Don't use this company! I purchased the extra well and septic coverage and had to file claims for bothThey found every possible excuse to deny both claimsMy most recent claim had to do with a septic tank issue that the company told me they only covered if it was due to wear and tear which it was according to the company that came out to repair the problemFidelity national still refused to accept my claimIf you enjoy jumping through hoop after hoop and throwing away money use this company if not find a better company

This company does not care about customer needs!!! They still have not fixed a existing kitchen repair, but still made me pay my service feeThey have hung up on me when I called to resolve this issueTheir supervisor never returned my call to resolve that issueNow, they dispatched a sheet rock company that will take a week to repair wall holes, that their plumber made in my bathroomPlease stay away from this companyThey have been rude, unhelpful, and inadequateIt's horrible that they can treat their customers like that

I had a warranty provided with the purchase of my new homeI did not renewI just had a follto see why I did not renew and gave the CSR a polite answer that the premium was too highAlso, I felt I didn't need itAfter being persistent beyond reason, and after I had explicitly said I was interested and "NO", before beginning to hang up she tried to slip in "then it's okay to bill you in six individual installments" to renew the insuranceLuckily, I was still listening and told her explicitly two additional times I was not interested and do not billThis is criminal and should be prosecuted*** ***

Terrible customer service How they received an A+ rating is beyond comprehension Fidelity is a big name but this service is the the worst Constant runaround if you call regarding an issue and no resolution to the problem! No one has any responsibility and passes the buck to another department Seems the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing within the entire company Buyer Beware!!

I had condos where I used Fidelity home warranty for over years Their contractors were ok, but on several occasions I had problems with billing, but the final problem takes the cake When I renewed my last contract, I knew I would be moving, and was told that my yearly payment would be prorated and returned to me if I cancelled early No one ever told me about the additional service fee If you have to cancel your contract, you are charged all of the money they spent on your items during that year of the contract This means, if you had ANY work done, you probably won't be receiving any money back I spoke with people when I renewed and let them know I would be moving within the year You would think SOMEONE could have mentioned that Because of what I see as underhanded business practices, I could not recommend this business * *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***

Not sure how they are in businessNothing is covered, it's not even a home warrantyGuess they still in business because they scam everyone of $Outsourcing tiny hole in the wall contractors, "oh you wont be chargedOh its covered under warranty." Contractor came and rang the door bell & oh this is not my specialty, guess they sent the wrong contractor? Billed for $for service feeGreat customer service!!!

Our Toilet got clogged on December and we requested for service the week afterThey sent guys from a contracted plumbing company and after listening to our problem, they toured the outside of the house looking for a "clean out valve" and when they found none, they said that upon consultation with Fidelity National Home Warranty agent, they said the problem was not covered because we did not have the valveWe ended up hiring a plumber and we paid out of our own pockets for de-clogging the drain by just snaking the drain from the roof! The home warranty guys did not even try to remedy, they just refused to do anything because we did not have the wash out valve they were looking for

Started using this company in late Jan and I have to say the service is not great at all
My first report of an issue with my A/C was on 5/15/and the problem is still not resolvedIt took the contract service rep 4+ weeks to get to my house and install a new coil
On 6/23/I called and opened another ticket because ever since they installed the coil my AC has been running 24/and cannot keep up and I have NEST thermostat online reporting to prove that the problem started to occour after the new coil was installed! Still not scheduled to be repaired yet!
--- Summary on my experience ---
DAYS AND COUNTINGSTILL HAVING ISSUES
***4+ Weeks to get the first ticket started and it has not fixed the problem***
***New call placed and ticket opened on 6/and still no response from Fidelity or the Contracted labor to come back out to fix what should of been fixed

Horrible customer serviceI had a garage door spring break I called customer service to make a claimThey informed me that is a covered repairThey said they would call their local repair servicedays later a repairman shows up with no parts and said he would get back to us about the parts and service After weeks and left messages by me and messages from fidelity I told them to find me another venderFidelity calls me and said they have no other vendors in the area.they offer me $to find my own venderI agreedI had the door fixed in hoursdays later still no check from fidelityThey say it takes to daysThey said they were going to cancel the first check and send me a check for $which they said was all they pay for the garage repairThe $Is the amount they offeredIt’s been almost months, I had to get the door fixed and still haven’t received my moneyThey give you a lot of I’m sorry on the phone but no results

