GE's response is an insult to their loyal consumers and a big shameIts sad and shameful when foreign manufacturers like *** stand firmly behind their products and honor their client's satisfaction while American manufacture's refuse to stand behind their defective products.GE needs to admit to this degrading behavior and agree to give me a decent settlement of a new rangeAs a huge American cooperation, GE needs to contribute positively to our American economy instead of being one of the culprits contributing to our disintegrating economyRegards,

Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation I spoke with *** about his gas range issues and his safety concerns. I also conferenced in a GE Engineer involved with breaker issues and he suggested that we exchange his range at no charge. If the consumer
experiences the same issues with his new unit an electrician will need to run a dedicated line with a standard breaker/outlet to the oven. I have processed the new range order at no charge Please contact me if there are any other questions or if I may be of further assistance *** ***

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.When I spoke to Wendy I indicated that I did not want the hassle of disconnecting and installing a replacement dishwasher as I already installed this broken one and it took me well over hours I explained that I wanted someone to not only deliver but to remove and install the new dishwasher She said that would be fine as long as I do not require an electrician or plumber in my area to set up the dishwasher I set up the appointment for today with the company that was delivering the dishwasher When they arrived I asked if they were going to remove the old one and install the new one which they explained they were only given directions to deliver and haul out the old one which I needed to have ready and disconnected Delivery agent said they can install and remove they just need to know ahead of time and have the tools which they did not as it was only sent to them as a delivery and haul away job Due to them being given incorrect instructions I had to refuse the delivery as the old dishwasher was not disconnected and they said they could not deliver it without haul away I need GE to follow through with their promise on the phone of having someone who will deliver, uninstall, and install the new dishwasher completely.Regards,*** ***

We have agreed to discount the part required for repair even though the unit is years old and out of warranty

I wanted to respond after my microwave had been repaired, which is scheduled for this Wednesday (7/19)GE did immediately respond to my complaint and I assume I will be happy with the fix I didn't know I only had a few days to respond that I was satisfied.Although it is still premature, if you would update the claim with the status that the customer is satisfied with the repair, I would appreciate it. Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer's situation. I have spoken with Mr*** and apologized for the trouble he's had with his GE Cafe Dishwasher. Due to the excessive service on the (in warranty) dishwasher, I've agreed to exchange it for a brand new unit (which will

I just spoke with Ms*** again today and have agreed to waive the cost of the trip fee ($99) from GE as long as she can provide a receipt of her local repairman's recent service visit on this applianceShe is going to call me the week of the 23rd to schedule service with a certified General Electric technician. If the same part is needed that was replaced in 2014, I agreed to waive the cost of that part. She would pay labor only. The following is my response and related attachments:On Tuesday March at 2:pm I received a call from *** *** with GE (###-###-####) She said she was calling in response to my dispute over payment for a refrigerator repair She simply said, "GE believes the charge was appropriate" I asked if she had the information I sent the Revdex.com which included the chronological information initially sent to *** credit card company about the repairman's failure to fix the refrigerator and GE's fraudulent statement that I signed an invoice showing authorization and agreement of charges She said that information was with GE accounts payable and she didn't have the information It was clear to me she was going through the motions, simply to say she called me and report back to the Revdex.com that she'd called It seems this matter has now moved on to a different department within GE and no one is properly addressing my concerns as set out in the complaint It's especially distressing considering the hundreds of Revdex.com complaints about GE just in the past year, the majority relating to service type issues like mine Although none that I've seen allege outright fraud with GE wherein GE has stated in a letter that they have a signed invoice dated January 5, showing authorization and agreement of charges and they've provided a copy (attached) of an undated piece of paper which they are apparently saying is my signature. This is not my signature and the proof it's fraudulent is the fact that the charge of $was charged to my credit card on December 25, 2015! Please note the letter from GE dated January 19, wherein GE representative, Heather McIntyre states in the second paragraph of the letter, "I have attached the SIGNED invoice showing authorization and agreement of charges." This is blatant fraud by GE.I'd like to amend my initial complaint to show GE visited my house times Ms*** had no record of the first visit to my house on December 19, She did have record of a visit on January 2, 2016, the fourth visit, which I had forgotten about So in summary GE technicians visited my house times, December 19 to diagnose the problem, December 24 to replace the part they determined was defective and charged me for, December 28 to recheck when the part they billed me for and replaced didn't fix the problem only to say the problem now was dirty coils, then again on January 2 to again say it was dirty coils.I see now that Ms*** has responded to the Revdex.com Never once in my conversation of minutes with Ms*** or with any one else with GE did they ever mention the age of the refrigerator before charging me over $to fix it Now she repeats that reason in her response to you GE has taken my money and done nothing in return and now they have committed fraud in their attempt to keep my money and dispute their incompetence.*** ***_____________________________________________________________________________... is another attachment I meant to send with the other two I am continuing to pursue this with *** because of the fraudulent allegation of my signature on the credit authorization AFTER the charge was sent through by *** Please be clear, I gave my credit card by phone to GE on December 19, so they could order the part and perform the repair GE has now created an invoice dated January 5, showing charges and an alleged signature authorizing those charges

GE Appliances has finally picked up the washer/dryer and given us a check for the amount we paid We firmly believe that the only way that was accomplished was through the efforts of the Revdex.com Thank you

GE Appliances should not be allowed to conduct consumer sales Their employees have been trained to treat senior customers as children Their bold face lies would make a politician envious. In the course of one full year, my wife spent twenty-four hours on the phone, with more than half of that time on “hold” They sent technicians from three different “service” organizations The technician from GE Appliances walked in the door and described the black marks on our clothes without seeing them He did not even try to diagnose the problem GE Appliances may have known about the problem with this model washer/dryer before we made the original purchase And *** may have been a party to cover-up.*** & *** ***

We offered to discount service but the consumer only wants service only if it is free. I did not agree to that. The unit came with a one year warranty that would cover any and all repairs but it is now years old. The consumer claims the unit started
malfunctioning from the start but never called us to request service even though he had one complete year to reach out to us
