My experience is the worst of all time! AC went out in March and FNHW tech they sent said the condenser needed replacingThey replaced my high end unit with a Goodman condenserAfter that my house wouldn't cool over degrees out here in Palm DesertThe next tech they sent said the installation was horrible and that the Goodman was a piece of crap and it wasn't compatible with my AC unitIt was leaking coolant and he would have to replace the coilAfter several weeks of waiting, tech number two backs out of the job so FNHW sends tech number three who says coil needs replacingReally? Well now its late July, my home temp is now degreesMy art work is shriveling and the paint is cracking of my walls and still no AC because the part just arrived and the tech company cannot find the time until August After several heated discussions over the phone, FNHW says they have no control over the techs and their scheduleI said I would consider this emergency which I then got the same replyToday alone I spent minutes on hold and was cut off twiceThis is the most frustrating and unprofessional experience I have had in years of being in businessFNHW plays a game of waiting hoping you'll give up and fix it yourselfAvoid this companyJust terrible
My story is the same...long wait on phone....never even got an appointment for serviceCharged my credit card...waiting and waiting for a call that never came...then called Fidelity after being on hold for minutes...was told call the vendor...called them out to lunch.....called again....out to lunch.....this is now hours after my call to Fidelity...living in degrees with no air conditioningcalled Fidelity....waiting on hold for another minutesAsked for permission to call my own vendor....they were trying to find manager put me on hold.....still never found him....could not get an answer to get permission for my own vendor....finally hung up the phone ( was still on hold, waiting on an answer) Called my vendor....it is now hours since first phone callMy vendor put me up in a hotel overnight and came out first thing on Saturday morning and fixed the problemNow I am still trying to get my $** refunded and it has be weeks

The WORST warranty you could possibly findMy AC is not working for a week and they could not find anybody to come out here to fix itThe third party contractor they arranged scheduled to come and check my AC days after I created the request but they never even showed upWhen I called the FNHW, they told me to find an outside contractor who could come and fix itI did what they told me but now they are telling me to pay either $out of pocket or wait another week for them to find someone who "may" come here to fix itThis is totally unacceptableI have been waiting here in Texas weather with no AC trying to get a service from them

Purchased their services, paid the $deductible for dishwasher repairs, and the technician who came out to review my dishwasher problem came into my home, and was out within minsHe gave his recommendation to Fidelity National Home Warranty that had nothing to do with the original issueI reevaluated the technicians claim and confirmed that what he said was complete falseWhat he claimed was broken was actually working perfectly fineI contacted FNHW to report my findings along with the unprofessional services the technician provided, but instead of assisting with getting a second opinion, I received the most unethical business answer:
NFHW: "Sir, you can pay out of pocket for a second opinion and if you're right then we'll wave the deductible fee for us to send out another company to fix it."
Me: "But will I be compensated for the money that I spent on for the second opinion, if I'm right? If I'm wrong, at fault, and your technician was legit, I would TOTALLY accept the lose on the money I agreed to spend on a second opinionBUT, IF I'm right, will you give me my money back for the second opinion because the original technician who you sent out didn't do his job correctly?"
FNHW: "No, SirWe will not reimburse you if you are right about us sending you a technician who didn't do his job correctly."
Me: "How is that even legal? I pay for hundreds of dollars for your warranty, paid the deductible and in the event YOUR client finds out that they were right about bad services , that YOU provided, you will not reimburse them for their troubles?!? How is that even legal? You're telling me that the technician gets away with my deducible the I paid for and you won't do anything for your client?"
FNHW: "Sorry, SirMy supervisor already reviewed the notes and nothing further can be done on our part."
Me: "Can you PLEASE tell me that this is something you agree with, this is sooo unethical, in every way and you're telling me that I'm *** because you guys won't further review this horrible situation because of a horrible technician?"
NFHW: "Sorry, Sir, the decision has been made."
Me: "May I speak with your supervisor."
NFHW: "Yes, we can do that, SirThey will call you when they feel it's at their convenience."

Fidelity National Home Warranty acquired BPG Home Warranty, whom I have coverage from 9/to 9/Every time I called today 7/8/2017, I would get the run around that they can't authorize a plumber to go out to my house because they had no access to my contract and the person who had access is not thereWhat's the point of home warranty insurance if when you have an emergency they can't help you! First of all if you acquire a company and take over make sure you can access that company (BPG ) make sure to have the contracts accessibleWe live in a computer age era I'm pretty sure they can be scanned or accessed! It took me phone calls minutes waiting time for each phone call before I can get a supervisor to call me!
I submitted a claim for a leaky washer when I bought my house, they dispatched a company to come out and fix it, after the tech said he fixed the leak I found that the washer did not work properly, the dial was worn out and it would only run the first part of the Gentle cycleI don't know how the tech missed this, but I submitted the issue to Fidelity National as a recall and they had the company come out and replace the dial on the washer, it took a couple weeks to get the part in which is expected for an older machineThe kicker came when Fidelity charged me another $for the claim, even though it was a recallI spent hours and hours and hours and hours on hold waiting for someone to answer in the "Authorizations" department and no one ever answered, the system would eventually just hang up on me, I reported this to the customer service line, but it was never addressedI finally sent an email demanding that they re-review the claim, since the tech failed to notice the is

Fidelity Home Warranty is lackluster at best They should not have a good rating with The *** I live in Texas, It has been between and 103-degrees for three weeks This company is so incompetent hey have yet to fix my AC They never return calls or do what they say they will doCommunication is non-existant I will recommend them to no one
We had a leak in our spare bathroom that cause some minor damage downstairs due to the fact that it was a small drop that went unnoticed for some time I put some caulk on the leaky pipe joint to contain it while we worked to get the home warranty company to fix the plumbing issue When the plumber arrived, he stated that there was no leak, so he couldn't repair anything There is obvious caulk on the pipe and evidence of slight water damage immediately below (paint cracking/peeling slight spots on the ceiling) He left without addressing the pipe joint that the caulk was containing When I called FNHW to request that they correct the issue, they told me that since the problem wasn't obvious and the plumber couldn't recreate the issue (he didn't try to remove the caulk) that they don't cover that type of repair The joint would have to be actively leaking for get fixed I tried to explain that it would cause additional damage to the house and they may have to then repair that, such as mold abatement and drywall repair, to which I received a response of, "FNHW doesn't cover secondary issues such as mold." So basically I have to pay for a proper repair out of pocket, or I have to pay for repairs due to much more significant damage and possible health concerns Once I realized that they would not assist with the plumbing issue that is part of their contract, I asked for a refund of the $service fee, which they refused to provide They stated that if I could recreate the problem (I.eMake sure the pipe was leaking), they would send another plumber out at that point to fix the leak on the same work order Will I renew? NOPE! I recommend you don't waste your money either!
