I have had issues with my A/C for over 1/months now and each time they have sent vendors out that either won't or aren't capable of fixing the problem This weekend I had to have an emergency company come out as FHW said it would be Tuesday before they could get anyone out (this was on Saturday - have not had A/C since then and in Texas that is unbearable) After hours the tech said what I knew all along that I need a new A/C I found a very qualified contractor that quoted me almost half off of what the emergency repair company did and they have declined an "outside" contractor to do the work They would prefer to send one of their own - one that will put a band-aid on the issue and not do the right thing I have even more secondary damages now and have already spent $1,to fix the secondary damage from two months ago that they do not cover Biggest scam I have ever dealt with...had just renewed only because I knew that the issue wasn't really fixed Stay far away from this company for your own sake!!

Below is a copy of the letter that we forwarded to the ** rep in regards to our complaints ( I did remove names as your websites directs to not include personally identifiable information)It will explain in detail what our issues have beenSince this letter was sent to the Rep, we have had a couple of conversations with her and several emailsWe had to fix our pool pump on our own as our pool had turned green and was becoming a health hazardHer initial response was that she was not sure she could help us as that did not fit their protocol, but requested that we forward her the receipts and she would look into itSince then, she has agreed to reimburse us for service call fees and our purchases, and has also stated we would either be compensated $*** for drywall damage for our garage, or have the garage company come out to repairWe have not received any reimbursement and no one has come out to repair anythingAll we are requesting is to be reimbursed for what they have already

This company only gave me "partial" credit when I "paid in full" before the due date to renew my home warranty contractI contacted them with proof of my "total payment" with the money order receipt tracking numbers that proved total paymentThis company would not even investigate the employee that accepted the " partial payment" to see if maybe the 2nd money order was overlookedThis company instructed me to take care of the problem by using the " stop payment" method on the missing money order, which is impossible because MoneyGram Corporation DOES NOT do "Stop Payments" of any kind as I discovered after contacting MoneyGram. The representative's uncaring attitude about the situation just proves this company has poor business ethics

On August 25, we moved into a new homeA 1-year warranty was purchased in our closing cost for $*** through Fidelity National Home WarrantyAccount #*** The first Monday we were there a leak was discovered in the hall bathroom behind the bathtubThis was causing leakage into the kitchenSince we were beginning a remodel on the kitchen we removed all the cabinets and drywall to see the leak and realize the mixer needed to be replacedSince plumbing was covered under the home warranty we decide on August 31, to open a claimWe paid a $** service fee to have someone come out and we understood only plumbing was covered under the warranty which was fine by us, all we needed replaced was the mixerOn September 4, someone from *** *** came out and looking at the leak, they said they would write up a bid and Fidelity National Home Warranty would let us knowAfter three days of not hearing back and we were going to two weeks without being able to use our hall s

We called Fidelity National Home Warranty on June 5, and they sent a plumber to my home on June 6, The plumber arrived to my home and did not provide services since the leaking pipe is related to a class action lawsuitThe plumber called his boss and asked what the next steps should beHis boss said not to work on the job because he didn't want to assume liabilityFidelity National Home Warranty is still charging $for a service feeWe believe we should not pay for the service fee since no service was renderedWe called Fidelity National Home Warranty several timesWith the most recent call on 6/13/17, the customer service representative said "It's not my fault that the customers don't read the contract." I'm appalled by the non-service we experienced and the horrible customer service

Don't use this company! I purchased the extra well and septic coverage and had to file claims for bothThey found every possible excuse to deny both claimsMy most recent claim had to do with a septic tank issue that the company told me they only covered if it was due to wear and tear which it was according to the company that came out to repair the problemFidelity national still refused to accept my claimIf you enjoy jumping through hoop after hoop and throwing away money use this company if not find a better company

AC has been non op for over a month and this company is giving us the run aroundNothing has been fixed and our house tops out at degrees in the eveningI have been placed on hold for over an hour

Whenever I call I’m on hold for an hour plusIt’s been almost two months now that I have been trying to get Fidelity to fix the same problem with my pool equipmentWe are now on the third companyI was assured I would not be charged for the second company who came outHowever Fidelity has improperly charged me another $** service call for this visit

We needed two AC repairs within the year of our warrantyBoth times, Fidelity sent the same incredibly unprofessional, inept AC company to perform the workWe were required to pay a service fee to a company that did nothing but cause problemsWhen we complained to Fidelity, our concerns were not taken seriouslyLooking up Revdex.com complaints indicates that Fidelity contracts with this company (*** *** *** ***) as a way of not paying legitimate claims when *** submits reports denying a warranty-covered problemIt is bad business at best, and a scam at worst

Fidelity sent a tech to repair the A/C unitTech pulled a electrica lcontact out of the compressor and said the unit failed because of excessive wearWhen Fidelity was NOT covering the unit, it was serviced by another company & worked great for yearsFidelity started covering the unit in March of 2016, months before the problemI had to have another company fix the unit because of a bad compressor at a cost of $When I purchased the policy, the Fidelity Repstated that prior service wouldn't be a problem, because it wasn't their coverage

