I have claimed AC failure four weeks ago, but Fidelity Home Warranty still haven't fixed it yetI live in ***, it's degrees every day! Fidelity never calles me to report updateInstead, I have to call them every week and spend an hour each time to wait for a customer representative to give me one or two sentences about the statusIt is such a painful experience, especially because of my months old baby cry day and nightI feel guilty and angry, Fidelity Home Warranty is such a fraud!
Fidelity National Home Warranty is a horrible company to do business with if you live outside of ***The company makes no real attempt to add in-service vendors in other areas outside of ***We bought our home in *** two years ago and the first year of home warranty through Fidelity was purchased and paid for by our mortgage companySix months after buying our home, we suffered a severe sewer line blockage that backed up into our yard and our house by way of our washer flow/drain lineOf course this horrible issue would arise right before a holidayI called Fidelity's number to request a service call and have it listed as an "emergency" service callI called Fidelity early in the day, the day before a holidayI spent all day trying to get a plumber sent out, but Fidelity was fighting it because the only in-service vendor was over miles awayNow the fact that Fidelity has only managed to acquire one in-service vendor in my area is their issue, not mine! Why I should be refused a service call because they are too cheap to pay the vendor they acquired is beyond meI spent all day and all evening arguing with Fidelity, until it got so late I knew I was out of luckFidelity evidently has zero issue leaving a family without toilets, showers, washing capabilities at all overnight because they do not want to pay their own in service vendorsEarly the next day (the holiday), I began haggling with Fidelity again to get us a plumberBy the time I finally lost my patience and demanded a manager, and finally convinced them to pay for the plumber, it was not only holiday hours, but it was also after hoursAdd the cost of mileage as well, and it cost them just shy of $Had they sent the plumber the day before when I first called it would have been $Real smart on Fidelity's partFlash ahead to today (December 22) and we have another sewer line back upI called Fidelity at 4pm and finally lost my patience and temper at 8pmFidelity is absolutely refusing to pay the after hours/ mileage fees for the plumber to come and snake out my sewer lineFidelity still only has the one in-service vendor in my area and they refuse to pay mileage for the one and only vendor they have to offer! How exactly does this work? I finally lost it and hung up after I told the supervisor I hoped she could sleep well after leaving a family of four without toilets and showers over Christmas holiday and the woman had the idiocy to say I had threatened her, insinuating she should stay awake because I was going to come looking for herI have never heard of such ridiculousnessI live in ***, she is in *** and I am a grown woman and do not engage in such immature bs!
I am demanding the remainder of my warranty fees be reimbursed because I refuse to deal with this company any longerA company is only as good as the customer service they provideFidelity has horrible business practices and they employ supervisors that make childish and ridiculous accusations when they do not have a decent response to why their company is screwing over it's customersHow dare they charge me $a year for warranty coverage and then refuse to pay the only in-service vendor they have for me to use! That is just absolutely ridiculousFidelity also does not have an in-service AC/ heater repair vendor in my area, so I have had to pay out of pocket to hire my own vendor, then wait almost weeks for reimbursement from FidelityI am done with this company and I would suggest to anyone looking for a warranty company to do some serious research before buying you warranty through Fidelity!
On 4/the tech came out to fix our washing machineIt no longer workedWe paid $** for the inspection, in addition to our monthly feeThey said it would need to be taken into the shop to be fixed and we would get it back within 4-business daysThe machine was picked up on 4/We have received new dates on when the machine will come back now, the date just keeps getting movedMeanwhile, we have no washing machine and we've paid both a monthly fee and the service feeBoth my husband and I have spoken to management they say they can do absolutely nothing

The company sent out a guy the same day I called them (Monday)He told me and the company what was needed to repair and would take 3-days to get inThat was last WednesdayWe find out that the company didn't order the part needed (compressor) until this Monday - a week later! Why did they wait a week to order the part? They said they has to "approve" the warranty wrokI have been displaced staying with relatives for days and counting now in the degree Texas heatThis is a horrible companyDon't use them!!! Run!!!
The company failed to perform under the terms of the home warranty contractSpecifically, the problem with the refrigerator was misdiagnosed, the proposed rebuilding of the part (that would not fix a problem) would take at least weeks, and the company does not provide any assurances that after six weeks the repairs would return the refrigerator to serviceLiving without an essential appliance such as refrigerator makes the residence uninhabitable and negates the contractual promise by the companyIn short, the company does not offer a meaningful way to provide the service it sold to the consumer who faithfully paid the premiums and performed all the terms of the home warranty contract

