I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
The response I received from Cincinnati Bell is the exact response I received months ago. Due to my personal experience, I cannot consider this issue resolved simply by the representative saying that the note on my credit report will be removed. I will continue to check for updates to my credit, but until the charge has been actually removed from my report, I would like to keep this as an open case.

RE: Fioptics Account [redacted]
Cincinnati Bell is responding to the rebuttal that you
filed with the Revdex.com concerning the modem fee.
Cincinnati Bell stands behind our policy. The equipment fee has increased from $4.99 to
$7.99. The equipment fee is billed
separate from the internet fee.
After reviewing the account there was a receipt that was
emailed to you on 5-28-15.
[redacted] receipt created for order [redacted] and emailed to [redacted]. The receipt shows the 4.99 modem fee.
On 12-4-15 invoice there was a bill message regarding the $3.00
increase on the modem.
Important Messages
Cincinnati Bell is working hard
on your behalf to hold prices as low as possible; however some rates on your
next bill may be impacted due to increases in our cost to do business. We value
you as a customer and are committed to providing you with the latest products
and technical advancements, while maintaining the highest level of reliability and
service. Thank you for your continued business.
Effective January 1, 2016, the monthly modem fee will
increase by $3.00. For questions, please call ###-###-####.

RE: ###-###-####,898
Cincinnati Bell is
responding to your Revdex.com complaint.
I have reviewed your
account and I apologize about your billing confusion. Per our...
records on 2/5/16
you were given a discount on your modem and quoted a monthly service fee of
$55.30 before taxes and fees for your home phone and internet bundle. However,
there was a different $35 promotion on your internet service that expired on
2/17/16. When this promotion expired your monthly service fee went up to
$90.33.
As a courtesy for this
confusion I have placed an order adding the $35 promotion back onto the
internet service bringing your monthly service fee back to the quoted $55.30.
This pricing is good until 2/17/17.
I have also backdated the
billing on this order to 2/17/16 so you will receive a billing adjustment for
the service charges from 2/17/16-4/22/16. This adjustment will appear on your
next bill printing 5/17/16.
If you have any questions
regarding your account or billing you may contact the Residential Office at

responding to the complaint you filed with the Revdex.com
concerning converting to our FiOptics product.
I have reviewed your
account...
and found that our FiOptics is available in your area. When you choose to switch to the fioptic
product, all copper lines are replaced with fiber optic lines. I apologize if you were given incorrect information
and led to believe you could have both copper and fiber lines. I have forwarded your concerns on to a
Supervisor for coaching and development purposes.
It is never Cincinnati
Bell’s intention to mislead or frustrate our customers. On behalf of Cincinnati Bell, I apologize if
you feel we have done so in this matter.
Cincinnati Bell works diligently each day to better serve the people in

upgrades do not go as well as anticipated.
In the future, Cincinnati
Bell hopes to provide you with the customer service and products you have grown
to expect from Cincinnati Bell Telephone.

RE: [redacted]
Dear [redacted],
This letter is in response to the complaint that you filed with the Revdex.com regarding your CBT account.
An order has been issued to remove the tv service dated back to 4-27-16 when it was requested.
There was a glitch in the system that did not allow the 2 previous orders that were placed to be processed.
The next invoice dated 6-1-16 that will be due 6-22-16 will be correct. It will show the credit amount for removing the tv 4-27-16.
Your monthly charges are now $37.98 + taxes and surcharge.
I have placed a hold on your account till we get the billing corrected.
It is never Cincinnati Bell’s intention to upset or frustrate our customers. On behalf of Cincinnati Bell, I apologize if you feel we have done so in this matter.
[redacted] we apologize for the miscommunication. Your new phone line was installed prior to your move order so it was on a separate account. The person that placed your move order would not have been aware of the new line unless it had been mentioned. We can combine the 2 accounts and move the...
new line to the other account. The non-contractual monthly price for the phone line is $51.25. We can offer a price of $39.99 for the line with a 2 year contract agreement. You are being billed for activation charges for the phone line and internet. Those charges have been divided over 4 months. I have issued a credit for the entire activation charge $49.75 and $49.99, however, you will see the divided charges on the next 3 bills (approximately $25/month). The full credit of $99.74 is on the account prior to the charges being billed. The original contract renews each year unless we are advised prior to its renewal that it should be removed. This is in the terms and conditions that can be found on our website. Please confirm if you would like both accounts combined and advise if you would like to sign a contract for the new line.

