Fidelity sent over a plumber who removed some branches from the kitchen sink areaAs such, Fidelity does not cover removal of the branchesHowever our tenants complained of the same issue at a later time and I hired a new plumber to remove any roots from the pipesHowever, when the new plumber video scoped the line, he found out that it was calcified grease in the pipes under the flooring of my houseThe new plumber had to hydrojet the area to remove the grease and the pipes are now working fineSince Hydrojetting is covered by Fidelity, I have sent them the invoice on Monday 08/20/and they are not taking my call and have put me on hold for over an hourI am seeking to get reimbursed by FidelityThank youSincerely, *** ***

I bought the home warranty and one of my garage door opener popped open on its own and fried by itself when I was closing itThe contractor hired by FNHW came, a very young guy apparently not sure about what he was doing, took a few pictures and told us he could not do anything about it and left after minutesThe report he left us showed a broken cover and burned electronic board, consistent with what we observedHowever we didn't know that when he got back, his report to FNHW falsely insisted that the burned board was due to a power surge, which I was sure did not happenI contacted FNHW, was told that the warranty covers only 'wear and tear', meaning if you have something going wrong with your appliances, you are out of luck - FNHW only covers when the appliance 'dies naturally', which doesn't make senseWhen I contacted their customer services, after being put on hold for over an hour, I was hang up twiceWhen I finally got through, I was asked to have another professional to take a look and file a report to FNHW at my own cost, which I will doI will ask for arbitration on this issue and I would not recommend their service to anyoneI may cancel the contract depending on the outcome of further actionOverall, a quite negative experience

Fidelity National Home Warranty (FNHW) accepted payment for a home warranty including air conditioning system for a home that I purchased in August of month after taking ownership of the home, I had an issue with the Air Conditioning systemFNHW agreed to allow me to use my own contractor to complete the repair and provide reimbursement to me after I paid the contractor because they were unable to get a repair technician to my home in a reasonable amount of timeOnce the repair was completed and I paid the contractor, I submitted the required documentation to FNHW for reimbursementAt this point, they denied my claim stating that the issue was pre-existing, even though they had no evidence that this was a pre-existing issueFNHW stated that unless I could provide proof that the issue was not pre-existing, they will not reimburse me for the repairsThe only proof that FNHW would accept was our home inspectionOur home inspector was unable to run the AC during the inspectio

As of January Fidelity has been to my rental unit in *** *** ** at least times to provide repairs to a 30+ year old AC unitAfter they fix the unit, it stops working and it takes another call and fee to get them out there againThe multiple visits to the property lack of providing a proper fix is causing great inconvenience to my Tenants, Property Manager and Myself, that is not to mention the costs of each service call and the potential safety issue that this old unit may presentI have been with Fidelity for more than years and my contract number is ***

Fidelity National Home Warranty is a horrible company to do business with if you live outside of ***The company makes no real attempt to add in-service vendors in other areas outside of ***We bought our home in *** two years ago and the first year of home warranty through Fidelity was purchased and paid for by our mortgage companySix months after buying our home, we suffered a severe sewer line blockage that backed up into our yard and our house by way of our washer flow/drain lineOf course this horrible issue would arise right before a holidayI called Fidelity's number to request a service call and have it listed as an "emergency" service callI called Fidelity early in the day, the day before a holidayI spent all day trying to get a plumber sent out, but Fidelity was fighting it because the only in-service vendor was over miles awayNow the fact that Fidelity has only managed to acquire one in-service vendor in my area is their issue, not mine! Why I should be refused a service call because they are too cheap to pay the vendor they acquired is beyond meI spent all day and all evening arguing with Fidelity, until it got so late I knew I was out of luckFidelity evidently has zero issue leaving a family without toilets, showers, washing capabilities at all overnight because they do not want to pay their own in service vendorsEarly the next day (the holiday), I began haggling with Fidelity again to get us a plumberBy the time I finally lost my patience and demanded a manager, and finally convinced them to pay for the plumber, it was not only holiday hours, but it was also after hoursAdd the cost of mileage as well, and it cost them just shy of $Had they sent the plumber the day before when I first called it would have been $Real smart on Fidelity's partFlash ahead to today (December 22) and we have another sewer line back upI called Fidelity at 4pm and finally lost my patience and temper at 8pmFidelity is absolutely refusing to pay the after hours/ mileage fees for the plumber to come and snake out my sewer lineFidelity still only has the one in-service vendor in my area and they refuse to pay mileage for the one and only vendor they have to offer! How exactly does this work? I finally lost it and hung up after I told the supervisor I hoped she could sleep well after leaving a family of four without toilets and showers over Christmas holiday and the woman had the idiocy to say I had threatened her, insinuating she should stay awake because I was going to come looking for herI have never heard of such ridiculousnessI live in ***, she is in *** and I am a grown woman and do not engage in such immature bs!
I am demanding the remainder of my warranty fees be reimbursed because I refuse to deal with this company any longerA company is only as good as the customer service they provideFidelity has horrible business practices and they employ supervisors that make childish and ridiculous accusations when they do not have a decent response to why their company is screwing over it's customersHow dare they charge me $a year for warranty coverage and then refuse to pay the only in-service vendor they have for me to use! That is just absolutely ridiculousFidelity also does not have an in-service AC/ heater repair vendor in my area, so I have had to pay out of pocket to hire my own vendor, then wait almost weeks for reimbursement from FidelityI am done with this company and I would suggest to anyone looking for a warranty company to do some serious research before buying you warranty through Fidelity!

