The Basement Doctor

I had gotten quotes with 2 other basement specialists and found that Basement Doctor was the one that fit my needs and budget the best. This was the first time I have ever done basement repairs and I was very nervous about it primarily due to the cost involved, but the foreman I worked with (Zach & his crew) put me at ease and everything he promised would be done... was completed. I especially liked that they kept me informed as things progressed and thoroughly cleaned up when they were done. I'm thrilled with my (now dry) basement and I love how it looks. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks, Zach, so much for the great job.

Foreman, Jamison R, and his crew, Wes Joe and Jacob, were professional, efficient and respectful of us and our property. Turning what could have been a stressful project into a pleasant encounter. Jamison communicated at every step of the process so there were no surprises or misunderstandings. The job was so well done equals 5 stars.

This job involved a review of work done in 2003. It was still under warranty and part of the original foundation supports had failed. Those sections were redone without charge and additional supports were added as well. The proposed foundation work was also reviewed by a structural engineer. The work was finished in 6 work days, except the earth re-fill around the house must settle for a period of time before they return to level and fill. All of the crew were polite, on task, and competent. I’m very pleased with their work and the resulting stability of my house.

Jesse and his team did an awesome job. Enclosed two large crawlspaces, new sump pump system, and fixed / replaced my down spout drains. No more mold and mice. The air in the home is already better. Thank you.

On January 16th, 2019 Santos C and his assistant Christian dug my yard and installed a new drainpipe, and removed roots blocking the old one. It was cold and rainy with snow on the ground.
Santos came a week before and explained what they would do. He made necessary revisions when they came. They were very careful to replace my sod in place so will grow back.. He showed me what they had done and made sure I understood. I appreciate all the work the Basement Doctor has to do to keep my home water free.

The project manager spent a long time with us. He listened to what we had experienced and what work we had already done. Looked the outside as will as the inside before giving us his opinion on what needed to be done. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in his explanation.
The foreman came a week before the work and went over everything they were going to do. The crew was with us for two days. Before leaving they explained what they had done and went over how to use the new equipment. The project manager came back to make sure we were happy with the work and reviewed everything with us as well. We have his card if we have any questions along the way.
Everyone we talked to on the phone and worked with personally were very professional.

The team was very friendly, considerate of dust, and mud and cleaned up when they were finished. I am very happy with the work they did.

Very prompt and professional. Every person who came out to our home from this company was polite, knowledgeable,and professional. Scheduling was easy and they did a great job while keeping the area clean!

I contacted The Basement Doctor after noticing cracks in my basement wall. I was able to get an estimate very quickly. The project manager, Rob F was very knowledgeable and was able to figure out a solution. The foreman Justin and crew were very hard working and did a great job. The Basement Doctor will check the basement wall again in about a year to make sure everything is still OK. This was a great company to work with.

We contacted the Basement Dr after notice cracking and bowing in our basement walls. They assessed the problem and explained the best remedy. Their crew arrived 12/26 and finished the following day. We are very pleased with the results and impressed at how courteous the crewmen were.

Our service was just completed today . I rarely post a review but feel I must, given the excellent job from all the employees we encountered. Scott took so much time examining our problem and coming up with a solution. Such a personable young man!
Today Santos came out to do the hard labor. He replaced a drainage pipe alone one side of our home. At the beginning of the job He explained what he would be doing and at the end of the job he walked us through where and how he completed the job . Again, he was very professional and meticulous about his work. I have seen many yards dug up and in need of a lot of restorative work when the job was completed. Santos manually dug a trench from the front of our yard to the back and replaced the grass once he was done and I swear, you cannot see where he worked. We highly recommend the Basement Doctor.

Just wanted to say that Jesse and his crew did a great job for us with running drains from my downspouts to the culvert and for replacing the sump pump and basin with it draining also out to the culvert as well. They were courteous and mindful to keep my in the loop as to what
they wanted to do to make it the best job possible. I have already recommended the Basement Doctor to others as well. They even cleaned up everything well before they left.
My wife and I both feel that their work was commendable! Only one thing that didn't come thru, they promised me before and after pictures to see, which unfortunately I didn't get to see but hope to.
This I do believe is a company that backs up its' high reputation in the business.

The entire process was seamless from Project Manager Robert F presentation to the excellent installation provided by Jesse and his team. It was a pleasure working with true professionals.

On Oct 26, 2018 Basement Dr. installed pipe underground around basement perimeter in order to stop rain water from coming in at four separate areas. I paid them $3180 and water still comes in. They said unable to install pipe under sidewalk to curb because unable to cut tree roots so put pipe at top of front yard slope. Nothing added at pipes exit, therefore water drained out causing mud on sidewalk. They creected it only after three phone calls.
