I requested roofing services on 1/due to signs of water leaks on my second floor bedroomAppointment was set to 2/by FNHWMultiple rain storms occurred in the weeks leading to 1/when I again requested roofing services, noting a sense of urgency due to expanding water damage that now includes the first floor bathroomDespite the graveness of my situation, appointment was again set to 2/8, not negotiable1/early morning powerful rain storm went thru my area, water was visibly running down the walls, from the second floor bedroom to the first floor bathroomI called a local roofer to investigate and found the top covering of the chimney has been ripped off, leaving a completely open channel for the rains to come into the houseLocal roofer made the necessary repairs to cover the chimneyI wrote to FNHW about this incident and never got a responseI'm seeking compensation from FNHW to cover the local roofer service call and expected cost for fixing the water damageI bel

Okay people, I would pick some place better to do your businessHeater went out, set up a request and paid the bucksThe guy gets dispatched and come out, takes a tool out and check the amp to the heater, claims it not the heater and that its the circuit breakerhours later I get a call from Fidelity claiming that its not covered by my warranty and we are keeping the $for literally minutes of workWarranty is up in two months, and I'm switching from these low lifesA+ is a joke rating!!!

We purchased a home on Feb 28,Our AC unit went out about months after buying our homeWe went through our home owners insurance fidelityThey quickly denied us a new unit long story short after fighting it they over turned the denial and agreed to get us a new unit with the condition of us paying for the labor cost which was about *** out of pocketWe were not happy about it but desprate and paid for itWell months after the new unit got installed it went out on usWe contacted fidelity paid our ** dollar fee for someone to come out to tell us it is no longer workingThe compressor and the coil went bad! August is the day our AC unit went out it is now Oct and we have been out of our home (my husband,I and ourchildren) we keep getting the run around and nothing is getting doneWe feel like we have been slapped in the face by fidelity and forgotten aboutWe desperately want our AC unit fixed and want to be back homeWe are to the point where we are

I went online to submit a claim for a leaky faucet, but the website would not allow me to select plumbing for some reason I had to call a number listed on the website I have spent the last hour on the phone trying to submit said claim for a leaky faucet The first minutes were on a loop of advertisements: A cruise line, Direct TV, TMobile, Car Insurance, Dish Network, another Cruise, and a Singles website At each stage, I had to listen to the ENTIRE advertisement, then press # to NOT go to that company's representative At the end of all of this, I was told the phone number for my area had changed I called the NEW number and had to go through all of this again Finally I got to where she (phone robot) asked my city and state, and times (I tally marked) I stated my city and state, and times she said she could not understand me Finally she got it on try # Then I had to state my last name with the first letters spelled out This one she actually could not EVER understand, and the computer ended up determining I did not have an account with them since they could not find my last name in about tries of OTHER last names with my same letters There was no end to this madness I ended up filing online with a fake claim for my garbage disposal just so I could get a service call number Unbelievable

Every time I have contacted this company, I have had an issue with the contractors they useThe electrician left garbage in the house, the A/C guy walked in looked at my unit and stated he didn't repair them, then they suspended by contract for work not covered or performedThe plumber came out and did half the job then reported incorrectly that the other half of the job had rust so the company denied the repair which is a safety issueEvery time I have called them, they tell me something else isn't coveredThe contractors they use are absolutely horribleThey suspended my contract for non-payment on the plumbing issue on 12/when I didn't find out from them until 1/2/that the other half of the job was deniedI had made several phone calls to them from the beginning of December to find out why the job had not been completed and they stated the plumber had not submitted the paperwork to complete the jobMeanwhile suspending my contract without notification of the job being de

I am extremely frustrated with FidelityI had a very minor problem with my microwaveThe person sent broke off another part of the microwave, and we then had to wait for over a week for the part to come inThat entire time, no working microwave even though before that person came out it was working some of the timeHe finally came and "fixed" it but later that day the entire until shut off and no longer had any power coming to itThe claim was reopened; however, it has now been over weeks total and still no working microwaveActually, this is going on week We have called the person three times to follow up and been told the part is still not hereMeanwhile he has never reached out to us, we have always calledAnd how does he know what part to order when he never even came back out to look at the microwave!? I just want a working microwaveWhy is that so difficult? I have called fidelity times and they could not seem to care any lessThey just keep saying the same thing

years with themReferred several friends and familyNever experienced anything like what I have read in negative reviewsOn a few occasions I had to deal with supervisors on issues, but they were quickly resolved I do not buy into those complaints I made the mistake of getting Choice Home Warranty on one of my homesThat company I will never use again