We have had home warranty from another organization before, and we were used to competent service and accountability
Not so with Fidelity Home WarrantyOn several occasions, they have sent out incompetent organizations to find a problem, couldn't figure out to solve the problem and only then informed us that it was out of scopeIn just one instance (a lighting issue), we then retained a competent organization to find and correct the addresses it and located the problem in a location that had been missed and was well within scopeWhen we called to ask Fidelity to cover it, they said they don't address those issues over the phone
On another occasion, our bedroom air conditioning stopped working in the midst of a sweltering summerSomeone came out, said he realized he needed to use a ladder and needed an additional person to come to address the problem and leftWhen we asked someone to come by soon, they waited another 2-weeksAnd then Fidelity said that we owed it for the first visit in which the guy without the ladder did nothingWe then were told that the charge for that original non-visit would go down as a denial of payment, affecting our credit rating
Fidelity seems like an ironic name for this organization, and I would encourage others to stay as far from this company as it possobly can

Terrible service Claims are denied by service providers (who have an incentive to deny claims) and there is no recourse The only way I have gotten anything resolved in my favor is to spend literally hours on hold talking with multiple customer "service" representatives I will never buy a home warranty from this company again!

I had a lapse in making an annual payment for home warranty in AugustA Fidelity National representative, called me late on December 4th, and asked if I wanted to renew the policy as of the following dayShe said I would receive exactly the same contract as beforeShe emailed me a contract I should receive in mail in the following week or soIt stated $** of service feeI received the paper contract in a week or soI only checked the number of pages, because it was a concernI had a leak in the bathroom, so I called the FidelityI was charged $**I looked at the paper contract, it says $**I emailed and called the same renewal agent, who told me that she had told me that the "coverage would be the same, and your service charge is $**." She argues that the reason why she sent me the $** fee contract to show me back upon "renewal" is because that's what's availableShe said that she wasn't sure if there's anything else anyone could do for me

Terrible customer service How they received an A+ rating is beyond comprehension Fidelity is a big name but this service is the the worst Constant runaround if you call regarding an issue and no resolution to the problem! No one has any responsibility and passes the buck to another department Seems the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing within the entire company Buyer Beware!!

I initiated a service request for my garage door that brokeThe dispatched repair person arrived without notice on Saturday at about 8:20am, he told me that he needed to be in touch with the home warranty company to obtain authorization after diagnosing the issue was due to a broken springI received a call that same morning from the authorization department requesting a copy of my home inspection report, never being told that needed to be provided when I initiated the service callSubsequently, I received an email noting the technician had come out to my home and unable to diagnose the problem due to things being in the way, which was incorrect and again stated they needed my home inspection reportI emailed them a copy on Sunday, July 30thOn Monday, July 31st, I called customer service and was told my home inspection report had been received but that I had to speak to the authorization department about my service request, as they didn't know the process in the customer service

I requested service on a faucet in my bath and shower faucetThe company they sent *** *** sent an either incompet or a thief who wanted to overcharge a yrold women for an unnecessary ans extreme service repairI suggest that fidelity NEVER use this company for Plumbling serviceHe made no attempt to loosen screw and remove handle to adjust cylinder

this company send me contractors that do not do good work they lied and cheated me when they did a plumbing job for me they had to come back and do the same job over ond over a they charge me every time they had to come backI was sent a contractor from** *** for my microwave he said the only problem with microwave is door is broken but microwave would sometime not heat up food and I don't know if its dangerous to use because door wont close I told fedility I felt there was more wrong than just the door they sent someone out for second opion but it was the same company and I was not home just my wife and she dose not understand so he realy took advantage of her because she did not understand also they were sopposed to send a different companythe last time they did a job for me they cheated me and told me they could not finish the job I was with out my shower for almost 3mounths when I speak to them and try to resolve the issue they are rude and completely unproffenalwhen I c

