I'm questioning Fidelity Home Warranty's process in dealing with their contractorsThis complaint involve the contractor as well, *** Plumbing (search for that complaint)A service request was sent in on 3/14/to get my radiant heater fix and working properlyAs of today, 10/4/2017, my thermostat is missing because *** came back and took it away, and I have no heatI've call multiple times asking/begging them to help resolve this issue, and all I get empty promises from the Supervisor (John) promising to help me resolveI don't see any accountability on any level, neither Fidelity, the company that's suppose to be on your side, nor the contractor, they're not accountable to meThey *** off each other...I call ***, *** tells to call FidelityI call Fidelity, they keep saying we're waiting for *** to provide more information/update and they have no other informationNO ACCOUNTABILITY WHATSOEVER! I filed a claim with Fidelity National Home Warranty on 7/because our Washer was leakingThey sent a service person out days later who looked a the unit and said they were not authorized to work on this type of unitI called Fidelity and they said they would send someone else outIt took another week and this person said they it had a few problems and they needed to file a report and let Fidelity decide what to doI did not hear back from Fidelity about what action would take place next, after repeated calls and being on hold for an average of 50minutes per call, I was told they needed to wait for the report to be filedIt took a full week to hear back and upon hearing back they offered the option of a replacement unit of cashThe cash was a fraction of the amount of the cost of the unit but they said that was all they would offer, so I chose to get a replacement unit, however, they had offered the wrong size so I needed to fix that issue with themFinally I agreed to the u

My air conditioning went out in JuneFidelity sent a technician over who patched, added Freon and leftLess than a month later, all the Freon was gone, obviously a leakEvery call to Fidelity is a 40-phone wait for a representativeSometimes they will put the call through after the wait, but no one picks upFidelity wanted to send the same technician, ***, from *** *** *** ***, but I said we wanted someone else*** is only able to do minor repairs, not major workThey sent a diagnostician from *** last Saturday, who said the flexible tubing and coil needed replacing, and very possibly the a/c unitThe tech, ***, said he would report to Fidelity and they would call meI called Fidelity on Monday, asked to speak with a supervisor, was assured one would call me; she never didThen I received a call from ***, the original, poorly qualified technician, saying he wanted to c one on WednesdayI asked him if he replaced flexible tubing and the coil, and he said no,

I have been trying to get my dishwasher repaired/replaced with this company since November 21stIt is now December 26thEvery time they ask me to do something or submit something I do so immediatelyThen I have to call them to see if everything is approvedThey come back and tell me that something else is wrong and they need something else submitted or more informationI had a “licensed” dishwasher repair tech (there is no such license for dhishwasher repair techs but they say you have to have one) call them from my home and speak with them about my dishwasher but they have no noted comments about what the tech saidI then had to contact the tech myself and submit a report on the dishwasherThey do not properly take care of business and have horrible customer service in the authorizations departmentIt would be helpful if you spoke with the same person every time but that never happensI will never use this home warranty company again

This is the WORST home warranty you can buyDO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY I called three times, and spend minutes, minutes and minutes respectivelyThe issue was a safety one, with arcing in my garage caused by a faulty external lightI was told that the fixture wasn't covered, and therefore I would have to pay for the entire service call and repair myself (over $600)The rep told me the electricity running through the metal walls of my garage was my own problem, since it originated in the fixture and any issue caused by the fixture was void, even one of extreme fire safetyTHIS INSURANCE IS A SCAM

I've been waiting a week for Fidelity National Home Warranty to fix the A/C on my tenant's house I've called almost every day and they tell me that they are waiting for reports from the A/C company I call the A/C company and they stated that they already sent the reports Meanwhile, my tenant is very upset at me because it's mid summer in Phoenix and it's in the 100's I keep getting bounced back and forth between them and the A/C company But, Fidelity is ultimately responsibly to get the job done
Every time I call in, it's over a minute wait to connect to an attendant Then they tell me that there are no notes in the system, but they promise to fix the problem But, they don't So I call back again, wait a half hoursame promises, but no action
So, this week I get the paperwork to re-new the contract with them Hmmm, I don't think so

I had service requests for a pest control service and an electrician service with FidelityFor the pest control service request, I've talked to a representative on the phone described my problem, and she dispatched a contractor to my house and told me they DO NOT provide that serviceBut Fidelity insisted on charging me the service fee because they did sent out people on siteFor the electrician service, I requested service on light fixture without knowing the item is not covered(not able to access my contract on line), Fidelity send in electricians who refuse to serviceThese incidents cost me time and money, and can be easily prevented by FidelityI do not think this company deserve to be listed under Revdex.com

My airconditioning began malfunctioning Thursday nightI opened a claim on their websiteI prepaid the $** service feeThe first contractor called Friday morning and told me to ask Fidelity for a different contractor who could work around my scheduleI immediately opened a new claim and they assigned me a different contractor but wanted me to pay the $** service fee againI submitted a customer service request through their website Friday morning about the service fee that still hasn't been responded toBy about 5pm on Friday, I still hadn't heard from the second contractor so I called Fidelity and was told the contractor would definitely be contacting me that dayIt is now Sunday and I still haven't heard from them and still have a malfunctioning air conditioning unit...in ***....in August

This is a home warranty companyOur AC unit has been out for more than a weekWe called FNHW right away for helpIt took days for the contractor to come and look at the unitHe agreed that the compressor was broken and needed to be replacedHe left without fixing the problemWe called back the same dayThe house will not cool below degrees at this pointThey came out again - and said that they would immediately tell FNHW that the compressor was brokenWhen I followed up with FHNW they said that they have not received a reportI have three small childrenOne of which has heart and respiratory illnessMy children are up, sweating and in tears because they cannot sleep because it is too hotThis is unacceptablePlease help