Hi, The main circuit breaker at my house is not workingWhich seems like a safety issue to meFortunately it is covered under my home warrantyIn November I contacted my warranty company (Fidelity Nation Home Warranty) and they sent *** *** to inspect my circuit breaker*** *** inspected the circuit and confirmed it needed to be replacedI was charged my deductible for the serviceSince then I have called *** *** dozens of times and they have never replaced the circuit breaker (8-months later)I contacted my insurance company and they called *** *** who claims they did the work in december last yearThis seems like fraud

I have had bad experiences with this companyBeing a first time home owner, my realtor recommended this company for home owners insuranceWe purchased a house with a poolA couple of weeks we were having issues with the in ground cleaners so I put in a service requestPool company came out and before the guy even came into my back yard he stated your insurance doesn't cover in ground cleaners but I will still have to charge you $Two days ago of the unions that is connected to my turbo valve ruptured so I filed another service request assuming that the union was part of the plumbing, pool company came out and the "professional" stated that it was part of the turbo valve so that would not be covered again we still had to pay $I called Fidelity myself and after trying to convince the lady on the phone that the union is part of the plumbing because that's were the water flows through she called the pool company and the receptionist confirmed that it was connected to the turbo valve so Fidelity will not cover the plumbing connected to the turbo valveI am so upset and disappointed in this company I would never recommend them to anyoneI can't wait for this insurance to end, I don't know how they are still in businessOh yes I do know how, they take customer's money and not provide any services

Fidelity Home Warranty cancelled an outstanding warranty claim without my knowledge, our policy had ended, they refused to reinstate the claim in order to fulfill their contractual obligationThey are committing fraud

I have a home warranty with Fidelity National Home WarrantI filed a service request to repair my A/C and included the manufacturerThey sent a contractor out to my house to fix the problemThe contractor didn't serve this particular A/C model, and leftFidelity suspended my warranty because I didn't pay the service feeI disputed the service fee and told them I would pay when they sent out a contractor who could service my A/C model, but not beforeThey would not waive my service fee or remove my suspension on my warranty

We had to pay out of pocket for what company calls "secondary damage" which was caused by their contractor missing a plumbing issue they were sent in to investigateThe plumber did not do what they were asked to go do (detect a possible leak or a leak be)He failed to check the shower-head and where its connecting point to the pipe going into the wallThis would not require opening ceiling or walls so no reason for them not investigating it properly and as they were requestedThis contractor failure and fidelity lack of followup and support meant than within a week we had a huge leak from the very point they were meant to investigateThe leak appeared in the lower floor ceiling under the showerI had to call an emergency plumbers in over the weekend out of pocket as Fidelity failed to provide a contractorThe plumber had to open up the ceiling and deal with the sourceWe were left with a huge hole in ceiling and damaged/wet ceiling as a resultFidelity said will send in anothe

Fidelity National acquired my previous Home Warranty Company At renewal time I was told that everything covered under my prior contract would be covered by the renewal months into the contract I have been told that this is not true We were covered for improper installation Now I am told we are not covered for improper installation nor are we covered for anything that was previously fixed, even if the "fix" breaks The "fix" did not work A pool contractor and a representative from the Gas Company both told us that the gas line to the Pool Heater needs a pressure regulator It keeps burning the roll-out switch because it does not have one Instead of having a warranty to fix it like we paid for, we have a warranty that appears to cover very little If the Sales person had been honest (or correctly informed, I can not say if they knew, or if they just should have know) we would not have purchased the Home Warranty Having been sold a contract to cover something that is

