For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.First, I am confident that *** never read the full Revdex.com complaint I filed because of her lack of understanding what it entailed.My attempt to reenact the events as they happened fell on deaf ears because she refuses to acknowledge the fact that the dishwasher is defective.*** insisted that this defective product was only serviced once in JUNE of and remarked that it was an INSTALLATION ISSUE not a LEAK like I reported.*** insisted that a service technician was NOT sent to my home by GE in NOVEMBER of after I provided her with the service call number given to me by the technician on that day AND informed *** that I had an email from GE confirming that service appointment.That NOVEMBER service call was ALSO for a LEAK and rebutts the INSTALLATION ISSUE theoryThis defective dishwasher has been slowly leaking for six months now.*** insisted that I never logged a complaint with GE when in fact, on November 14th, 2016, I spoke with *** at the GE customer complaint department.*** was the same GE representative that offered to extend my manufacturers warranty three monthsShe made this offer in lieu of a new dishwasher for the FACT and IN HER WORDS, that I had not logged THREE service calls required to submit a claim for an exchangeThis information was also confirmed when I spoke to the ** *** & ***'s customer service agents as well.*** inisisted that this "three service call" requirement does NOT exist and that she has no idea who told me this.*** went on to say that there wasn't a set number for service calls before they deem it to be defective.1-Why the discrepencies ? How can two representatives provide two different policies ?2-Unlimited service calls ? How many times will the technician come to my home and use spit and glue to hold my machine together ? Until the one year manufacture's warranty is expired ?In Conclusion, I find it amusing, yet baffling, how a $BILLION dollar company answers a Revdex.com complaint with a SERVICE CALL resolution which I AM ENTITLED to at any time during the one year of purchase with a call to the GE customer service phone number ?!?!Unsatisfactory, Unprofessional and Insulting.Should she wish to provide a resolution to this issue OTHER than what I am ALREADY entitled to from customer service she is welcome to give me areturn call and I would be happy to consider the offer.Regards,*** ***

Since GE does not have any compatible inch black refrigerators, and since your service repairman caused this leak in our refrigerator and has deemed it no longer repairable, it is GE's responsibility to make good on an appliance their repairman ruined We expect a refund for $3,(the discounted price we were offered for purchasing a stainless fridge for since you no longer have black option); otherwise my next step is filing a law suit in small claims court

Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation I spoke with *** *** today 5/24/and discussed his water/vent issue with his dishwasher. I explained that the unit is working as it was designed. However I did offer him a ‘hidden vent’ dishwasher
upgrade at a significant discount. He will take time to review the model/offer and call me back with his decision Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance *** ***

Top shelf temperature is to degrees, measured with different thermometers. Also, doors uneven. I didn't notice at install. I called my contact person at GE Consumer Relations. Her response was to set up another repair appointment for 1/28/16. There were service calls for the original refrigerator, with 16calls to GE She also opened another "case". The top shelf temperature problem seems to be a design flaw and not repairable

I told the rep that I cannot see why I have to pay $diagnosis fee when I clearly state the writing is off backsplash She all but told me it was from cleaning products which I told her I use mild soap and cloth after all it is a stove that is used for cooking meals I can understand a labor charge which I am not disputing I did tell the rep it was unacceptable but I knew the odds were stacked against me from the moment we started to speak since her arrogance came thru loud and clear

I just spoke with Mrs*** and apologized for the trouble she's had with her GE Profile Refrigerator
She informed me that she is no longer under any extended warranty but she was in need of repair again
I told her that I
would be happy to schedule a repair visit with a GE factory service technician but she would have to pay for the home call/diagnostic. I agreed to give her the parts at a discounted price
She did not want to accept our offer at this time

Thank you for the opportunity to re-review this consumer’s situationThe estimate given for the prorate replacement (top loader) is based on the age of the current unit and includes the cost of the unit, tax, delivery, installation, and haul awayIn researching further it appears that the repair estimate given was for a model (front loader) that retails for twice the amount of the model given for the replacement offerAgain, it was determined by the technician that was out that the issue with Ms***’s washer was not a safety issueMs*** is welcome to file a claim for her clothing with our insurance company, Electric Insurance, and she can do so by calling them at *** and referencing case #***The prorate amount previously given is what GE can offer for a replacement and GE does not own an extended warranty company to offer any type of extended warranty.Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance.Sincerely,*** ***

As GE has correctly stated an offer was made and later confirmed after another attempt to settle this issue with GEHowever, the offer came too late, their solution could not have been accomplished in a timely fashion, and the conditions were not yet acceptableMy new dish washer is being delivered tomorrowAlso costs were still tied to the offer, that I don't think I should have to pay, since the product obviously has had construction design issues that should not be subject to warranty regulationsIn addition, I am hesitant to invest any more money into a product that had admittedly major construction design errors at the time of sale and did not demonstrate a durability lasting for more than two yearsI have no trust into such a poorly manufactured product.In my complaint, I asked for compensation and articulated the requested sumAs a customer oriented brand, GE should have an interest in satisfying its clients' expectations and resolving issues caused by the company in a customer friendly wayMy request is argued in a reasonable fashion and refers solely to product-tied expenses, or loss of usability respectively, due to manufacturing issues caused by a faulty product design on behalf of GEIn my request, I am not calculating in days without pay that I had to take off in order to enable the service worker to come for analysis of the initial issue and later repairAlso, frustrating hours I had to spend on the phone to finally get connected to the correct person in customer service have not been mentioned yetAdmittedly, I was finally attended in a professional and friendly fashion, yet, without acceptable resultsHence, the request for monetary compensation is reasonable and fully justifiedGE as a long-standing brand with a reputation for quality products and customer contentedness surely has the capability to follow this request

Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situationI spoke with *** today regarding his issue of spotting and discoloration on the stainless steel interior of his microwave. I explained to him that the photos provided appear to show food splatter and runs from cooking
use which make this a cosmetic issue. Our technician was unable to remove the spots, drip marks, and discoloration. I suggested to *** to try a magic eraser pad. I also told him I’d present his quality concerns once again to our engineers even though they indicate this isn’t a quality issue. I will report back to him if there is anything new that may help.