RE: ###-###-####,[redacted]
Cincinnati Bell is responding to your RevDex.com rebuttal.
As mentioned in previous responses, Cincinnati
Bell emailed you a receipt on April 2,2015 to your...
personal email [redacted].
This quote was for $70.40 before taxes and surcharges. In September 2015
courtesy adjustments were made to your account, and our representative again explained
that you could expect your bill to be around $75, which includes your $5
wirecare, before taxes and surcharges. You understood and agreed. Unfortunately
we cannot waive taxes and federally mandated surcharges. You are receiving
$71.99 monthly in promotions. We cannot make any further adjustments to this
account, in terms of promotions or credits.
It is never Cincinnati Bell’s intention to
upset or frustrate our customers. On behalf of Cincinnati Bell I apologize if
we have done so regarding this matter.
Cincinnati Bell considers this complaint
closed.

Cincinnati Bell -----Jessica M. has not gotten back with me in regards to recovering the "missing emails".
Cincinnati Bell understands that [redacted] is not satisfied with the resolution that we will not complete work to her inside wiring free of charge but that is the final decision.A tech support rep misinformed her which we have apologized for but this doesn’t change the fact that [redacted]’s inside wiring and jacks were not working prior to adding Wirecare, therefore the work would not be covered under this plan. It doesn’t matter if wires are physically cut or not. The bottom line is there were pre-existing issues which Wirecare does not cover. We sincerely apologize for the misinformation but [redacted] has been advised by two senior technician’s and myself several times that the work that needs to be completed is not covered and will not be completed free of charge. With this final response from Cincinnati Bell we consider this complaint closed with the Revdex.com. Thanks, Tina Cincinnati Bell Executive Office

received call from low level tech that again provided incorrect information. Still have dynamic IP address. I am at least 6 calls and over 200 minutes on the phone and still paying for a static IP address that I have not had since August/ September. This is a result of a mistake your organization made last fall (changing my ip and service). At this point I'm not so much concerned about the overcharges and poor customer service as I am about getting my static ip back. I travel a lot for work and require access to my computers when onsite with clients. I would gladly trade all the discounts/credits you gave me for the static ip I am paying for.

RE: ###-###-####,[redacted]
Cincinnati Bell is responding to your Revdex.com complaint
I have reviewed your account and billing. Currently you have a bundle including Homepak Advantage w/ Unlimited...
Long Distance, and 10MB Fioptics Internet for $48.33 per month before taxes and fees. This price was offered to you on 8/1/16.
Prior to 8/1/16 your monthly service fee was $58.29 before taxes and fees. Your bills were also frequently fluctuating due to directory assistance fees, late fees, and carry over balances. You were also billed $25 on your 6/10/16 statement for the installation of a new phone jack.
The adjustments you have received since June total $39.94. These adjustments covered the charge for the new jack installation ($25), one month’s late fee ($8.95), and one month’s modem fee ($5.99). These adjustments were done as a courtesy.
Your most current statement printed on 8/10/16 for $66.07. There is a carryover balance of $13.80 from the previous bill and an $8.95 late fee on the bill. These charges are valid and the due date is 8/31/16.
If you make payment in full by the due date your next statement will reflect your $48.33 monthly service fee and will not have a late fee or carry over balance. Please remember if you make any changes to your account or make any calls into directory assistance these will reflect on the next month’s bill.
If you have any further questions regarding your account or billing you can reach the Residential Customer Service Center at ###-###-####.
