I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
I would like to know just what level of internet service costs $75/month? I paid the bill I owed for November ($40/month for internet ONLY as I CANCELED your service - I sent the records of that) and DECEMBER (which was $40/month for internet ONLY). Cincinnati Bell, true to form, is DOUBLE BILLING me for SERVICES I DID NOT RECEIVE. This seems to be go-to plan - double bill and hope nobody notices or complains. The bill I received (and sent you a copy of) was a bill for FEBRUARY and MARCH. I am NOT paying for services I did NOT RECEIVE. I'm not the only person you've billed for services I haven't received - there are plenty of people over at Pissed Consumer that you've continued to rip off. I will also be billing Cincinnati Bell for the numerous days of work I had to miss in order to deal with your harassment and failure to provide the service I was paying for in October and November. There were at LEAST THREE service calls to my house that I had to take off work for and still you failed to provide a fix for the outage of my landline OR my internet. I had to CANCEL my home phone and reorder CHECKS with a new phone number because my landline was no longer useable because of YOUR failure to provide service. The [redacted] can deal with you from here on out. I've formally submitted my complaint to them as well.
Regards,

RE: CBT Account# ###-###-####, [redacted]
I am responding to the Revdex.com rebuttal that you filed
I have reviewed the notes on your account and you were sent a receipt for your order [redacted] for changes that were made effective 12-31-14. The amount of the receipt was $123.45 plus taxes and surcharges. The quote that was emailed to you for this account did not have whole home dvr. Also there was no long distance on this account at this time it was just TV and internet.
On 4-9-15 an order was placed [redacted] for phone, internet and TV. The total price of this was quoted as $138.87 a month plus tax and surcharge. This did include long distance and dvr service not whole home dvr if you want whole home dvr that can be added at 19.99 a month. Please call ###-###-#### to add whole home DVR.
If your long distance is not working you need to call Cincinnati Bell Any Distance Repair @ ###-###-#### because you do have long distance on your account.
You mentioned a referral credit, who did you refer? I need there account # and they had to mention you on the date the service was ordered to get the credit.
It is never Cincinnati Bell’s intention to upset or frustrate our customers. On behalf of Cincinnati Bell, I apologize if you feel we have done so in this matter.

After review & investigation, credit authorization is denied. The services are working and the customer has stated he has chosen to port service out to another provider.
I contacted the risk office Cincinnati bell directed me to buy they would not assist. Was supposed to send out adjustor and never did. All they did was ask the employee cinn bell sent and he said he didn't move bed. So they just took his word even though we sent all pictures of damage. No One can also provide us with work order done that day. The rep didn't leave one and No One seems to have. They keep asking reps name but we have no idea. My 84 year old father can't sleep on his bed now.

RE: [redacted]
Cincinnati Bell is responding to your Revdex.com complaint.
I have reviewed your account and notes. I apologize about any miscommunication...
or confusion regarding Fioptics promotions. When you added the Fioptics cable package the valid promotion would have been 2 months free of Max cable when you paid full price for the 30MB internet.
As a courtesy, I have adjusted the charge for the Max cable package off of your bill dated 1/19. This was the only month you were charged for the cable. I have also issued a credit for the $8 late fee that was on your bill dated 2/19.
This adjustment has brought your current amount due to $151.91. This is a valid charge for internet service for the months of December and January that did not get paid.
If you have any further questions regarding your account or would like to make payment on the final bill you may reach the Billing Department at ###-###-####.
It is never Cincinnati Bell’s intention to upset or frustrate our customers. On behalf of Cincinnati Bell I apologize if we have done so in this matter.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, I do thank you for the credit but honestly it should have never got to this level before someone actually listened to me. How I was treated by your customer service/repair department in the Phillipines time and time again when stating my concerns/issues is truly unacceptable to me. I am still pondering keeping my service with "Cincinnati" Bell. There are to many options out there who I hope would appreciate my business no matter how big or small and treat me how they would want to be treated.

questions.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. We made it clear that every time we call Cincinnati Bell, we get the same woman. We cannot understand her and she cannot understand us. We spoke with another woman in the company (we believe her name is Tina) and explain this as well and she promised to call back and she never did. They claim some Porting Team has called us. That is not true. It was that same woman again that has left us a message. They do not have any such team at all it's only one woman working the phones for any customer service home phone issue, and after setting three appointments at our house with this woman and never receiving a call letting us know they were not going to show we do not trust setting up any appointment with this woman now.

Dear [redacted],
Cincinnati Bell is responding to the complaint that you filed with the Revdex.com regarding your final bill and collection activity.
According to our records you have several repair issues and your service never really worked the way that it was supposed to. I was able to adjust all of the charges and have asked to have this removed from the credit agency and no more collection activity. There is now a .00 balance on your account.
It is never Cincinnati Bell’s intention to upset or frustrate our customers. On behalf of Cincinnati Bell, I apologize if you feel we have done so in this matter.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. The response from Cincinnati Bell that this disclaimer:"Limited programming available. Additional charges may apply. Functionality varies by compatible device. Only select networks corresponding to your package selection are available for live streaming. All functions and programming subject to change at any time." is listed on a page where a [redacted] box is clearly displayed as a device compatible with their TV Everywhere App is not a resolution to my complaint. Why do they picture the [redacted] on their site if it is not compatible? Are they trying to say it is a compatible device that does not function with their app ("Functionality varies by compatible device.")? Is that really acceptable advertising? I ask that they either make their app function on the [redacted], like they advertise, or take the image of it off their page. If not, they could perhaps put it on a list of devices on which their app DOES NOT work.

Trying to get a clear answer from the provider what steps will be made to fix the issues with their service I am having. What steps are they going to take so future problems won't happen not only to myself but other customers with the HORRIBLE customer service they have. When you are told a service...
person is coming out twice and nobody shows up or a call. Then there are some REAL issues. Do I really need to clarify more than that!!! Having months of issues and only credit about $60-$70. Whew weee!!! What a joke. This is what happens when you outsource overseas service.
I have tried several times to contact to dispute but they have done nothing but ask rep that Cincinnati bell sent to install my phone service. He left no work order so we don't know his name either.
I don't think it's ethical to charge customers for periods of time when you aren't providing services. It may be within the letter of the law. But just because this portion of your business isn't regulated doesn't remove your obligation to treat your customers ethically. I'm not satisfied with your response and will never patronize your business again.

RE: [redacted]
Cincinnati Bell is
responding to the complaint filed with the Revdex.com concerning
your Zoomtown speeds.
I...
have again forwarded
your concerns to our engineering department for review.
Cincinnati Bell is aware
of the congestion problem that occurs in the evenings when everyone is on their
computers. Cincinnati Bell will not be
upgrading the copper lines at your location since we are in the process of
replacing the lines with FiOptic lines.
Per our engineering
department, Cincinnati Bell will be upgrading your area with FiOptic lines in
the first quarter of 2016. You will be
notified at the time of the upgrade.
Again, I apologize for the
inconvenience.
