technician to my home to fix my 4K 65" TV. My TV had a faulty mother board that was defective from manufacturingI am pleased Vizio fixed my TV. I have several Vizo sound bars and televisions. If this issue had not been resolved Vizio would have lost a life time customer. By them doing the right thing I will continue to buy Vizio products. I just wish they would acknowledge that some of their products have faulty mother boards installed.

it all depends upon the amount of the discount that they are offeringif they are offering a discount that will be equal to what I paid for the other television setI PAID only $dollars for the 50' model, which was a display televisionif it is a large discount off a new one that would acceptable to meif they agreed to sale me a refurbished television at great price, that would be fine with me