Worst company I deal everThey never dispatch tech considering urgencyEvery time we get tech after a weekWe buy warranty and so we get stuckI was so fed up with them that I want to switch to new provider and I was informed the I can't stop or switched during my first year of buying houseThat's really ridiculousI would recommend never to go with themWorst, worst worst service everJust to repair AC, heat or washing machine they come after a weekAnd yup they said they never guarantee when tech would be onsite or in how many days

I purchased a home warranty from Fidelity and filed a claim in Nov to have my dishwasher diagnosed because it was not workingFor every diagnosis there is a $service fee which I paidWhen the technical came he did not diagnose the dishwasher so I called Fidelity and they told me they would authorize a second option at no additional cost to meThe second technician came and diagnosed the issue and submitted a service repair request for $***Fidelity then sent me a check for $*** and said they withheld $** to cover the labor of the second technicianI called repeatedly to try and resolve the issue since I saw told there would be no additional cost to me to have a second opinion, but Fidelity keeps alleging that the $** fee that they withheld from my payout was not a fee I paid, although clearly if I was owed $*** and only received $*** that means I incurred the expenseI would like the help getting my full payout of $***Can you please ask them to send me a $** checkThan

On 4/the tech came out to fix our washing machineIt no longer workedWe paid $** for the inspection, in addition to our monthly feeThey said it would need to be taken into the shop to be fixed and we would get it back within 4-business daysThe machine was picked up on 4/We have received new dates on when the machine will come back now, the date just keeps getting movedMeanwhile, we have no washing machine and we've paid both a monthly fee and the service feeBoth my husband and I have spoken to management they say they can do absolutely nothing

I would like to NOT even give them a starNightmare trying to get air conditioning fixed Lost it on the worst day possible, a funeral for They could not get someone outThis is two days later, still no air conditioning in 100+ degreesTried going through their automated system only to be put on hold for endless hours, then once getting through being disconnected multiple times, told someone would be out in 24hours after waiting days in scorching temperatures, to be told a lie, and when approaching the vendor directly told they could come out in a week at the earliest phone representatives later, only to be told, there was no supervisor or managers available Exasperated!!!

I originally opened the case with Fidelity home warranty on July 31, for a broken refrigeratorAs of today, two months later my refrigerator is still brokenI am pregnant and have a toddler so living without a fridge is a nightmareI have called Fidelity multiple times letting them know that my fridge was still broken and that the company they contracted to fix the fridge was unresponsive / not giving me updatesFidelity blames the contract companyThe contract repair company is blaming Fidelity for not approving replacement part requestsAt this point, it is Fidelity's responsibility to either fix my fridge or replace it in a timely mannerThey chose the contract repair company and are supposed to be managing them, not me

I placed a service call for garage door - the springs and the pull-wire broke and needed replacementOnly mechanical partsAll electrical parts were good and fully functional including the motor, keypads, opener button and remote clickers, all by brand ***The technician from *** Garage Door Sw came and said he would fix it no problemWhen he came back with the parts and finished the job - I was devastatedAll electrical parts were replaced by new system called ***, he advised me that he did me a favor replacing the motor and this new motor is far superior to ***But not compatible with any other systems, including universal openers, etcHe charged me $extra for wall button as he stated HW doesn't cover it and its not compatible with new motorWhy do I have to pay for this if it didn't need to be changed as well as the motor 0- it is not optional accessory, it is part of operating system!!! Keypad started malfunctioning in daysI checked the *** company on

As of January Fidelity has been to my rental unit in *** *** ** at least times to provide repairs to a 30+ year old AC unitAfter they fix the unit, it stops working and it takes another call and fee to get them out there againThe multiple visits to the property lack of providing a proper fix is causing great inconvenience to my Tenants, Property Manager and Myself, that is not to mention the costs of each service call and the potential safety issue that this old unit may presentI have been with Fidelity for more than years and my contract number is ***

