Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I have attempted to contact [redacted] Airways at (312)843-but every time I try their offices are closedTheir hours are am to 3pmI last tried on 7/28/at 2:09pm and their automated message stated they were already closed for the dayI have the phone records detailing thisAlso ,it is now greater than weeks (actually days) since I originally contacted Priceline for the refund on June 3rdObviously , the executive offices are disregarding their original verbal agreement of to weeks for a refund and now are not honoring their to weeks for a refundI really am upset that they can continually delay the refund by repetitively stating it can take up to weeks when that time frame has already been exceeded It is shamefulHopefully with the Revdex.com and some other interventions I will get a more respectable response Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:this incident is essential bait and switchPriceline advertises that the benefit of "naming your own price" is that you'll get bigger savingsStill, when bidding for this service that car model dictates the likelihood of you bid being acceptedI chose a mid-suv which is naturally more expensive to rent than a standard sedanI bid accordingly and appropriately for a mid-size SUVIf I were bidding for a standard sedan I would have bid considerable lower, and most likely (as I have happen in the past) would have the lower price accepted for the sedanIf this practice by ***, and the laissez faire approach of priceline after the fact is allowed to continue this practice will undoubtedly become a largest consumer fraud issueIn its current state, priceline is enabling car rental companies to charge higher fees for lower tier cars while advertising that the consumer is actually getting a bargain In short, I had a winning paid bid for a mid-size SUV, was told no SUV was available on day of delivery and told I would get a full-size sedan instead (which was a lie), and actually received a standard sedan (I overpaid for this rental)I reject this response as the formal email received from priceline relaying a message from [redacted] was not of a apologetic or reconciliatory tone but rather [redacted] will offer a minuscule credit "out of good will" completely abandoning responsibility and willful negligence of consumer law Sincerely, [redacted]