This is my second time filing complaint regarding Fidelity Home Warranty on a separate issueTwo of the power outlets in my storage room stopped working so I reported to Fidelity for repairThe assigned electrician checked out the issue and decided we need a rewiring for these two power outletsAfter reporting to Fidelity, they immediately decided rewiring is not covered under my home warranty policy therefore I have to pay for the repair out of my pocketSame as the issue we had last time, there is NO indication from policy documentation that rewiring is not covered under my current policyThe customer service representative was also very rude and refused to offer any help in reaching any alternative solutionFidelity has a very loose standard on how they interpret their home warranty policy and it seems almost impossible to have them deliver any service which I've already paid in full when I signed up for the policyI only filed two claims with Fidelity and we have lots

I open an order for a service they sent The worst plumbing company, the person that came Check at outlet that was working perfectJust making a noise, he stayed there for 5/minutesAnd when he finish I don’t know doing whatHe said it was cause the water high pressure make that noiseI said it was fina and he leftWhen I tried to use the toiletI noticed that the water valve was closedI open it and find out that he left it close cause he broke something insideAnd now the water is likingThe toilet was working perfect!!! Just with a noiseI let fidelity know what was happening and they didn’t take any responsibilityAnd I payed them $** dlls for a service that wasn’t done and now the toilet is brokenI want my money back or the service done ASAP.!!!
We had an issue with our air conditioning unit where it was making a loud noise when it turned on and the breaker would occasionally flip offI called fidelityI paid the required deductible and they sent a service technician out to fix itThe technician said the entire unit needed to be replaced but fidelity refused to replace it rather, according to the technician, "put a bandaid on the problem." The unit still made the noise although not as loudThe following spring the unit was still making the noise still and getting louderI called fidelity and they refused to honor the work because it had been more that daysI explained to them that the problem was never fixed properlyThey said it didn't matterNow the unit is consistently causing the breaker to turn off and the unit is getting louder and louderFidelity has refused to honor the contract by properly repair a failed AC unit
I purchased a home with a prepaid one year warrantyThe home was inspected by a licensed inspector prior to purchaseThe inspector tested the A/C systems for function (i.ethe fans and units worked), but was unable to confirm that they cooled to a specified temperature because of the ambient temperature being low at the time of the inspectionAfter I moved in, the outside temp had risen and I turned the two a/c units onThe upstairs unit functioned for a day, then the fan stopped workingI filed a claim on the home warrant as designedTheir contractor repair service came to inspect the unit and found that the fan motor had failedFNF then denied the repair, claiming the unit could not have functioned at the time of purchaseEven after showing them the inspector tested the units for function and they functioned fine prior to purchase, they still denied the claim because of the "ambient temperature" statement in the report
Warranty is not worth the paper it is written onTrip charge is $which is fine but the venders they have on call are ill prepared and trainedHad their HVAC person state that the electrical power is the issue when an GFI was trippedminutes later, after I had a discussion with the gentlemen he realized that I was an EE and could lie to me and get away from an issueThree trips later and two service company later they decided that it is in their best interest to call the heater as a lost cause and need to replaceInteresting thing is that they call the customer and state that they can offer little money for the replacement and they make the customer pay for the installation chargesThey call it an modification fee, since the unit they are installing is nothing like the unit that was previously installedCrooked company and hope that anyone who has this warranty does not have the same issues
I have had Fidelity for many years and have had great experiences...until now Their authorization department is way behind and I need a new compressor for my air conditioner in July I was told that the purchase order would be expedited and that has not been my experience I'm being told that they will get to it when they can and when asked to speak to a supervisor I was told they will call me when they have timeWhat? I have small children and it's supposed to be over degrees and no one can tell me when Fidelity will send the p.oto the vendor to order the part I'm very disappointed and will no longer be recommending Fidelity to my friends Their customer service today was horrible!
We got a year fidelity home warranty as part of the home purchase and a few days after moving in the fridge started leakingFidelity refuses to pay for the repair
My bad experience with this company! My AC went on me on the 14th of May I submitted my paperwork to my technician comes to check on it It took days for them to sent a technician out Every time I called, "NO RECORD" is the key words they used on my communication with them After the technician came out on Saturday, I have to waited to Tuesday to know the status of their approval to continue the fix Tuesday came the "NO RECORD" is used again This time they blame on the AC company for not providing information for them to review the case They were on the phone with the AC company and asked for hours for them to review hours later, the "NO RECORD" is used again Frustrated me but nothing that I can do but waited Call the AC company and they told me paperwork was submitted on Monday as planned So another hours comes and goes(Thursday) "NO RECORD" is used again for the 8th times since the 14th I know that I am going to push around to have my AC fix If you are planning to buy home warranty from any company, think twice You will get the run around Do not wasted your money on them Spent money on your yearly maintain which will help to expand longer life to your AC and save lots of headache and money in the future by dealing with them
we purchase a home warranty from this company, and during my first service request for this year, for plumbing issue, they send us unqualified plumber to fix it, he fix part of it and the rest, claim he need spare parts to be order and never hear from him again, and during my call to the company costumer service they refuse to fix the rest because they claim that their plumber said its secondary damage to the water leak which is absolutely not true since the two issue are more than a two feet a part and on the same height