Since the fourth of August my house has been without air conditioningI have called Fidelity times in the last days and have had three contractors come outI have been told that contractors have been dispatched when they have notI have been told that parts are ordered when they have not beenI have been told that no more than two contractors can work on one applianceI have been told a supervisor would call me and no one ever didThe following work orders have been submitted: Aug to ***, Aug to *** *** ***, Aug to *** *** *** again, and one that was originally sent to *** *** *** *** on 2* Aug but no one ever contacted me and it was re-submitted to ** *** on AugMy * year old has been to the emergency room for a heat rash as it's been over degrees and with the wild fires I can not open the windows in good conscienceThe compressor has been filled twice and lost all of the freonAt least 1* pounds has been knowingly leaked

I have a home warranty contract with Fidelity In May of 2016, I contacted Fidelity because my garage door would not open/close They set up an appointment for *** *** *** *** to come to my house I paid the $fee *** determined that just a small part needed to be replaced and not the whole opener They replaced it and the garage door worked In September of 2016, the garage door failed again I called Fidelity again*** came out They said that the same part needed to be replaced again and that the garage door opener did not need replacing They replaced the part, it worked again My garage door failed again on 6/10/ I called Fidelity They said they would need to charge me a $fee for a company to come out and take a look at it Obviously, I have a broken garage door that is being temporarily fixed every time someone comes out
I decided I couldn't be strung along like this I called an independent garage door company They said it was C

We had the Comprehensive Plus Plan for one yearIn that time period we requested service two times with water leaksBoth were denied as not being in the perimeter of our house--yet both were foundation faucet leaksNow the air conditioner has been dripping water into the filter and onto the carpet--again we are not coveredOur estimated COE was Oct., Today is OctService was again refusedNo contact from the company until this month at which they requested a renewal of their service

I have waited full weeks for an AC repair company from fidelity and I still have a broken AC unitI filed the request online Sat July 21st, was contacted on the 24th for the first available appointment on the following Friday the 28th which was unacceptable due to our heat wave in Orange CountyI called back to customer service Tuesday the 24th to dispatch another companyThe lady by phone set the appointment for the next day the 25th between pm and midnightNext day, the guy does not show up and states he was booked up and couldn't get to me until ThursdaySo I waited and again, he didnt showI called customer service again Friday morning demanding an appointment and a manger, she said one would call me back shortly and never did! The weekend goes by, no call no work no ac! By Monday I call they find me yet another AC company who sets the soonest appointment for today, Friday Aug10thThree weeks now, the guy shows up and says he doesn't work on my "type" of AC unit, whateve

I called Fidelity on 10/4/after noticing our guest bathroom toilet had a crack in the tank and was unsure if it would be covered under the warranty and didn't want to waste our $to have someone come out if it wouldn't be covered I was told it would be covered, a plumber came out and looked at it, told us it would be replaced and would take 1-business days to contact Fidelity for authorization We waited a couple more weeks and never heard anything from either business I called Fidelity last Thursday to find out when the toilet would be replaced, and they set up an appointment the next day for the plumbers to come out After a no call/no show from the plumbers the next day, I emailed Fidelity to see if a different more reliable plumber could be dispatched out to replace the toilet with no response I finally got a call yesterday (10/30/17) from the plumbers saying they have an appointment time available for today to come between 9-2, so I went ahead and set it up I received a call from the plumber around today stating he would be at our house to check out the toilet, and when I told him he should be scheduled to come out and replace it, he stated he was only supposed to come out and check it and not replace it and that he would have to contact his office to find out more and would call me back I never heard anything further, until I called Fidelity at PM today and was told that the claim was denied because it was not due to wear and tear or old age as determined by the plumber who came out the first time When I asked why we were told it would be replaced, and why I was told it would be covered when I originally called Fidelity a month ago to submit the claim, plus hearing nothing this whole time, the Fidelity employee stated he didn't know why we were told that and that Fidelity should have called to tell us it wouldn't be covered This was a huge waste of time and money, both of which we could have used to replace the toilet ourselves a month ago! I will definitely not renew our home warranty with Fidelity and do not recommend them whatsoever, as they dropped the ball big time on this one We have never had an issue up until this point with any claims we have submitted, but I'm not willing to have to deal with this nonsense again

On November I first contacted Fidelity National Home Warranty (FNHW) because the heater in my house malfunctionedThey sent out a service provider, *** to assess the problemThe technician came out to the house and quickly diagnosed the problem, saying that the issue was a faulty part, so he changed the Capacitor in the system and was gone in minutesThe following day, the heater failed again, so I called FNHW again to let them knowSince the first service provider was on vacation, they sent out a second service provider by the name of *** ***Their diagnosis was that the system was failing because the evaporated coils and blower motor needed to be cleaned, and this would run us over $***They sent the service order to FNHW, and they denied the claim because it was a "maintenance" issue and not mechanicalBecause the two service providers they sent contradicted themselves, we chose to have a 3rd HVAC tech come out to the house to give us a second opinionT
