Last Saturday the crew from The Basement Doctor came to my house and put the finishing touches on my basement transformation. I couldn’t be more pleased!! After a bad experience last summer house hunting, my wife *** and I realized that one third of our ninety year old house was unusable due to water problems. After a chance meeting with my old friend Ron G we thought maybe we should look into waterproofing it. I’ve known Ron for many years I’ve always considered him an upright guy and a “straight shooter”. He was happy to help. He sent Ryan B over to inspect our situation and he explained all of our possibilities for our very wet basement. We made our choices and the time was scheduled on our time line. Gary and his crew arrived right on time every day and were very professional as well as friendly.You could tell they took pride in their work.We chose the sump pump/drainage system with two backup batteries and a “state of the art” monitoring app so I can check it on my phone. It also included a new drain to the street which they tied into our gutter system. In the end we also chose extra insulation and a new glass block window. We couldn’t believe how much better our whole house feels, and are exploring what to do with all the new living space. I needed work done in my basement due to water intrusion. I began doing my homework and spoke with 3 companies total. After doing my homework, I chose The Basement Doctors. I decided the best option for me was to have a sump pump installed to remedy my wet basement problem. I contacted this company in mid to late March. I was scheduled for the sump pump installation in late June. The crew that arrived was AWESOME. They were very professional and completed the work in a timely manner. Late September, I called to inform the Basement Doctor that I noticed water in an area that was repaired. I knew that I had a warranty with the work that was completed so I was not worried. When I made the call, someone was at my home the next day to check out my problem. My problem begins here: After the gentlemen came out, he apologized for the issue and agreed that this shouldn't be happening and that I would be contacted to schedule a time, at my convenience, to fix the problem. I received a follow up call about 3 weeks later and that is where communication from the Basement doctor ceased. It's been almost 2 months and I've heard nothing. I must say that at this time my basement is in much better shape than it was prior to the work being done but I am concerned that if water is coming in less than 3 months after the work has been done than what is going to happen 1 year from now? Will my basement begin to flood all over again? I am really disappointed because up until this point, I really felt that this company was absolutely professional and I even bragged about them on my facebook and I am sure they even gained another customer because of my referral. I just want a call back so that I can be scheduled to have the work re-done.

The Basement Dr. came to my home & assessed the problem . We then discussed what was to be done to fix the problem & agreed on the price. They then set a date & time for the work to be done. Even though It is in the middle of November & the weather has be terrible the crew has done a great job. Justin and his crew are very fast & VERY good at what they did. I have a lot of praise for them. They take pride in their work. Hard to find these days!! Everyone at Basement Dr. has been super nice & accomadating. I highly recommend them. The Basement Doctor had just the product for us! After 2 sump pump fails and flooding, we decided on a Gemini. Has two pumps, alarm system and phone app that I can check anytime/anywhere to make sure all is good.
Jeff, the salesman was wonderful. The installer, Santos(?) was very polite and efficient.
The only reasons I am giving four stars is that the first system failed and we didn't like how the server box sat on a tube. The installer called me as soon as he left that he didn't feel comfortable with all the lights being on. Jeff sent someone else came to install a whole new system. So that was fast service! Then Jeff helped us and suggested a fix on the box. A shelf was the answer and he came to make sure the tubing and set up was good. ?? We also love that the cover has a plastic piece so we can see inside of the hole:) I would highly recommend the Basement Doctor.

I think the Basement Doctor provides a very forward thinking management style. We were taken care of from the beginning of the process until the end. Their professionalism is outstanding. The crew that completed our basement was polite, pleasant and accommodating. The forman couldn’t have been nicer. We are very pleased and delighted with our new basement. Thank you, Basement Doctor.

I really like and appreciate the work that the Dr.Basement did! My wall they worked on looks so much better than we I first called them out,and they did a beautiful job. The workers were very polite and helpful.I really appreciate how well they cleaned up after themselves. I most definitely will recommend them to my family and friends!

The service man that came to us on the same afternoon that I called about a leak in our recently installed sump pump was friendly and knowledgeable. He fixed the problem in short order.

The experience we had with The Basement Doctor was great. We were experiencing water seepage in our basement during times of rainfall (not always heavy), as well as bowing walls.
From calling to schedule an estimate to the job being finished, everyone we encountered along the way was fantastic. Brandon scheduled the appointment and was very courteous. Our project manager was Brendan. He came out to give us the estimate and was prompt and even texted to let us know he was on the way. Brendan provided insight and gave us some options, as well as answered all our questions. He was also always available via email or text throughout the duration of time between him coming out to provide the estimate and the job being completed. Alexis scheduled the job for us and was very nice and considerate over the phone. Alex was the foreman on our basement project and he was always very friendly and worked hard. He was open to any questions we had and made sure to call us when they were on the way each morning to start work. His crew always arrived on time in the morning and put in a hard day’s work. Alex even made sure that the office refunded a service included in the initial estimate that was found to not have to be done. He and his crew also cleaned up very well after themselves. They put tarp down and tried their best to make a messy job not leave as big a mark as it might usually. We are very happy with the work completed and are highly satisfied that we can now rest easy knowing our basement will stay dry thanks to the hardworking team at The Basement Doctor. Only regret is we didn't call them sooner!

When their representative came out he did not try and sell me something I didn’t need just what he thought would help my problem. They put in a new sump pump and back up power and a dehumidifier They did a great job cleaned up and took away the old stuff.

I needed some work completed in my basement and contacted another company for a proposal. The quote was so high I was compelled to hire a structural engineer to review my home to confirm or deny the validity of it. After the engineer's review, I contacted The Basement Doctor. I could not be more pleased. They went through my basement for several hours with me discussing what needed to be done and prepared a proposal for me. Their proposal was very reasonable in my view, and I signed the contracts. The work was completed in a week, exactly as I was told it would be, even though additional work was required as a result of a finished wall being removed. It was very clear that the additional work had to be done, and I received an additional proposal which was again at a very reasonable price. Scott and his team of coworkers did an exemplary job, were very respectful and friendly to me, and treated the work as though they were doing it for their own homes. I cannot say enough good things about them or The Basement Doctor. Thank you for giving me peace of mind!
