I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  It does not say anything about how they will handle their technicians not showing up for appointments ( or even calling to cancel them instead you sit for 4 hours) or showing up when they were told not to. I cancelled the appointment for today last night when I spoke to the supervisor. He showed up anyway with no phone call!! It was just by luck my son was here and did not have to be at work till noon. The technician never set back up our secure line. Had my son do it which took him an hour and a half and I told the tech this needed to be done before I walked out the door to go to work. Communication needs to improve!!!

I am responding to the Revdex.com complaint that was filed regarding issues with your credit report.
 
After reviewing the notes on the account I can...

see, we settled with [redacted] and adjusted $110.64 in February of this year.
 
According to our records this should be on the credit report if we settled.  However, we have sent an email to [redacted] asking if we can remove this from the credit report.  It usually takes 30 days to see if we can have this removed.
 
It is never Cincinnati Bell’s intention to dissatisfy our customers.  On behalf of Cincinnati Bell, I apologize if you feel we have done so in this matter.

This is in response to your Revdex.com complaint. Cincinnati Bell has reviewed your account.
You called into the residential call...

center on 01-19-15 and removed the local service freeze. If your new provider attempted to port out your number prior to this date it would have been rejected. This freeze prevents you from being switched to another provider without your consent. This service is only added at the customer’s request. You have had the local service freeze on your account for many years. Cincinnati Bell cannot remove or add the local service freeze. The customer is the only person that can add or remove the freeze.
 
Your new provider sent the order to port out your landline on 01-26-15 and was scheduled for 01-29-15. This order completed in our system on 02-03-15. Until this date your account is frozen and no orders can be placed at that time.
 
Your new provider only ported out your landline. Please call our residential call center at ###-###-#### and place a disconnect order .Your new account number is [redacted].Your bill cycle is from the 8th to the 7th of each month. Cincinnati Bell does not pro rate billing on video and internet. Your account is noted to back date the order until 02-06-15 as a courtesy.

Cinncinnati bell has not issued me a paper bill since the day I filed the complaint. In fact they issued me an online bill again (NOT EBILL).  I have been asking for OVER A YEAR.  I NEED A PAPER BILL  THIS IS NOT DIFFICULT.  I EXPECT A PAPER BILL MONTHLY TO MY ADDRESS [redacted].  I EXPECT FREE SERVICE UNTIL THEY CAN MAIL ME A PAPER BILL IN THE MAIL.

[redacted]Problem: Cincinnati bell continued to sabotage my Internet in retaliation for Revdex.com complaints filed. OR Cincinnati bell sells a defective product that does not work. They charge me an [redacted] ton more money for this new fancy fioptics but can't keep it on and working. Techs have been to my house multiple times, replaced lines coming in, replaced modems, replaced everything and yet I still wake up and have no Internet on a regular basis. Tech support refuses to assist and hangs up on me after multiple transfers. If Cincinnati bell doesn't want upset customers they shouldn't charge hundreds and hundreds of dollars for a service they can't keep working.I want to switch to another internet company and I want a refund of the last year's Internet charges since it didn't work most of the time.

[redacted]I still believe Cincinnati bell's response does not resolve my issue.  They state the details but still did not address the problems.  The whole issue occurred on 4-10 as they stated that's when they closed down my account and reissued a brand new one without informing me then the email address they originally had on file no one has ever told me that exists either. To this day I have never logged into it and I do not know how.  I didn't know it existed that's where they send their notifications to me?  This is not right then when I cal in they tell me I owe nothing because we are all looking at my old account.  Then the disconnect which all this was caused by their error and I had to make payment arrangements to come directly or of my checking account and they would not give me more time.  All to find out they messed up again and the first payment they were supposed to take out they posted to my closed account.  So here they mess up again and they call me and say pay today or get disconnected.  They still have not addresses these issues. They only said I'm sorry you are going through this, now will this be [redacted].. etc.  no this issue has not been addressed.  Mans great they credited late fees and he other fees.. hey they didn't even tell me they did that so I would never have known unless I filed this complaint.  Appreciated but the fees would have never been there if they had not of messed up so much in the first place.  All their response accomplished is explain what they did but it failed to address the fAct that all along the way in this whole process they did things without telling the customer that caused financial hardship and a whole lot of lost time .  Thank you

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.   How can I have a $31.69 balance on the account?  I was specifically told when returning the equipment there was no balance remaining and the receipt even states a $0 balance. Also, I have been contacted by a third party regarding the damage restoration, however nothing has come from it as yet.  In addition, the company has not responded to the issuance of any credit or repayment.To date my complaint has not been resolved.

[redacted],  you paid $350 toward your Cincinnati Bell account in one lump sum on 08/29/17. This covered you in full for the bills that generated on 09/13/17, 10/13/17, 11/13/17, and 12/13/17. This credit balance ran dry on your 01/13/18 bill, however; while it took most of the balance away from the 01/13/18 bill, it still left you with an $11 left-over balance. This bill was due to be paid on 02/03/18 and since the full amount was not paid by this time (payment for this amount not made until 02/14/18, after another bill had already printed), you were assessed a late payment fee on your 02/13/18 bill.Our late payment fees are $8.95 + tax across the board for all customers, regardless of past due balance amount. Since you have yet to pay the valid late fee that was charged to you, you currently have an $8.95 balance on your account that is due 03/06/18; if this balance is not paid by that time, another late payment fee will be charged to you on your 03/13/18 bill in the amount of $8.95.Should you have any further questions regarding our policy in this situation, please respond accordingly. given regarding waiving the modem fee. The modem fee on your bill cannot be waived or removed.
 
Cincinnati Bell requires our customers to use the modem provided by Cincinnati Bell. This is to ensure you get the speeds we can deliver and also allows us to troubleshoot the modems configured to work on our network. If you do use your own router, Cincinnati Bell still must provide a wired modem for your services to properly function.
 
I have documented the misinformation you received at the Cincinnati Bell store and I have sent in training for the representative.
