offer.  The [redacted]r, ** Appliance,  **reed to complete the repair on the sealed system.  The initial [redacted] call was scheduled for 8/30/16 however the consumer rescheduled the appointment for 9/10/16.  The [redacted]r arrived at the consumer’s home a day early on 9/9/16 and the consumer declined the [redacted] because of wanting 2 technicians instead of 1 to conduct the repair.  The consumer notified [redacted] that they are now seeking repair outside the extended [redacted].  [redacted] has made several attempts to speak with the consumer by phone, but have been unsuccessful.  The consumer will need to call [redacted] to have the repair rescheduled and completed or accept the cash settlement.    Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance.   [redacted]

I have talked to this consumer and listened to her description of the spin cycle and confirmed the unit is working as designed.  This is what our technician explained to he when we ran a service call as well.  I will pass her comments on to our design team because she thinks the unit...

spins too fast.

They have called while I was sleeping.  I do not want to just hear "THIS IS BUSINESS"  Something is wrong when an $8.00 part cost me $236 with the maintenance call is EXTRA and not included in the bill as part of the cost after being told it was..

She also would not take down the replacement model information nor contact information. Should she wish to accept the offer it will be open until close of business July 26, 2016. The replacement model would be [redacted] for a cost to her of $537.79. If she chooses to accept the offer she is welcome to give me a return call at [redacted] between 8:00-5:00 EST to process. I stand my ground on the wanting the upgrade fee back of $600. GE would spend the same amount paying a contractor that I am suppose to find and be reimbursed for. As well as sending their tech out....  So again I asked for my upgrade fee back. We already spent $6700 on your stove.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation.   I spoke to our delivery agent and there were having trouble locating the consumer’s order.  They assure me that once they have located the order they will reach out to the consumer.  I spoke with the consumer yesterday 11/30 to apologize for the delay and to let them know that the delivery agent will be reaching out to them asap.   Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance.   [redacted]

and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Thanks for the fan replacement but the fan is being changed every one-two years, so logically that should not be the root cause of the problem. And when the problem reoccurs, all our food would ruin again and we will not be able to use our refrigerator until the repair.  We are requesting a permanent solution.

I'm very much aware that the unit was picked up. It was delivered back to me on 7/8 with the same problem I've had four times now -- a bad condenser that was replaced. These two units have now had THREE condensers each. I bought them in 2014. Furthermore, customer service from GE as a whole has been atrocious. At what point do we decide enough is enough? I am asking for new units to replace these. At this point, how much have you all spent fixing these bad units? How much confidence can I really have that I won't have the same exact problem next year, making it three years in a row? I paid too much money to spend half my summers with no AC and constantly on the phone frustrated to GE.  Obviously there is a problem with these units (at least, I should hope that GE doesn't normally manufacture such shoddy appliances). Just replace them. This is ridiculous