My water heater broke at my house in Half Moon Bay, and Fidelity sent a repairman out to fix it on a rush order since it was leaking and there was no hot waterSince the repairman wasn't treating it as a rush order and it had been several weeks, I called Fedelity several times about the statusToday, 10/25/2016, I received a call from the plumber that he had completed the work and that I owed him "$235" out of pocket directly to himI called Fidelity and they claimed that a Fidelity worker named *** "got authorization from me for an expansion tank" on 10/At first they said authorization was given on 10/The extra cost will be "$275" that I must pay the plumberI told representative *** and then supervisor *** that I absolutely did not give authorization and that this was the first I was hearing of itI requested they listen to the recording of the call when I supposedly gave this fictional authorizationI requested that they pay the $owed to the plumberI call

I paid a lot of money for this insurance and their website MISREPRESENTSWhen it says to file a claim it says to call if an emergencyRight now I have a major leak from the HVAC in the attic and it damaged the ceiling and buckling the drywall and boardsI have pictures to proveI called in claim days ago and they assigned a technician that came and walked off the job, because I needed a new HVAC unit (which they are suppose to pay for) and he didn't want to deal with itThen they set me up with another guy who would not call me backThen I got the third company, who the best they can do to come out is 7/5/appointmentFidelity claims told me I can find my own tech, only under the conditions they have to call in and make sure fidelity approves, but I went through major HVac companies in *** and not one company wants to deal with Fidelity because they have a terrible reputation for not approving service and repairsPlease help, this a very dishonest company that has

I reached out to this abhorrent company to fix a broken refrigerator in my new homeAfter the serviceman came and replaced the internal computer in the unit, I thanked him and he promptly left ($charge)The next day I realized the water/ice dispenser was no longer working so I called again to have him return and fix the issueThree days later the same serviceman arrived but that morning the water had mysteriously begun to flow againWhen asked if he could check the unit anyway in case it was an intermittent issue, he explained that the water flow issue was to be expected following the previous repair (even though he never warned me to expect it) and that the pipes had just likely frozen and needed a day or two to thawTo be clear, on the second visit he *never* touched the unit and admitted the water issue was related to his previous repairUpon leaving, he said he wouldn't charge me and that he was sorry for the confusion
Then I got a bill for another $a week laterCustomer service refused to waive the charge and were extremely rude on the phoneThey claimed the second visit was unrelated to the first
Scammers, the lot of themSTAY AWAY!

After my AC was blowing out hot air, I contacted FNHW and they sent out a technician from a local company here in Bakersfield, CAUpon arrival, the technician was unprofessional! When he saw the AC unit out back he immediately asked when it was serviced last because if it had not been serviced, his report could ultimately have the claim deniedHe proceeded to wash down the unit (there was visible oil on the concrete slab the unit was on, which was a sign the compressor was out!) and say the ring was due to the waterHe changed out the motor to the fan, which he stated had not been diagnosed as the issue, and continued to switch out the capacitor and add sealant and coolantThe air was blowing cool once again and ended up going out a day laterHe was called back out and the 2nd visit was worst than the first! He was late and ultimately admitted to the burned out compressorAfter he left I called FNHW and advised them of his diagnosis and requested they expedite the repairs, as it has been plus and this was going on a week with no ACThey indicated (authorization) that the claim was denied because the technician said it was the condenser coils being wet by the sprinklerMind you, this is after an hour wait holding for them to answer at FNHWAfter an hour explaining the situation and how the tech had lied in his report, I was told I could seek out another technician for a 2nd opinionI opted to find one and his report confirmed that the compressor was burned out and the negligence from the first technician led to my circuit board burning out in my furnace due to failure to shut the breaker offI was told that they would file my complaint against the technician for his unprofessional demeanor, as well as listed several options to proceed with the new techLong story short, they tried to send out another tech for a 3rd opinion and avoided sticking to their original offerI have never been strung along when specifics of a contract show that they were in the wrong*** *** ** *** *** *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** Unbelievable! I am beyond disappointed in how there is poor customer service and unprofessional staff
