I am filing a complaint as the sales associates for the warranty company lied about the coverage their warranty policy in order to get my service payment of $*** Fidelity National Home Warranty was notified that I had *** *** and the manifold/maniblock connectors were leakingMy husband and I spoke with several Sales/Customer services associates to explain the plumbing issue and they confirmed that the manifold/maniblock was covered under warrantyWe confirmed this with several employees as we did not want to be charged $*** for a service fee for an item that was not covered under warrantyAll sales/customer service representatives we spoke with assured us that the manifold/maniblock was coveredThe company was fully aware of the issue as they had to contract several different plumbing companies in order to come to the house as they were not suited for this type of workEach time a work order was made, we spoke to the contracted plumber and repeated the issue wit

I made a original service request on 05/04/(work order# ***) to repair water leak from A/C central machineFidelity sent a contractor (*** ***) to repair and the comtractor gave me a report after work doneI paid $as co-paymentAfter few days I found still water is leakingI made a service re-call on 05/22/(work order#***) for the same same water leak problem within a monthFidelity sent the same contractor (*** ***) to repair and the contractor gave me a report with $charge after work doneAfter few days I found still water is leakingI made a 2nd service re-call on 06/17/(work order#***) for the same same water leak problem within a monthFidelity sent the same contractor (*** ***) to repair and the contractor gave me a report indicating water leak as problem, what fixed and $charge after work doneFidelity now changed the 2nd servive recall as new service and charging me $and don't want to correct it to waive the charge and ignorin

My experience has been similar to the negative reviewsI've had incidents with them & one was during the heat of the summer in AZGuess their standard answer is we're waiting for the report120' temps & a week later they supposedly got the reportI had the wherewithal to find my own companyCurrently still waiting for a call to schedule a service this has been over a weekThe companies they contract with are below standards in every aspect
Agree - not worth having them as a warranty company

A couple days after moving in to my new home, the garage door springs brokeI called Fidelity, set up a service request, paid my deductible and waited for a tech to come outSeveral days later a tech came out, spent 5mins there and told me he couldn't repair the spring because he doesn't know how to work on that typeLater that day I received a call from Fidelity to tell me it would be $to convert the springs to something more traditionalOr they would pay out the claim for $(subtract the $I already paid, and they were offering me $to fix it myself) I didn't accept either option and asked my agent if she could helpThe next day, while unable to answer my phone, I received missed calls and voicemails trying to arrange a follow up appointmentWhen I called the new tech, I set up another appointment, left work again to meet with the tech, only to spend another 5min discussing how he probably couldn't fix the springs, and that he would need to convert them for $I received a follcall from that tech to say that he wasn't trained on the "New" system and wouldn't be until April, so he couldn't helpAfter that, I received another call and message from Fidelity, that they couldn't find anyone to fix my door, and that I could go to the website of the door spring manufacturer and find a local technician myself, and that he/she would need to call Fidelity to get clearance to perform the work, and that I would need to get an authorization number, and that I would need to submit a form for reimbursement, and that they would only pay what they felt appropriate for the jobBasically they handed off their work to me, the clientSo I went to the website, I found a tech in less than minutes, he asked a few questions over the phone and knew exactly what kind of door I had, what type of springs I had, how it would need to be fixed, and quoted my a price of $300, and would be able to fix it the next day Why couldn't Fidelity do that? They had pictures of the door from both of the techs they sent out, and knew how to find the right person, but put the work on me to doI figure, so long as Fidelity gives me my deductible back, its worth it to just pay to have it done and tell Fidelity to go fly a kiteI have also provided all this information to my agent so that she can avoid selling this company's products to her clients in the future

I recently acquired a new house (December 2017) and the seller of the house purchased Fidelity National Home Warranty (Fidelity) for usAfter living in the house for months the Jacuzzi in the master bedroom stopped working for usImmediately, I filed a service call with FidelityIt took Fidelity weeks to have someone come out and look at the JacuzziThe company that came out to look at the Jacuzzi told us they would get back to us within 2-daysI never heard back from the firmI called Fidelity to find out what was going onAfter a hour minute wait to talk to a representative I was told that my claim had been declined as the company felt they did not have access to the Jacuzzi to trouble shoot the problemI expressed my concerns with FidelityFidelity however was not listening to my problem and kept saying it was not a covered benefit and finally hung up on meSecond, I had another issue with my swimming pool suctionI called FidelityThey again sent out a firm c