I have been a customer of this company for over a yearThis was contract was purchased when we bough our home May of and renewed in June We have never filed a claim or utilized their services up until recently, which is why we are filing the complaintWhen we renewed the contact, I was upsold to include the refrigerator upgrade which was more moneyThe sales rep *** *** advised and assured me that the renewal would cover my main fridge in addition to othersI spoke to*** on multiple occasions from May- June, she called me at least times in hope to convenience me to renew my contractMy husband and I were hesitant because we never used it in the past and did not want to spend $on the renewalDuring*** multiple sales calls she mentioned that my main built in GE fridge was years, and not having warranty was a huge riskI asked if the age of the fridge mattered and she made it very clear there was no age clause in the contractAlso during those calls she as

horrible company Chooses to put personal profits over whats right to do Had to have a plumbing line repaired times in months but they continue to assert that the line itself is in good working order and thus unwilling to replace the line Customer service supervisors are unwilling to answer difficult questions and literally just state "please refer to your contract for additional questions"

I had a plumbing issue and called Fidelity home warranty for repairFidelity sent *** plumbing to our house after the first plumbing company they sent could not identify any problemThe second plumbing company charged us $*** for removing the toilet to access the sewer line when they can perfectly access the sewer line from the cleanout outsideI inquired Fidelity about the fee before agreeing to have the toilet removed and Fidelity did not find problems with them having to remove the toilet instead of using the cleanoutThe plumbers claimed they ran a camera from the outside cleanout but when asked could not provide the videoWe later had three other plumbing companies outside the warranty to comeNone of them had to remove the toilet and they all access the sewer line from the cleanoutWe were also told with the condition inside the pipe there was no way *** plumbing could see tree roots using a cameraAll three plumbing companies identified the problem to be broken pipes

The worst experience ever with this companyI wished I had seen their negative reviews before I signed up with themNot only they over charge you, they even charge twice for the same claim when the issue was not resolved and it is supposed to be at no chargeThey have the worst customer service and make it impossible to cancel your contractor with them

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE ,HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!! Requested a tech that knew about SOLAR water heaters when my reservoir tank started leakingSpoke to people from fidelity before the tech arrivedThey sent someone that is not certified to work on solar water heaters, but knew enough to know that the solar tank had nothing to do with our leaking, electric water tank, spoke with multiple people from Fidelity, all giving me different excuses why it would not be coveredOnce explaining why their information was incorrect they would go to another excuseI finally asked for a manager who directed me to the last person being a tech named *** who stated that regardless of the fact that it is my electric holding tank, they will not cover the repairs/replacement because it was sold by a solar company and has their sticker on itTherefore they do not have to cover my ELECTRIC water heating tank with an ELECTRIC heating element in itHe then told the tech that had it been a gallon tank (and not

I have dealt with several home warranty companies over the years and this company has been by far the worst experience I have hadI would NEVER USE THEM AGAIN I have called repeatedly to correct a service fee issue for an issue that they ended up sending out the same HVAC contractor out three times and the only thing I saw them do is collect service fees THey were supposed to have their dispute resolution group contact me on separate occasions and I NEVER received a call On this third visit, I again paid the service fee and they are now sending me a invoice saying the service fee is unpaid and due I have a copy of the cancelled check Again, NEVER again There are too many reputable companies out there for me to do business with this company again

Call for a service call with a leaking water heaterTechnician came out replaced a valve, water heater still leaksUnable to speak to anyone about fixing the problemStill being charged for not fixing problem

I purchased a home with a prepaid one year warrantyThe home was inspected by a licensed inspector prior to purchaseThe inspector tested the A/C systems for function (i.ethe fans and units worked), but was unable to confirm that they cooled to a specified temperature because of the ambient temperature being low at the time of the inspectionAfter I moved in, the outside temp had risen and I turned the two a/c units onThe upstairs unit functioned for a day, then the fan stopped workingI filed a claim on the home warrant as designedTheir contractor repair service came to inspect the unit and found that the fan motor had failedFNF then denied the repair, claiming the unit could not have functioned at the time of purchaseEven after showing them the inspector tested the units for function and they functioned fine prior to purchase, they still denied the claim because of the "ambient temperature" statement in the report

I purchased home warranty protectionMy AC went out in July and the tech hired by Fidelity said the unit had worn out due to wear and tearShe told Fidelity we needed a new condenser and evap coilMonths went by where Fidelity simply refused to fix the problem under the warranty with no explanationThen on Sept18, it finally sent someone out again and this time the tech found some minor damage from what he thought was dog urine from the prior ownerHe told me that this damage was not the cause for the condenser's failureFidelity then refused to cover the unit because of the minor damage which was not the reason the unit failed in the first placeClearly, this individual was sent to simply find a reason not to cover the unit

It has been six weeks since I filed a complaint on my refrigerator ice maker and door seal I have not had any action on the complaint The Fidelity plumber is no help and I wait over an hour to get customer service on the phone I recently renewed my policy and I feel extremely cheated This company is a sham DO NOT INSURE WITH THEM For starters, if you read the policy there are more household exclusions than covered items Read the list of exclusions carefully before you insure No one cares at FidelityBottom line, I have gone most of the summer without a fully functioning refrigerator and nothing is being done
