Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I was out of town undergoing a very painful diagnostic procedure at the time this message came through an am just reading it this morning. I request that the case be re-opened. Should the BBB need documentation that I was in fact out of town and under the care of a orthopedic spinal surgeon, let me know and I will provide documentation. The explanation by Priceline is correct but leaves out the fact that the customer can select zones on a map that become highlighted and automatically check a box in the corresponding list to the left. I was clicking on the map, not the list. The Priceline representative I last spoke with ADMITTED TO ME ON THE PHONE THAT I HAD CLICKED ONLY ON “ [redacted] ***” AND NOTHING ELSE. They admitted they were in the wrong and still seem to think that I am somehow responsible for their computer systems booking error. My family just emerged from both a foreclosure and chapter 7 and cannot afford to pay for the mistake of a giant corporate entity like Priceline. I am in the process of setting up a video shot that will show me going through the exact same steps I made when attempted to book in the [redacted] area. Just short of placing the bid of course. Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Not a satisfactory resolution or responseI already pointed out that I was given this "line" when I calledJust because you're all in cahoots, doesn't make it right or acceptable This is a three star hotel at best (and that's what [redacted] has it rated as) It has cheap appliances, construction materials, fixtures, and furnitureLook at the [redacted] That's also a four star resort ( [redacted] actually agrees on this one) Can you honestly say that the [redacted] are the same? They're not even close The *** has a separate living room, dining area, full kitchen, bedroom, and even a walk in closet They have granite countertops, jacuzzi tubs, full, walk in shower with glass door, full, double vanity, plastered ceilings, hardwood molding, quality furniture and appliances, dishwasher, two HDTV's, etc They even have solid core residential quality interior doors And, the workmanship on everything perfectThe [redacted] has plastic laminated furniture, MDF trim, popcorn ceilings, engineered (fake) countertops and shower surround, a beat up [redacted] microwave, a mini fridge, and a coffee makerThe workmanship is also sub-par It's perfectly adequate My complaint is not with any of that, it's with the rating The place is just not four stars and I don't care what your competitors have to say about it It's obvious that this is an inflated rating when compared to a real four star resort in the same townYou run your business however you want I've used your service in the past and I've been happy about half of the time This experience, and your lack of a satisfactory resolution, has convinced me to spend my money elsewhere I can get a much better deal and customer service from [redacted] *** Sincerely, [redacted] ***
