have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I was contacted by GE Appliances in Louisville, and after describing the issues with their customer service, they offered to sell me a washing machine at the cost of $230. I rejected that offer, because in addition to the original cost of the two-year-old washing machine ($550), I had paid $120 in service fees. He made me another offer of $176. This is unfair, but seeing as the best price offered to me by Customer Service was $440, I knew I had to take the new price so that my family could have a washing machine. These folks have really been unrelenting in trying to make a buck off of the common man, and also uncommitted to customer satisfaction (for example: I started my customer service request seven months ago). The bottom line is that their machine was defective, they charged me $120 for repairs they never did, and then made an additional $176 off of me. What is fair and just is to refund me both those costs ($120+$176=$296).

[redacted] my experience has been horrible throughout this whole ordeal. They sounded like they sent the tech notion and gave me a deal on there own accord, they did my . I set it up before Ms [redacted] even called me. I knew after four hours on the phone and many on holds for more than 25minutes that they would not help me. Thanksgiving is coming and the last time this happened we could not use or fridge for Thanksgiving and that was a hardship. Also Two people said the older replacements was still under warranty, and two said no. Lots of discrepancies. I am very upset about the way I was treated by such a big company. I will never buy a G.E.appliance again. They did not even try to help solve this problem

 GE is correct that [redacted] the dealer I purchased my fridge from did replace my unit fore but I still have a valid complaint against GE itself. In fact it's worse. GE specifically told me they would not replace the unit. One call from [redacted] on behalf of me and they did what they wouldn't do for me. That means GE does NOT care for the consumer but the big fish since they spend more. So that is all that matters Not making something right but how much money you spend with GE. I am wanting a true apology and for GE to look at its practices and change them. Someone that buys a fridge less than six months old that has 2 failures should qualify for a swap. It is very inconvenient not to have a working fridge. I will never buy again from GE because of how they treated me and especially since they can't bother to personally call me up and apologize. Sometimes admitting you are wrong and will change things can go a long way to win back a consumers trust. I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to buy a GE appliance. Social media makes that so much easier these days. I have been reading up on GE too. Seems I'm not the only one that had a situation like this. Some of these people probably didn't know to try and go through their dealer so they had to live with a broken unit and have it did over and over and over. Thank goodness for [redacted] or I would be living with a fridge that was broken. I know the fridge we bought was a bum one from the start because now that I have a new one it freezes way better than the other one and isn't making the sounds the other one did from day one. GE wouldn't listen to me when I explained that but [redacted] sure did.

Though my first interaction with the G.E. representative was encouraging and a solution offered, it was not followed through on and at the end of the day they reverted back to "lets be optimistic". No measures were put in place to ensure my delivery would be undamaged and I still sat at home fingers crossed. Luckily for me this time the washer was not damaged. However since the washer was finally delivered, I find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Yesterday I left a message stating that the refrigerator is still broken, I still don't have a working refrigerator. At the appointment of jan 18th the service man changed a fan on it but it didn't resolve the problem. He left his number so I called him numerous time and left a message so he can come back but he never called me back to reschedule. Please let me know what to do next

Please be advised that the unit is over eight years old and out of warranty. A GE Factory Service technician was out on May 23, 2015 and ordered parts and returned on May 30, 2015 and completed the repair.

This this this is just another example of poor customer service. My cell phone has voice mail and I have no messages from GE whatsoever . Unfortunately this is just another example of unsatisfactory customer service by GE. I do not wish to hear it further from this company as it is clear that they don't choose to provide quality customer service. Should my service tomorrow be unsuccessful I'll be seeking further remediation from GE.[redacted]

G.E. could not quote a total figure I would be charged for the technician to come out & make repairs on my "defective" part on my dryer.  We could not accept an unknown price to repair my dryer and consider this to be a fair deal.  We would like to pursue this unfair offer with G.E. and the B.B.B.

 I bought appliances that GE refused to deliver and install. I cancelled the order, talked to GE which by the way responded pretty quick when they got Revdex.com complaint, and we agreed that GE will deliver the order: install everything but refrigirator but bring the refrigirator into the house-while I will hire other people to bring it to the second floor and to install. 1. INstead of ordered by me GE Profile range for $1500 they brought and installed one for $800 - instead of [redacted] they brought and installed [redacted] - looks like refurbished with no GE stiker and number; 2. I hired people who brought refrigerator and installed it - the same time GE delivered it to my door -with NO PROBLEM to bring it and installed while GE advertised and charged for delivery and installation. 3. GE did not follow iys promises to install the hood - I paid to people extra for that.
1. Bring and install GE Profile Range I paid for, not the cheapest one GE substituted for; 2. Compensate my expenses for refrigirator and hood installlaton that GE falsely promised in its website and TV commercials and for what they charged money for; 3. Compensate my two days out of work that I was forced to spend while GE "delivered" the order: now I need another day in order to replace the wrong range GE sent and installed in my house

A GE Factory Service technician has been out multiple times to repair the unit and as of today, November 28, 2016, the unit has...
