I am rejecting this response because: There has been no resolution, simply a response that they will look into it and get back to me shortly. It's been nearly three weeks. It is their stated price matching policy and the cheaper price was found on their own website, not a competitors website. I sent them a screen capture of their own website with the price and the date clearly legible. This should take a few days, not several weeks to resolve. If they have no intention of matching their own prices then they should remove their "price match guarantee" from their website. It is advertising clear and simple. Furthermore, while on the phone with a representative of their company, he put me on hold to "check the pricing" and while on hold the offer "magically" disappeared from the screen, but I had already taken a picture of it.
