I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I signed up with [redacted] for a 1 time 3% increase, Crunch increased it to 10%. With their plan I would be paying over $200 for annual maintenance fee within 5 years. I work in the fitness industry and any increase in Annual Maintenance (Which is suppose to be a flat fee with no increase) is seen as a poor business tactic to tact on losses to the business from increased membership cancellations. I find this offensive as a long standing member to be treated this way, since Crunch has decided to not acknowledge any of this I decided I do not want anything from them, I just want others to know the business practice of this organization so they could make an informed decision before they join.

Ms. [redacted] joined online back in April. Ms. [redacted] said she didn't realize that the monthly payments would continue. Club manager explained the membership is on a month-to-month; no contract and can cancel with a 10-day notice before next billing cycle in writing. Ms. [redacted] said she didn't understand that and was advised during the time of her membership, only 2 payments were made and the her past due was 63.95. Ms. [redacted] was informed there were 2 $15.00 late fees applied which made balance due $93.95. She said she understood the $63.95 but didn't realize there were late fees. terms, we provide a P.O. Box where you can mail your certified letter to as well as offer forms in our club which no letter has been received here nor a cancellation filed in the club. Furthermore, the final line of your agreement reads, "If you have any questions regarding the Agreement or these Terms and Contidions please contact Crunch Member Services at [redacted] or email Crunch at [redacted]. Again, no record of your cancellation exists on file. In addition, our website has an FAQ section towards the bottom of the page which after selecting them, will show a series of topics with cancellation being one of them and actually guides you to reach out to your location for information on cancellation.

Hi [redacted]I was told in the attached previous email I would be charged the 167.16/each for remaining balance on the accounts. I have also disputed the February charges on my citibank card. Your failure to be ethical and just has forced to me to follow the law to the letter. I am seeking FULL repayment of the entire balance of CRUNCH fees as I never entered into a contract with CRUNCH fitness. I entered into a contract with BOOM fitness. The attached documentation includes all emails, correspondence, as well as written testimony by other BOOM fitness members that were also victimized by CRUNCH fitness. Any reputable company would have notified BOOM members, stated any changes to the new gym, and given members a CHOICE as to whether to enter a new contract OR allowed them to cancel without penalty, as it is not my fault that BOOM was sold to CRUNCH fitness. Ms. V[redacted] has still failed to produce a detailed explanation of why my situation cannot be made an exception nor has she responded to the multiple reasons as to why it should, such as not being satisfied with the new trainer/member experience - this experience is not what I paid for, alongside the medical reasons (which I can produce the necessary paperwork from my physician if/when needed). And one reason, in particular, stands out in my mind: the Revdex.com website shows PROOF that a partial refund was given to a member even though the trainer was terminated. Why was that member given a refund, but not me?
