We had the Comprehensive Plus Plan for one yearIn that time period we requested service two times with water leaksBoth were denied as not being in the perimeter of our house--yet both were foundation faucet leaksNow the air conditioner has been dripping water into the filter and onto the carpet--again we are not coveredOur estimated COE was Oct., Today is OctService was again refusedNo contact from the company until this month at which they requested a renewal of their service
We called due to our *** washerWe advised them what type of washer we hadThe first technician they sent out was not even trained to handle our washer and could not do the service; after I had taken off the day for them to handle thisThey sent the ticket to another company and I again took time off for the to 1pm windowAt 1:I call and am told that their tech had an emergency and they had just not gotten around to call me yetI call fidelity and ask for them to refund the service fee as a courtesy and they declinedThey initially said the 2nd guy would call me back in a day or so to rescheduleI told them that was not acceptableThey then asked if I wanted them to call around and of course I said yesJust got the word I have to wait an additional days before this 3rd tech can be sent out
Fidelity Warranty has horrendous, disrespectful "customer service" I had called to request plumbing services per my contract and when the plumber arrived at my location, they spent less than minutes and rendered no services and then left They informed me that no charge would be made to Fidelity home warranty I confirmed with the plumbing company that no charges were made and that a waiver of the $service charge made to me by Fidelity was usually made However when I called Fidelity after receiving the $bill to request the waiver I was treated with abrupt, rude, and disrespect I had asked the supervisor *** yesterday at 3:10pm to escalate my request and he flat out refused which is something I've never experienced I have been a customer of Fidelity's for over years at times with multiple properties and am appalled by the lack of regards for a loyal customer

I filed a claim with Fidelity at the end of September for my Water HeaterI just bought a brand new home, and my water heater stopped working and starting leakingFidelity did great at getting someone out to inspect the water heater, and after that things went down hillThey called me back about days after the inspection happened and advised they would be covering the water heater cost, except for the permit fee, the code upgrade, and the debris removal which totaled about *** I told Fidelity I would have to call them back and needed them to send me a copy of my contract that I never received from them in the first placeI decided later that day it was imperative to have hot water as soon as possible, and called them back to consent to the out of pocket costsWhen I gave my consent I requested to see a copy of the permit, the code upgrade, and the debris costs due to the high out pocket expenseIt has been over weeks since I gave my consent to the out of pocket costI still have no hot water, and when Fidelity called me to discuss after I filed a status update on their website, they told me the person I gave my consent to did not log it and did not schedule the serviceBottom line is I have gone over weeks with no hot water in my homeI attempted to reach the contractor they sent out many times, with no return phone call as wellI am very unhappy with the service that this warranty providedAt ***out of pocket and a month with no hot water because someone did not schedule the service is a beyond absurd to meI probably would of been better of buying my own water heater and putting it inThey didn't cover anythingI feel that by asking them to see proof of the ridiculous cost they were asking for the lady did not file my service callUNPROFESSIONALI could of got a hot water heater for ***and paid someone to install it for *** This warranty is crap
Disaster I have been a customer for over years, I have paid yearly fees and I have, and now that my heating furnace needs to be changed they will not pay for the full cost, I will need to pay for over $to get it replaced, (fidelity is only paying $1200-$1300)I tried negotiating and reasoning and they are not helpingThis besides for the fact that it took over a week and half to come to a conclusionTotally unacceptable
If I was able to I would not even leave one star
In May I filed a claim & Fidelity sent someone to fix my garage door opener on my newly purchased homeWithin an HOUR the garage door opener was again not workingA part that the contractor had screwed in had fallen offSo I called & explained what happened, that was obviously the contractor's faultThey sent him back out and we paid for a part, tat I don't believe we should have had to pay for, and now they are also trying to bill me for the additional service call deductibleI have emailed the company FOUR times stating that this service call was because of their contractor's error & that I'm being wrongfully chargedOver the last months, and emails I have NEVER gotten a responseThe rep on the phone told me someone would get back to meI always get the immediate email confirmation stating that someone will get back to me within hours & NO ONE EVER RESPONDSI now need another service call & it says my account is suspendedThis company is a jo
We were thrilled when we received the Home Warranty policy as a gift from our RealtorWe didn't have many problems that first yearThe website kept locking me out of my account, and they kept telling me it was my errorThen, we got the renewal notice and it was $more than the Realtor had paid for it originallyWe figured that the Realtor had gotten a deal on it or something and paid it in installmentsLess than a week later, our water heater sprung a leak and was spewing water all over our garageI called FNHW and they said they couldn't give me a time frame, but that they would call me to let me knowminutes went by, minutes went by, and my Dad finally stepped in and called Rotor Rooter who was here within minutesWe ended up having to pay the $service fee anywayNo one ever calledI had to cancel it over the internetThen our microwave broke and we called back to see if they would transfer that $to the new service order because they didn't make good on that original callThey didI talked to the representative, telling her that my account said that I owed $75, but she said to ignore it and it was saying that the service fee was $(which is what it originally was anyway)I just received a 'Fee Past Due' bill of $and they REFUSE to credit that to my accountIf I want to cancel the policy they are going to take a $cancellation fee, plus any money THEY have had to pay out on our behalfSo, now I can't even get my money back and find a different Home Warranty provider until next yearYou better believe we are going to pay the darn $and next year (right away) find a different companyI am so disappointed with them

Myself and my spouse have knee problem and for six weeks we couldn't use the bathroom downstairs and had to climb up and down And shamelessly they have sent an email asking me to renew the contract which is expiring in a month

On 6/10/I contacted Fidelity National Home Warranty to service my washing machine which had/has mold and other residue in the tub during and after washThey since sent out three companies to diagnose/repair (one two times)The first company said the washer needs to be taken apart to see what the problem is, but it likely needed to be replaced as it's a design flawThey said to get a washer cleaner (we got ***) and the problem should go away, but it didn'tThe second repairman took the bottom agitator plate off and cleaned what appeared to be mold, sm, etcand said it should be fine and to run more tub clean cycles, but it wasn'tThe third also concurred it's a design flaw and even if he replaced the tub we would be in the same situation a year from now and told me it should be replacedFidelity told me the washer is too new to replace (years old) and said to contact a repairman outside of the warranty to get a diagnosisI didThe repairman said it needs to be repl
Fidelity National is in breach of contract by continuing to collect payments and service call fees, but failing to repair a defective HVAC system dispite multiple calls and several workorder requests the unit has been unrepaired for over weeks at this timeFidelity has denied my request for internal escalationFidelity has lied directly about issuesFidelity has failed to act as required by agreement, taking money for services and not performing those servicesI cannot imagine why the Revdex.com shows a A+ rating for this company based on what I read on your web site, and personally experience

We had a clogged kitchen drainFidelity had a contractor snake the drain and a bunch of dirt came upTheir contractor concluded the drain had collapsed under the foundationFidelity wanted to use a camera to determine if a root had caused the collapseBoth their contractor and one that we hired concluded a camera would not work for this purpose because there was too much corrosion in the drainNot being able to determine the cause, Fidelity refused to repair the claim and also refused to authorize a reimbursement for our independent plumber to do the workThe independent plumber said that it was a very remote possibility that a root had caused the breakWe think this is an unfair resolution and an attempt to dodge their responsibilities to repair our drainWe have to repair the drain out of pocket ($2400)
