Our kitchen was flooded on Thursday afternoon when I got homeI called Fidelity and they set me up with a plumberThe plumber couldn't come out until MondayOur water was off all weekendMy Father In Law waited at my house for the plumber to arrive and fix our issue which ended up being a simple problem with our faucet leaking off the counter onto our floorThe plumber *** arrives, and with a bad attitude tells him, "I don't know why I'm hereFidelity just sent me and didn't tell me anything." My father in law takes him to the kitchen, turns on the faucet and no leakThe plumber replies with, "I can't fix it if I see nothing wrong." My father in law asks him to wait while he turns on the faucet and it finally starts leakingSo he fixed itbut he destroyed our faucet while doing soHe lied about it and said he didn't do itWrote, "So I won't be blamed." On his service orderI figure if he didn't do it he would have showed us before he went in to do itMy FIL said the guy was about to leave without fixing anythingI called Fidelity within minutes of the man leaving to complainI sent photos immediatelyNo response from Fidelity regarding my problemI have used Fidelity many times and their services have been okFidelity won't make it right and I spoke with supervisorsThe plumbing company won't make it right, the owner never called me back and I paid $for horrible service from someone extremely unprofessional who didn't want to go to work that dayI checked his name in *** (***) and he has terrible reviewsI figure if the owner of the plumbing company sends someone who lacks professionalism then they will be the sameI will not be recommending Fidelity ever again and I will not be renewing with them next year

My heater went out over three weeks agoI contacted my home warranty company, Fidelity, and they sent out a technician the next dayThe technician reported several problems but said he could fix this issue as soon as possible, due to no heat during the coldest months of the yearI was thrilled and said I could survive without heat for two days or so while he got everything in orderNow, here we are, three weeks later and I still do not have heatI'm being told by fidelity employees it is a parts issueThe problem is, my mother resides with me and is home full timeShe sufferes from COPD and breathing issues and has a difficult time breathing in the coldIt is unsafe for her to remain home without heat for this long and the longer it takes the more it negatively affects her healthWhen I spoke about this with a customer service representative Today, February 28th, I was told they can not rush parts and the health of my mother was not their concernI am beyond livid at the unprofessionalism and lack of concern for my mother and my homeThey reported today I may have my heater fixed on the 5th of MarchIt is incomprehensible to go yet another week without heat and have my mother's suffering prolongedToday I requested my claim be escalated and I speak to a managerI was told I would be connected to "***" and subsequently was hung up onI called back immediately to be told there was no manager available to take my callI am beyond disgusted with Fidelity Home Warranty and feel they are taking money from insured individuals and then hiring the lowest bidding contractor to carry out the work without regard to the quality or prompt solution to issuesThey feel their bottom dollar is more important than the homes and families that reside in them
This compay has the worst customer service and mis-represents their contracts to their customersWhen you request for a work order the customer rep will tell you you're covered for repairs and serviceHOWEVER, when the service person arrives to do the work, they are told by Fidelity that the insurance does NOT cover the partsAfter paying the 75$ fee to process the workorder and get the specialist out to the property, it cant be done unless you 'upgrade' your policy....I the customer am out full day of work, aggrivated that I can't have the sink fixed, need to call another plumber and by the parts myselft Fidelity home warranty company is TERRIBLE! We did all right with Fidelity for yearsBy all right, I mean we obviously paid more in than we got in returnBut that’s any insurance businessI still felt that companies like Fidelity were beneficial because they indemnify the cash- and credit-poor against owing thousands of dollars overnightThat was until todayTo replace my leaking water heater, which goes every years, Fidelity, in cahoots with Star Home Services of Las Vegas, announces that I must pay -- in addition to my $visit fee, which goes up $every year, and the $for the policy -- an additional $That's because replacing my water heater requires the removal and re-installation of a water recirculation pump that won't even get replaced(The past three times Fidelity had my water heater replaced, this pump was removed and replaced at no charge.)
When I spoke to Fidelity, they wouldn't budgeBut after crying foul to Star, I got them down to $for the minutes of extra work and they acted like I owed them a huge thank-youWe are not renewing our home warranty with Fidelity this yearI can’t see recommending this company for any service other than emptying your bank account

Last June tenants in our property informed us that the power was randomly going off in most areas of the house We contacted Fidelity Home Warranty but the company they sent said it was a system overload and it would not be covered It did not sound right that an overload would suddenly happen in a year old house, without any substantial change We requested immediately a second opinion and e-mailed the disagreeing findings to Fidelity Home Warranty Nobody contacted us, and every time you call them you have at least a minute wait on hold (sometime well over hour !)