In December we contacted Fidelity National Home Warranty to request a service contractor to come to our home to address a previously serviced issueFidelity contacted *** *** to handle the service call but my husband spoke with *** *** BEFORE they ever came out and the result was a conversation with Snappy about this being a previous service issue that was already covered under the product (a faucet in our kitchen sink) warranty and NO SERVICE CALL was made to our homeFidelity continues to bill us for a $** service charge despite my repeated attempts to reach them to have them correct their billing to reflect that no service call was made to our homeI have emailed as well1/16/called and left message 1/16/emailed 1/17/called and left message 2/16/called and left message 2/16/emailed I have also attempted to contact *** *** to have them contact Fidelity to let them know they never came out for a service call to our home and we should not

Worst customer service I've experienced in my entire life They require you to pay a $service fee each time you request a technician, but they don't diagnose anything so you either pay it again the next time it breaks or you pay out of pocket to have it fixed by a 3rd party You can't trust anything they say...we were told they would give us a second opinion at no cost and then sent us a $bill and called it a "labor charge" We paid over $in service fees for them to never fix anything, huge waste of money AFTER already paying your annual contract fee! DO NOT USE THEM!

I called FNHW for a repair to my roof as it was leaking into my homeThey collected the $service call feeWhen I called them back hours later they said they had no contractors in my area and I was on my ownI contacted a roofer and had the repair fixedThe repair was not covered under the home warrantyI have called times and left messages and emailed twice to get my $fee backThey will not give it to meThey provided me NO serviceTerrible customer service

I called Fidelity Home Warranty for plumber, possible plumbing leakMy contract number with Fidelity is *** and Service Work Order is #*** and #***Fidelity sent ** *** *** *** *** **After he did the repairs for Fidelity Home Warranty we discovered that the plumber (and represented by Fidelity as qualified) did the work incorrectly and illegallyHe didn't pull permits and the work he did was in violation of code and we did not pass inspectionIn addition the plumbing hole was significantly bigger and we had water running down the walls and into the basementOur house sale/closing was delayed because of the incorrect repairsWe didn't pass final house inspection because of the plumbingAfter days and over hours on the phone with Fidelity they refused to "make good" and send another plumber out to correct the work, and do repairsI had to pay over $*** to fix the problemFidelity represented the plumber, hired the plumber, yet they walked awa

Last June tenants in our property informed us that the power was randomly going off in most areas of the house We contacted Fidelity Home Warranty but the company they sent said it was a system overload and it would not be covered It did not sound right that an overload would suddenly happen in a year old house, without any substantial change We requested immediately a second opinion and e-mailed the disagreeing findings to Fidelity Home Warranty Nobody contacted us, and every time you call them you have at least a minute wait on hold (sometime well over hour !) Early August I sent another e-mail checking on the status of our claim No response
Now, I finally decided to make the repair and will need to seek reimbursement from Fidelity Home Warranty

Been trying for over a week to get my oven/range fixed by fidelityThey assigned someone minutes out of town and I can’t get them on the phoneI’m about to lose my mindFidelity ***

I have gone back and forth regarding the toilet issue on my townhome located at *** *** *** *** *** *** **The fee was withdrawn from my account but no resolutionI have called and requested a Mgr to assist in resolving the matter; however, no resolution yet

This home warranty is a scamWe had a ceiling fan that malfunctionedIt was spinning uncontrollably in the bedroom my daughter sleeps inWe had to cut it down to keep my daughter safeTheir technician was aware we had to do so and agreed to come outTook a dollar payment form us but then said because we cut the fan down, would not be able to complete the repair workTheir company clearly operates a scam where they take payment but provide no servicesMultiple calls to complain were directed a voice mail without any satisfactory resolutionI wish I hand consulted yelp as you can see there is a clear and repeated history of dishonest business practice

