Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: it does not clarify what a valid passport isWhen we purchased the tickets from [redacted] this is the statement on the front page"At a minimum some countries require passport to be valid at least months to allow entry thereto." Let me type to you what I printed off your website and if you would like me to email you copies of this I will because it seems your information is different than what was presented to me onlineYour website states, " if you are traveling outside the ***All travelers will need a valid passport and you will need to show additional documentation at your destination." Once you click on the valid passport link it brings up international travel and this is where your version seems to differ from mineIt says," all international travelers will need a valid passport, and may also need to show additional documentation at the destination and/or in connecting countriesIn addition, all travelers must have the proper documents for re-entry into a country (I.eCorrect ***, valid passport, onward/return ticket)For international one-way travel, proof of return travel or onward travel may be required and children traveling without both parents may also require additional documentationIf you are unsure of the travel requirements for your destination, please contact the embassy or consulate of all countries you are traveling to and connecting through." Not once did you clarify there are certain restrictions on passports like you claimed in your responseWhen we arrived at the airport we had all tickets to and return as well as valid passports as described by your websiteYour company refused to simply change our departure date and insisted on canceling the entire trip and rebooking new tickets even though our departure date stayed the sameWe contacted the airlines directly who told us all we need to do is change the departure date and pay per ticket but since it was booked through Priceline they could not change themPriceline refused to change the departure dates and would only allow us to cancel or rebook for 11,dollarsI have been to the [redacted] several times and have never had an issue beforeThe only requirement your website states is a valid passport, my passport was valid at the time and is still valid until the of this monthYour lack of information caused me to miss my flight and costed me dollarsThen I had to repurchase tickets directly through the airlines because they were cheaper than the 11,dollars offered to us by PricelineYou neglected to include pertinent information to your customers and are now living to me in your response, it's a good thing I printed off directly from your website the actual contract given to customersBecause of this I still demand a full refund Sincerely, [redacted]

What do you consider a valid credit card? The driver has a credit card but was not able to have a hold placed on his accountAlso, once you accept payment why do you require a credit check if paid with a debit card?Why when there is a reservation booked for someone do they have to present a form of payment to pick up the vehicle? If it is another company making a rental car reservation for an employee the company is paying for the vehicle not the driverHow is that any different for an individual paying for the rental car of their fiancé? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I would be more than happy for the BBB to contact the manager at the hotel. As indicated from the beginning , I never requested a full refund on the one room when I called to cancel, even though it was only 3 hours past the allowed time . The Priceline representative offered to call the business and ask them to waive the fee. Since I had just hung up from them and knew they would , I was surprised by the response from the Priceline rep. The fact is that Priceline NEVER called the business, never spoke to any manager there and NEVER. Had a recording of the alleged call. They continued to lead me to believe that if I could get the hotel to agree to a refund I would intact receive one. Now that I have spent many hours in the phone and email proving the hotel in fact is happy to have Priceline refund the money, the response now changes to "read the cancelation policy ". Thank you to everyone at the BBB for the time spent helping in this matter . It appears that Priceline is running a shoddy practice and rewrds it's employees if they lie to their customers .
