The terms and conditions are written to protect them with very little that they actually cover I needed extensive cleaning of my AC evaporator coils, which they deemed is routine maintenance even though it requires dismantling and removal of a fair amount of the unit I have the Comprehensive Plus or whatever the plan is called There is routine maintenance that I agree should not be covered in their liability but the services that are needed to be performed here are not routineIf you had a preventive maintenance program and your coils got dirty you would still have to make a separate service call for them to remove and clean the coils They deem it maintenance, I deem it poor policy I am not renewing my contract with the company after this incident

I bought home warranty coverage last year and for past few months I am having issues with my electrical panelThere is partial power outage in my house and it is intermittentIn past, every time home warranty send people to take a look at the issue, they said there is no issueFinally on march 7th the main breaker burnt and they replaced just the breaker but main bus bar got damaged and show signs of overheatingSan Jose city inspector came and he wrote in his report that either they replace the panel or get it tested by San Jose city approved testing agencyFidelity is not willing to perform any of those and just verbally saying that the panel is working fineI have permit open and Fidelity is just trying to save money by not fixing what San Jose city inspector has asked to do

We had a toilet bowl crack and flood our upstairsOur insurance company resolved the damage from the flood and took the bowl for evidenceWe explained all of this to the company when we called to see if they would cover the toilet replacementAfter waiting for almost weeks for someone to come out, they refused to replace the toilet because the tank was not at our house like we had already told themI spent an hour on hold and was sent to the voicemail of a manager that never called me backI was still charged a service fee for a plumber to come out and say they had to call the company that then denied to cover the replacementIt was a complete waste of my timeIf they would have told us that it would not be covered when we first called then they would have saved us time and moneyNobody would talk to me or call me back and I still have to pay the service fee for nothingI will never go with this company again and do not recommend anyone else going with them eitherThey have no customer service and are just there to take your money and waste your time

On April 22, 2018, I contacted Fidelity National Home Warranty regarding the overflow of an upstairs toilet resulting in $*** in damages and $*** in supporting servicesOn April 23,2018, Fidelity National Home Warranty dispatched *** *** of *** *** *** to our home to determine what the cause was to incur said damagesThe plumber with *** *** only investigated the operation of the toilet and did nothing to inspect the plumbing as to what may have caused this toilet to overflow and continue to run for at least 10-minutesI questioned him about running a plumbers snake or investigating the exterior plumbing cleanout for something that could have cased this problemOther than flush the toilet for close to minutes, with and without toilet paper, he determined there was nothing wrong with the operation of the toilet and therefore, Fidelity National Home Warranty would not authorize the replacement of the toiletI was told I could get a 2nd opinion, which I did

I called Fidelity on 10/4/after noticing our guest bathroom toilet had a crack in the tank and was unsure if it would be covered under the warranty and didn't want to waste our $to have someone come out if it wouldn't be covered I was told it would be covered, a plumber came out and looked at it, told us it would be replaced and would take 1-business days to contact Fidelity for authorization We waited a couple more weeks and never heard anything from either business I called Fidelity last Thursday to find out when the toilet would be replaced, and they set up an appointment the next day for the plumbers to come out After a no call/no show from the plumbers the next day, I emailed Fidelity to see if a different more reliable plumber could be dispatched out to replace the toilet with no response I finally got a call yesterday (10/30/17) from the plumbers saying they have an appointment time available for today to come between 9-2, so I went ahead and set it up I received a call from the plumber around today stating he would be at our house to check out the toilet, and when I told him he should be scheduled to come out and replace it, he stated he was only supposed to come out and check it and not replace it and that he would have to contact his office to find out more and would call me back I never heard anything further, until I called Fidelity at PM today and was told that the claim was denied because it was not due to wear and tear or old age as determined by the plumber who came out the first time When I asked why we were told it would be replaced, and why I was told it would be covered when I originally called Fidelity a month ago to submit the claim, plus hearing nothing this whole time, the Fidelity employee stated he didn't know why we were told that and that Fidelity should have called to tell us it wouldn't be covered This was a huge waste of time and money, both of which we could have used to replace the toilet ourselves a month ago! I will definitely not renew our home warranty with Fidelity and do not recommend them whatsoever, as they dropped the ball big time on this one We have never had an issue up until this point with any claims we have submitted, but I'm not willing to have to deal with this nonsense again

We have a 4-plex with A/C upgrade Our AC unit went out in April We called the Fidelity Home Warranty They sent out a guy from Oroville to fix (company is miles away) It is now July and the temperatures in Redding are hitting AC still not fixed A new unit has been authorized and is sitting in Oroville Scheduled to be fixed on July 17th The tenants had to move out We have lost almost months of rent Fidelity says there is nothing they can do Why send out a company that is miles away?
