February 24, 2016 [redacted] RE: ###-###-####, [redacted] Cincinnati Bell is responding to your RevDex.com Rebuttal. As mentioned in our previous response, you have been carrying a past due balance since November 2015. This is due to the fact that no payment was made on your November bill until late December. As noted in your complaint, you were unaware that your promotions had expired at this point, and were confused as to why your bill had gone up. For this reason, I waived your late payment fee of $8.95 for November’s bill as you had not yet had a chance to speak with our representatives as you were out of town. When the November bill was paid the payment amount was for $120 on December 28th. This was $53.72 less than your total amount due for November, which generated the carryover amount you are referring to. This amount has never been paid and is considered a valid charge. In reviewing your final bill I found that you were... billed for a Zoomtown modem and power cord. I sent a request to a supervisor to have the charges removed. An adjustment has been made in the amount of $128.40. The remaining balance of $50.12 is a past due amount. We do not show that your March 8th bill was paid. Please make sure you have your old account number when making your payment so it is applied to the correct account. I will contact the credit bureau to have the $128.40 removed from your records. I have received a rebuttal from this customerHe states in his response that Cincinnati Bell contacted him during work hoursThis is inaccurateI spoke with him on 2/8/around 2:PM and he requested a technical support specialist reach out to him a half hour laterHe assured me he would be at his residenceI contacted our Technical Support manager and scheduled a callback during his requested timeThey attempted to reach him several times and he did not answerThey then ran a speed test and found his speeds to be trained at megabytes per secondWe did not simply reach out to him randomly during work hours, he requested this time personally with me and assured me he would be available.I reached out to him today as well to schedule a time for a Technical Support specialist to contact him with no contactWe have attempted to reach him several times on February 8th, 9th, and today on the 11thHe is not answering the phone for me or our technical specialists or responding to our messages.Per our previous conversation, at this point I would ask that the complaint be closedI will respond and advise the customer to reach out to our technical support department through conventional methods at his own convenience due to our inability to reach him during scheduled callbacks.Thank you,MeganExecutive Care RepresentativeCincinnati Bell's Executive Office
