I purchased a home on 9-1-and in that purchase I also purchased the fidelity home warranty planThe next day 9-2-I arrived st the house to start the move in processThe air Conditioner was outWas not blowing coldI called fidelity and they sent an ac repairman to the house days laterHe said the ac had a huge leak and caused your Freind to leak out and overloaded the compressorHe said you need new unitsSo the next day I call them and they say this is a preexisting issue and my claim is deniedAfter that I sent them my home inspection that day the ac is working fine on 7-25-They still said it's preexisting issueWas denied repairAll I know is on final walk through the ac was working fineI mean this kind of stuff happensNo different then buying s car and ac goes out a week laterYou don't know when these issues will come aboutI want them to replace my ac and do the job they was hired to do
This is the worst company I have ever dealt withFist of all they stole my money when I ordered their product and also stole my service fee when I place a service requestThey do not need to be dealing with people either since they have the worst customer service and customer service representativesThey sent someone unqualified to my house outside of a reasonable time frame who wanted to replace my entire AC unit just because of a leak

Started using this company in late Jan and I have to say the service is not great at all
My first report of an issue with my A/C was on 5/15/and the problem is still not resolvedIt took the contract service rep 4+ weeks to get to my house and install a new coil
On 6/23/I called and opened another ticket because ever since they installed the coil my AC has been running 24/and cannot keep up and I have NEST thermostat online reporting to prove that the problem started to occour after the new coil was installed! Still not scheduled to be repaired yet!

I am not into my fourth week without air conditioningThe company has sent out two vendors to evaluate the situation, and both recommended that the air-conditioning system be replacedNow Fidelity claims it is awaiting pricing from the vendor and has provided no date for a remedy of the problemI call them almost every day and typically spend about an hour only to get no resolution

I recently purchased a property and was given a Fidelity Home Warranty by my real estate agentShortly after receiving the warranty I had an issue involving a small gas leak and needed a repair*** came out to my residence and identified the issue, shut off my gas meter and told me to call a plumberI called Fidelity given that this should have been covered by the home warrantyThey took my information and "routed my request to their vendor"Their vendor called me and indicated it would take one week for them to come outSince my gas was shut off, I had no heat or hot waterI called Fidelity and they indicated that I could use my own plumber and get reimbursedI called a plumber who respondedI then called Fidelity "authorizations team" and had the plumber describe the work to be doneFidelity denied the claim on the phoneI paid the plumber in full and then noted on my next credit card statement a charge of $** for a service fee from FidelityFidelity is refusing to refun
I've had a very negative experience with this companyWe purchased our home this last May and have had some issues that I've called fidelity to come out and fixFirst issues I called about was our top dishwasher wouldn't start and the bottom one would fill up with water when I'd use the top one and wouldn't drain, and some of the burners on our stove wouldn't igniteThe guy came out, reset the top dishwasher so it starts now, but basically told us to fix the bottom one I have to run it to drain the water out....even though I'm not utilizing it(So not fixed) He worked on the stove for awhile, finally said he needs to order a part and would come back and fix itA couple weeks go by, they finally call me to set up an appointment so I didA different guy comes out, tries working on the stove all over againAt the end tells me he needs to order a part and needs to come backThey have never come back! Next issue, I call about some electrical issuesOur phone jacks aren't working in the house, I had a question about our attic fan running constantly, and our central vacuum wasn't workingThe guy comes out and works on the vacuum firstHe tells me that there's a hole in the tube in the attic and he can't fix it so he tapes the hole and tells me it works nowIt doesn't workHe doesn't even try to attempt the phone situation because he said something about there's a lot of wiring in the attic and he wouldn't be able to figure it out or something, and tells me the attic fan just works that way and not to worryLast issue; it's getting cold now and I cannot get our heater to workI set up an appointment to fix the heaterThey come and take a look in the attic, tell me the cover is off and they're not allowed to work on it because they don't want to be responsible if someone broke it or whateverWhich okay, I get that....but they charge me still a service fee for them to tell me they can't work on it???? I've been charged service fees for someone to tape a hole, which I could do, to tell me that's just how it works and not take a look at it? No thank youI'm not renewingI've had to go out of the warranty and hire people to fix these issuesSo on top of there charges I have to pay the service charges for the things that didn't even get finished