I can not emphasize strongly enough how mismanaged my warranty claim was - and currently still - isMy tragic tale all started on Thursday, December 27th of I was in my garage when suddenly what started as a steady dripping (turning eventually into a stream) of water started pouring through the drywall of my ceilingI quickly rushed to shut water off to the house, but that did nothing to affect the leakAs far as I was able to deduce, the upstairs tub/shower (which sits directly above where the leak happened) is the culpritI quickly informed my family member who was using the tub/shower to avoid using it until we could have someone come out and fix the leaking/burst pipe causing the issueI called fidelity that night and they said they were expediting my claimThis is where things slowly spiral even more downwardHad I been allowed to simply contact a local plumber, they would’ve been there the very next morning to fix my issueI know this because my first instinct was to call local and they said they’d be there the next day However, fidelity makes you go through one of their contacted plumbers, so a call back to my local guy to cancel it wasIt wasn’t until the next afternoon that I even received the plumbers Information from fidelity, and even then when I went to schedule with their plumber that they’d wouldn’t be over until the following day (Saturday, two days after the leak was detected)I book the appointment and the plumber no calls- no shows on meI check the plumbers reviews and they have consistently bad reviews of no cashowing and doing shoddy work, with many of the reviews were from people forced to work with them through fidelity claimsI then call fidelity back to get a new plumberAnother day goes by before I get their information, and then two days later is their soonest availability (Thursday the 3rd, a full week after the leak occurred)Once again, the plumber is a no cashow and their reviews were even worse than the previous plumber, also once again mostly from people forced to work with them through fidelityWe called fidelity back that same day demanding a manager and we’re promised a call within the hour along with a new plumberThe next day (over hours after they were supposed to have had a manager call us back) I call againAgain I demand a manager, only to be put back on hold for another ten minutesOnce someone picked back up, they weren’t even a manager, but a standard call center repI demand a manager again, but this rep now says that I can only be put on a list to have a manager call me within 24-hoursneedless to say we are not happyAs things now stand, we are on day with an active leak, have called fidelity over times trying to get a plumber out here, and are STILL waiting for dispatch to give us someone who will (hopefully) show up to an appointment — that’s all dependent on if fidelity has any plumbers contracted with them that can even understand what it takes to get a two star review on ***

Long story short, we found out furnace and A.C(years old) weren't working and had a technician look at itHe tried messing with the control board but had trouble getting it to workHe also said there was some rust in the heat exchanger which may be from a crackSo we decided we'd wait until March and have someone look at replacing the thing as we were just about to dive into some other renovations and didn't need to deal with it right awayAround Feb we discovered it was under warranty only after receiving a warranty renewal invoice from fidelity(We are new at this home ownership thing) So we called them and had them send someone to look at itUnfortunately we'd forgotten during the renovations our gas line had been capped after the renovation company accidentally cut into it, which wasn't a huge deal at the time because nothing in our has other than the furnace uses gasSo the tech comes out and tells us a few things; first the unit is undersized for the homeSecond, he

We had an emergency situation on a Saturday with an extensive leak with the faucet filler to our poolWe have been with Fidelity since when purchasing our home paying our yearly contract fee and service fees promptlyThey left us holding the bag on this one - from the initial phone to their agent who placed the dispatch call on hold, to obtaining an out of network plumber on a Saturday as this was an emergency, to filling out all the extensive paperwork, to several follow up calls to Fidelity to receiving a generitic letter from Fidelity - to even offering to pay half of the $which we paid for the out of network company, to all the necessary paperwork and even sending a *** package to Fidelity with all the pertinent information - to date we have not even had a replyThey never answer the phone, they tell me all the managers are in a meeting and all emails and paperwork go answeredI have had two conversations with a supervisor *** who has done her best..I must say th

I, like other families, pay for home warranty coverage and have received very little in returnI places service orders in February and paid $** for each assessment which confirmed what I already knfire alarms needed to be replaced and my upstairs toilet was leakingDespite both technicians recommending replacements for both issues, nothing happenedPer the supervisor's statement, I received no service because he technician did not write in their report to the company that the service needed to be doneI am now asked to pay another $** to have another plumber tell me what I already knowI have not had a satisfactory technician result in the three years I've had this serviceIt seems Fidelity is very good at collecting the service fee but not delivering the needed serviceI now have to hire a plumber to complete the work which should have been covered by the initial request In FebruaryThis is such a ripoff and a disservice to those of us who rely on such a service to kee