I've had two interactions with FNHW: one for plumbing, and one for an ovenFor the plumbing, they sent someone out to fix our clog who didn't have any of the tools necessary to actually fix the clog, but charged us anyway We called our own guy, why fixed the clog in about a minute He then said that the tools they were using (a snake that is too small for a main drain line) is dangerous to use in a big line because it can get all twisted up and make the clog worse So here we were lucky to be out *** and not moreFor the oven , they sent someone out to look at the oven who had no tools He had to borrow mine to open up the oven, and then after barely looking decided it was broken and that we needed a new one They were supposed to deliver the new oven today, but nobody showed up I've spent the better part of an hour on the phone with both the deliver people and FNHW, and they don't care I've already had to take one day off work to wait around for nothing, and while now they claim they're going to come next week I have absolutely no confidence that they'll show up Either way, now I'm out *** and two days of work, with nothing to show for itThis appear to be a scam

Fidelity home warranties gave us the run around for weeks on our furnace issueThey told both myself, spouse, and the technician that they were covering the entire cost of the furnace replacement minus a $** fee which was completely fine with usThey then contacted us to tell us they were only covering a little over half well after the furnace was replacedThey lied to us and the tech multiple times and drew this process out over many hours over multiple weeksI went to leave them a review on *** and saw that many other people had similar problems and the word "scam" was thrown around a lotThey lie, then lie about lyingIf it weren't for us getting some money reimbursed, still hasn't happened, I'd honestly say this company is a scam

It sucksNever buys itTheir response time sucksThey don't care about your emergencyI had electricity emergency in my home and they didn't have any appointment for days and they were ok with us leaving without electricityIt SUCKS BIG TIMEDON'T EVER BUY ITFidelity national home warranty sucks

I had a warranty provided with the purchase of my new homeI did not renewI just had a follto see why I did not renew and gave the CSR a polite answer that the premium was too highAlso, I felt I didn't need itAfter being persistent beyond reason, and after I had explicitly said I was interested and "NO", before beginning to hang up she tried to slip in "then it's okay to bill you in six individual installments" to renew the insuranceLuckily, I was still listening and told her explicitly two additional times I was not interested and do not billThis is criminal and should be prosecuted*** ***

We recently moved in to a new homeWe discovered a leak in the tub when it fills with waterThe water is going around a drain and dripping through a light downstairsWe contacted Fidelity National to get someone out and take a lookThey sent a local company called ML PlumbingThe plumber tells me there is a rubber gasket missing and he has to drill a hole through the wall or tub to put the gasket inThe plumber calls Fidelity and reports the issue Fidelity contacts us shortly after their phone call with the plumberThey inform us that they will not cover this repair because it is considered a missing partWhat's the point of home insurance then??? The gasket is supposed to be behind the wall, how could anyone remove it? The house was sold to us in this condition but we are getting zero help from them in fixing the problemThe best part is, we were informed that if we don't get the problem fixed, they will cease to cover any other claims in the futureTo add insult to injury, the plumbing company that they sent out to look at the problems is subparThey kept threatening to make claims about other issues so we would have to pay out of pocketThe company probably makes more that wayI did my due diligence on the plumbing company and found that many other folks in my area had the same experience with this contractorFidelity Home National is a scam

We have been without functioning air conditioning for monthsAt one point it seemed it was repaired, but it quit working soon after and we are still without air conditioning sitting in 90+ degrees at 02:My wife and I have been without adequate sleep or the ability to cook at homeOur pets are miserableThis is summer in ***All along, FNHW and the local AC company have been blaming each other for delays and making us act as messengers between them and even the the distribution company providing the partsFollowing are my grievances about FNHW onlyFNHW placed an order for a part before they knew which part we neededWhen they did receive the information about the part from the AC company, they did not notify the distributorAs a result, When the AC company came to repair the part weeks later, it was the wrong partMonths in, getting FNHW to allow the AC company to get the part on their own took at least a weekThe AC company claims they asked for this option wh

BEWARE! I had been a very satisfied client recommending Fidelity to my real estate clients until a recent claim they denied for a furnace leaving my new homeowners out in the coldThe furnace was inspected prior to closing and although older, there was no carbon monoxide leakFidelity claimed it was "preexisting" and deniedDO NOT USE FidelityI am moving onto a company with integrity as their's is lacking along with any willingness to work with a long time customer
