GE left a message for me to reply...

to GE consumer email.  I sent the email on 10/27/2015, screenshot of the email is attached for reference.  I did not get any response from GE after my response.  I feel GE is trying to ignore my response.  Here is the resolution I suggested in my email.1) GE provides flapper ( material ) at no cost to me if the same part fails again2) GE pays this last labor cost to dispatch the technician, but I will learn from the technician how to replace the flapper, so that I can do it on my own.

This was not the desired outcome . Yes a repairman did come out and put new parts on the fridge . Only time will tell if the this repair works . This makes the 3rd time it has been worked on for the issue . None of the previous repairs have taken care of the issue . It usually takes approx. . 30-60 days before it freezes back over and the refrigerator section quits cooling .

I could not be more satisfied with GE and their response for rectifying this situation.  WIth help from the Revdex.com and Mr [redacted], I am very excited to continue my business with GE.  As I expressed to Mr [redacted], its not that problems arrise in situations, its the willingness and the ability to correct the problem  Thank you to all that was involved in resloving this matter.

I have agreed to replace this consumer refrigerator.

We have reviewed the consumer's response and our position remains unchanged.  We will be happy to repair the unit per the warranty.

I spoke with Mrs. [redacted] on 3/23 who had confirmed that the pan was received but said the cooking performance was about the same.  We agreed to refund her money for the range at this time and pick up the appliance from her home.  I've issued a check in the amount of her full purchase price as a resolution to this situation. Mrs. [redacted] accepted it as a fair resolution to her complaint. Please contact me if you have any further questions or concerns. Sincerely, [redacted]Program Manager