FNHW stated So now after 3+ months I'm with out a working appliance

I purchased a home in June of at *** *** *** *** *** ***There was money left over from the sale of the houseI was told later that the extra money was spent on a home warranty with Fidelity Home WarrantyI never requested this specific Home Warranty company and never signed a contract with themI "never received a contract from them"Meanwhile I requested to have my roof fixed in the month of June Someone came out and said they did repairsNow that the rain has hit my houseThe roof they came to fix has left a lot of damage to my garageI called them and they said they are not responsible because they only guarantee work for daysAnd they also indicated they were "never authorized " to perform the work in the beginningIt was all a mistakeAnd to end the discussion they said the roof was only covered for one yearThe first yearAnd even though the work was conducted incompetent "during" the first year that it was authorized to be done, they ar

The A/C guy came out the same afternoon and fixed the capacitor in timely and professional mannerThey sent *** out to replace the control panel on my dishwasher via an appointmentHe was there on time and did a perfect jobPest control service for mice was declined because it was rats and not miceThe tech was very kind and complemented me with some mice trapsHe showed me where the rats were coming into my house and was very helpful I've gotten a return on my investment and am very happy with Fidelity

Company sent out unqualified repair peopleActually made situation worse and misdiagnosed the problemAfter calling rep and letting know our own technician found the errors and corrected the problem they refuse to reimburse and are extremely rude and difficult to deal withHave asked us to resend paperwork continuously that they have and have even questioned us onPhone calls too this company are an average of minutes hold time with calls often dropped only to restart the min hold time again

I purchased fidelity national home warranty policy when I bought my house, *** * *** *** *** ** ***After I moved, I found out that the buimicrowave light was broken and the metal round top in the microwave was missing, so my family is highly likely exposed those radiation from the microwave and also possess a very high risk of fire due to this defectAnd also, gas range stopped workingI called fidelity on 9/9/and reported those two problems and made service requestThe technician came by on 9/13/and checked the microwave and gas range, and reported to fidelity but did not do any repair and informed me not to use the microwave because it may cause fire and release radiationSo I waited for the fidelity responseOn 9/16/16, Fidelity sent technicians and they place the top round metal inside microwave but they did not fix the microwave light, and they looked at the gas range only but could not repair any on gas rangeSince then until now, I have NOT heard

We needed two AC repairs within the year of our warrantyBoth times, Fidelity sent the same incredibly unprofessional, inept AC company to perform the workWe were required to pay a service fee to a company that did nothing but cause problemsWhen we complained to Fidelity, our concerns were not taken seriouslyLooking up Revdex.com complaints indicates that Fidelity contracts with this company (*** *** *** ***) as a way of not paying legitimate claims when *** submits reports denying a warranty-covered problemIt is bad business at best, and a scam at worst

Prior to closing on our home we were informed via a inspection report that the A/C unit would need repair as the temperature differential was only degrees and the typical differential would be around 14-degreesAn amendment was placed into our contract stating the A/C would need to be repaired prior to closingBoth parties signed the amendment and I was provided an invoice showing the A/C had been repairedOn 07/09/we closed on the house, but did not move in until 08/01/as we were removing the popcorn ceilingOver the course of working on the house it was noticed the system would continuously run and not shut offWe then contacted our warranty company who then sent out a A/C technicianThe technician advised the outside unit would need to be replaced due to wear and tear on the machineWe then contacted the warranty company that advised the claim was denied due to being a pre existing conditionWe then provided documentation showing work was done on the unit to

This company knowingly accepted a home warranty on a home that did not have a sewer clean out and then refused to provide service based on the fact that the home did not have a sewer clean out

I purchased my home in February and a warranty from Fidelity was includedAll systems passed inspection at the time of the home buyIn early July, the HVAC system broke downI called Fidelity Home Warranty to request service, they sent a tech named *** from *** *** *** ***) who then replaced the fan motor on the condenserA few days later, water began leaking from the coil unit in the attic through the ceiling into my living roomI stopped using the AC, called Fidelity and after trying to reach an operator for hours, finally got someone to come out and lookThey sent the same tech, *** from *** *** * *** *** (who was very rude to me this time)*** looked into my attic, did not go into my attic, and simply said "your system is not level and is not installed properly", closed the attic and left and said I would have to call the home warranty company to follow upI did that and after trying to reach someone at Fidelity for hours, I finally reached a rep who said they would not repair or replace the system because it's not installed correctly although my warranty contract specifies coverage for "improper installation"When I asked about this, the rep said "that's a grey area." I requested a second opinion as my air conditioning still did not work, which they said they would request "emergency dispatch"After waiting for hours, I followed up and was told they would not be able to get anyone to the house for at least a week but I could hire my own company and submit for out-of-pocket expensesThey emailed me the forms to do soSo I called a couple local companies and had someone here the next day, got an estimate and paidWhen I submitted my invoice, Fidelity then denied my claim saying the services were not coveredSumming up the experience, it has been beyond frustrating and a huge waste of valuable time trying to work with Fidelity and get them to provide service and honor their contractIt seems their modus operandi is to make the process so frustrating that you have no recourse but to give upIt's my opinion that their warranty is worthless and a waste of moneyI would not be surprised to learn that they are offering a bogus product and their reps are being trained to deny services
