got repeated runaround from company, plumbing contractor and sales rep ***we have been without hot water since july 1, called for service, took days to get plumber out, said needed a part, but no follow uprepeatedly called the company and rep for status, subjected to outrageous hold times only to be transferred and more wait timecalled twice a day every day, no one ever calls backone day they tell us they are waiting on plumbers reports, then I had to keep calling plumber (boss plumbing) to get report sent, finally sent report only to be told needs authorization, there goes another day, then called again and told its up to the warranty to pay for partand I said it took all week to figure that out? so more delays and runaround, meanwhile no one calls me about anythingI repeatedly told them time is a factor bc we will be leaving on holiday soonthis is soooo egregious I cant believe they would subject customers to this horrorto add insult to injury when we first called

AC went out in March and FNHW tech they sent said the condenser needed replacingThey replaced my high end unit with a Goodman condenserAfter that my house wouldn't cool over degrees out here in Palm DesertThe next tech they sent said the installation was horrible and that the Goodman was a piece of crap and it wasn't compatible with my AC unitIt was leaking coolant and he would have to replace the coilAfter several weeks of waiting, tech number two backs out of the job so FNHW sends tech number three who says coil needs replacingReally? Well now its late July, my home temp is now degreesMy art work is shriveling and the paint is cracking of my walls and still no AC because the part just arrived and the tech company cannot find the time until August After several heated discussions over the phone, FNHW says they have no control over the techs and their scheduleI said I would consider this emergency which I then got the same replyToday alone I spent minutes on hold and was cut off twiceThis is the most frustrating and unprofessional experience I have had in years of being in businessFNHW plays a game of waiting hoping you'll give up and fix it yourselfAvoid this companyJust terrible

We had a burst sewage pipe last night and we called fidelity this morningThey told us that we have to wait until the next day to get a technician to our houseThat’s more than hrs since the burst and since the phone callAllegedly, because it’s NOT and emergency (citing no other structures are being damaged) and it’s the holidays -Nov 21st-, so they can’t send anybody until thenWe also asked if we can get another plumber contracted by ourselves and then refunded by them, of course they said noPerhaps I should invite them over for dinner, so they can smell the pleasantness that is raw sewageUnacceptable!
I have a plumbing issue in the bathtub/shower in my new homeIt has been diagnosed by FNHW's plumber as likely a faulty diverter, but he can't be sure without opening the wallMy home warranty with FNHW covers the plumbing repair and states that access to plumbing lines and repair of access openings to a rough finish is covered up to $***Two representatives of the company adamantly claim that "access to plumbing lines" does not cover access to the diverter in the plumbing line and therefore there is an additional charge to open and close the wall to make the covered repair(s)My position is that their interpretation of the warranty is absurd because (1) we don't know for sure what the actual problem is until the plumber opens the wall, and (2) if the problem is covered by the warranty, then by definition, access to the problem is covered

We had to pay out of pocket for what company calls "secondary damage" which was caused by their contractor missing a plumbing issue they were sent in to investigateThe plumber did not do what they were asked to go do (detect a possible leak or a leak be)He failed to check the shower-head and where its connecting point to the pipe going into the wallThis would not require opening ceiling or walls so no reason for them not investigating it properly and as they were requestedThis contractor failure and fidelity lack of followup and support meant than within a week we had a huge leak from the very point they were meant to investigateThe leak appeared in the lower floor ceiling under the showerI had to call an emergency plumbers in over the weekend out of pocket as Fidelity failed to provide a contractorThe plumber had to open up the ceiling and deal with the sourceWe were left with a huge hole in ceiling and damaged/wet ceiling as a resultFidelity said will send in anothe
Fidelity Home Warranty has been sending the same company to repair my fridge over half a dozen times and each time they say it is fixed or the other repairman forgot to connect the water supplyNow they sent someone out again and want to replace the componentsI have complained to Fidelity about the issue and they keep saying if it isn't fixed on the next visit they will get a different company, and yet again the same company came and want to return again to replace componentsI was suppose to get a call from another supervisor at Fidelity today, but again, I never received that callAnd during the last visit they said the only last attempt to fix it would be me to defrost the unit, which I did and it still didn't work
I reported my electrical panel because smud electrical told me that my panel need to be replaced because it has a burnt bussingI also hired an electrician to check for second opinionI called fedilty home wanrraty to have mybpanel fix, but they refuse to give me service because they said that their electrician found nothing which he didn’t even look behind my electrical panelI hired electrician again to have my panel replaced and found out that it almost burn my house because there was burned metal part of the panel that almost went through the house wallI called back warranty insurance but the refuse to do anything with it
